Crissy K thank you!! ❤️
Congratulations on your journey!!!! My babies are fairly new, they were established on June 2. You have a new subscriber. Please keep us updated on your journey 😘😘
Try sea-breeze, and welcome to the no comb club 🤣🤣🤣. I'm three years in my sister lock journey, I started with a couple of inches of new growth on relaxed hair, it been a journey but I don't regret it, after 2 years in I decided to get the little big chop cutting some of those relaxed ends off, my hair has about 12 lengths 🤣🤣🤣, my next cut will be when my locks are a certain length right now I'm just enjoying getting my hair in a ponytail that's not to stubby, but I ❤️❤️❤️ my locks.
Hi I'm 2 days into my journey and it was 3 exhausting days for my install but the end results was well worth it. Im starting to experience itching and I've been using aloe Vera juice mixed with rose water on my scalp and it seems to help so far.
Welcome to the Sisterlocks family!!! Your locs are beautiful!!!
Thank you :)
You and your hair is beautiful! I also have a three day establishment scheduled in two weeks! I've subscribed to follow your journey :)

Welcome to the sisterlocks family! 😀 Your SL's are gorg!
Thank you!! :)
Looks good! CONGRATS on starting your loc journey!
Thanks, love!
I know your pain with the itching! I get itchy flare on my scalp from time to time and the only thing that helps is dandruff shampoo (specifically Nizoral) Not even apple cider works. I couldn't take it anymore and in month 5 I had to use it. It made my locks temporary luster and I could tell constant use would be an issue but once a month has not been an issue for me at all! Just braid and band tightly, concentrate the soap on your scalp, let it sit for the recommended time, and rinse, rinse, rinse! Hope this helps ❤️
Ooh, I may need to try that in a month or two. Thank s for the tip!
Coconut oil stops the scalp itch for me
My journey will start May 7th & 8th 2021. I'm excited.
Great video! I am 27 months sisterlocked. When my sister first got locked, she had itchy scalp real bad. She used Seabreeze on her scalp which she said helped tremendously. Maybe try that. Welcome to sisterlocks!
please trying to start this journey, do you know any loctician in Atlanta you can recommend?
You look amazing! congratulations ! May your loc journey be amazing!
Aw, thank you! I have been following your journey closely for the past year and it was very helpful when making my decision on how I wanted to go about everything. xx

Thanks!!!
DrkNlvely YO LOX LOOK GREAT 2, I SAW YO CHANNEL.
They look great! ❤❤
Thank you!
Have you tried organic apple cider vinegar diluted with water on your scalp. I've heard that helps balance the ph balance of your scalp and reduces itching.
Thank for making this video!! My sisterlock journey starts on August 30th-September 4th. At my consultation my hair was 10 inches. My interlocking pattern is going to be a 3. What’s yours?!
beautiful!
Lovely!
Migrating scalp? You mean everybody's scalp doesn't move around when you push it?????
Try apple cider vinegar on a q-tip for itching. I've heard it works
Your skin is flawless
Did you lock your entire hair, meaning the shaft and the end at the initial stage ( first installation)
Welcome!! I am 13 weeks in with my sisterlock journey!'
Oh wow!I bet you love it so far :)
***** I am totally loving it. I am documenting on CZcams as well 😀😀
can anyone recommend a great loctician in Atlanta-Montgomery Alabama region. thanks in advance
NICE HAIR TEXTURE ALSO.
Beautiful!!!! How many locs do you have?
I've had mine for 13 years and the scalp itches like crazy starting maybe a week after it has been re-tightened and that happens to other people i know with locks as well. I've been told that it happens because of the hair starting to grow and lift from the scalp but idk if that's really the reason. Your sisterlocks are beautiful btw!
Hmm, well I guess people do say when your hair grows it makes your scalp itch but then again it might be the tension on the scalp right after a retightening? Because since my establishment, I only notice the itching for about 2 days after a fresh retightening but not any other time. Thank you! xx
Which rotation did your loctician use on you?
Your locs are beautiful! My loc anniversary is 5/10/17 😍
Casey J thank you! Welcome 💁🏽❤️
CUTE BRACES.
🔴wow, you gonna love it👋🏾👍🏾✌🏽
🔴Almost at my one year mark💁🏾🎂
Yours look beautiful from the very beginning
How much did you pay for ur sister locs
Youre gorgeous. Dont ever change who you are.
Oh wow, thanks!
Nice sister locs
They look great
Thank you!
Welcome to the sisterlocks family. Try Suave clarifying shampoo. It works wonders!
The scalp goes through its own transition. The itch will decrease in intensity. Try to notice what precedes the itch to remedy.
Looks beautiful! Where did you have your install done?
Thank you! I got it done in Queens, NY - my consultant's site is www.rockyourlocs.com/
Thank you!
Just got my install completed December 19, 2019 by your consultant
Oh that's awesome - I love her!
I wash my hair TGel. Works wonders
Miss you on Instagram. Hope you're alive.
Could someone pls tell me have they ever paid 1400 dollars for there locks
My hair is mostly 3B/3C and YES long strands just work their way out. You will find that frizz will be your best friend (for better or worse - LOL). Be sure to faithfully braid and band because the slippage is real. I am 6 months in and still get some slippage, I started with about 12 inches of hair. Even so, I "like" my locks most days. Can hardly wait for thickness so I can say I LUV them 😀.
Diluted sea breeze helps me with itchy scalp, when I can no longer stand it. I also find the sisterlocks shampoo does its job too well as it roughens up the hair shaft which causes my hair to be prickly against my scalp. My consultant gave me permission to alternate with a milder "non-sulfate shampoo. This helps a lot. As another viewer said spraying rose water on your scalp also alleviate the itch.
Enjoy the journey.
I've heard about the rose water to help, but I'll def. ask my consultant about using a different shampoo down the road as I get the same prickly feeling at my roots after I wash with the sisterlock shampoo. I can hardly wait for the thickness too!! lol
honey get some braggs apple cider vinegar for that itchy scalp. don't smell the best but baby it's a miracle worker.
Hey Tyler, your sisterlocks look awesome. I'm so happy for you. I have some of those loose hairs as well. It takes about a week after my reti for them to start. Definitely keep us posted. As you requested, I started my journey October 23, 2016. I love my hair. I started with a Mohawk and now growing out. Check me out on here.
Ah! I'm so happy for your journey!
U LOOKED GOOD ALREADY, BUT THEN U LOOKED GREAT AFTER.
Why do your hair looks like it’s loos on the end
What’s your hair type?
Track Star 3c around the perimeter, 4a at my crown!
