Congrats. TJ, the best of all of the jeeps. Not sure what it's like in Oregon, but just make sure you keep an eye on the frame, particularly where the control arms attach. You can even stick your finger in the holes on the side of the frame and feel around in there for build up of dirt and grime, and unfortunately, rust scale. That's where it starts on these things and where i am in the mid atlantic, these things always rust. It can be controlled and even repaired but it happens to 90% of them regardless of where in the country they are. It's a nice looking jeep, have fun!
FINALLY I've found something to stop rust, "Surface shield" made by the PB Blaster guys. Jeeps tend to see a lot of water, yours definately has, save it now! Check it out, I coat every inch of non painted surface on my CJ5 with it, it's working!
Check the head casting number. If it’s 0331, keep an eye on it. They are commonly known to crack. Mine did and blew the top off my radiator
Good to know...thankyou!

Thanks!
