So thankful to have found your videos! You are helping understand what I might encounter. Your locs are beautiful!
Kami'zMuzikEnvy I’m so glad I could be of help! I thought it would be useful if there were more experiences/detailed videos out there 🤗
Your locs are looking really good! I've heard that losing a loc happens now and then for various reasons. I've also heard that it's a good idea to keep your hands out of your hair, which I know isn't easy when you are lovin' it, lol, especially in the most fragile areas. Anyway, wow! I'm inspired!
YaYa I feel like I touch my hair a lot more when I’m talking about my hair 😂
You're probably so right, lol!
Another thing occurred to me. You might want to ask your consultant to make sure she doesn't re-tighten that area too tightly. Perhaps leave a little more space so tit doesn't pull on the fragile areas. Anyway, I saw that on another video.
Yes. I experienced the bulbs in my locs around month 5 to 8... but now I don't see them. I'm over a yr now!!
Janet- GatHouse Fitness hopefully mine will disappear too 😩
You tickled me with the plucked chicken comment, beautiful locs
nicole cannon lol thank you 😭❤️
That's my biggest fear!
You're hair has definitely grown and looks great. Do you have any issues with slippage or bunching?
solange Williams No not really, not anymore!
Great progression
You should do a video on your braces. Colors suggestions etc.
Can you please post the products you use on your edges. Thank You😁
About how much does it cost to get the sister loc installed
What grid pattern do you have?
Tyler your sisterlocs are gorgeous. I live in NYC as well, and who is your consultant and where are they located in NYC?
Thank you!! My consultant actually just moved to Trinidad D: I believe her sister will still be doing sisterlocks though; she is located in Queens if you look on the sisterlocks website!
When you lose a loc does it come out from the root? Like now you have a spot on that part of your head from a missing patch of hair? It sounds painful
Well no. Think of it like breakage when your hair isn't properly moisturized because that's really what happened. basically, the strands became brittle and snapped. Nope, no missing patch of hair. I have a cow lick in that spot, which for me is the most fragile part of my hair since the hairs are all growing away from one another - it was just weaker. So now theres just a little tiny spot with shorter hairs.
I wonder if it would be okay to put a few drops of essential oil into your shampoo for some aroma? Hmmm.
YaYa ooh I think I’ll ask my loc consultant about that!! Great idea!
