it's amazing how the locks mature and look thicker over time. I can't wait for mine to do that .
i started my sister locks in June 2017 and have had to retightenings in July and August. I am liking it gradually.

I want my loc exactly like that. I love the pattern of how they were installed. Love it!!! Where did you get yours done and how often do you have them tightened?
a1mcmiller Thanks! I got them installed in Sacramento, CA. I typically get them retightened every 6 weeks.

Robin F You know, I never thought of it as fine until I got sisterlocks. I was initially worried when I saw so much scalp during the install, but the process definitely helps identify fineness, density, etc... It's never been that 'scalpy' since though.

how do the ends of the natural go off?
It's a gradual process. It took a little over a year for my ends to loc. I've heard that it can be longer depending on your hair.
