could you do a video on your tips for starting a business/things you wish you knew when you started your business?
Agreed! Would love to hear this too 🙋🏼♀️
Yes pls! And this video was sooo informative thank you for being so transparent
Thank you! This was the best tutorial I’ve seen! You clearly and simply explained the process of the wedding cake industry.
Can you make a video on cutting cakes? Especially tall cakes.
Ah! Georgia! I can't tell you enough how much I loved this video. Thank YOU for being so open and honest with us! I'm new to the caking world (here in Sydney, Australia) but like you, love making people happy through cake. I turn down wedding cake requests because there is so much I haven't experienced yet - so you've helped me a great deal. Also, your portion size guide is the most helpful thing I could have come across. THANK YOU! If you could, please tell us how you safely deliver your cakes! Thank you xx
Enjoyed your video and information. One tip I learned on another site is to always make sure and take a picture of the cake showing the condition of it when you set it up at the venue. If later something happens, a finger poke, some type of damage, etc, you have documented proof of its condition. One never knows what could happen when the cake is left. I have never experienced this, but someone else did.
Your videos and tutorials have helped me so much throughout my baking journey and I’ve just been asked to do my first wedding cake... This video is exactly what I was looking for and answered many questions that google couldn’t - thank you!!
Thank you Georgia, extremely helpful especially the portion sizes and pricing!!
Thank you so much! I just started taking on wedding cakes and This was the video I’ve been waiting for! You rock! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! Definitely helpful, you've gone through the real thing. And it is for any made-to-order cake business, really loved it.

Great video, extremely helpful, I always struggle with pricing cakes and you have simplified the process!
Thank you for sharing 😃
This was a very helpful video! I’m just starting out and have absolutely no idea how to price cakes. I got married back in December last year and my cake was included in the price of my venue package so I didn’t even actually know the price of my own cake! I think everything you said makes total sense, thank you!
Great tutorial very useful as I’ve just set up my business, thanks for the advice x
Literally just what I needed! I’m not new with weddings but I’m starting to get very serious about it and this helped SO SO much! Thank you thank you!!💕 if you have any more helpful tips please make a part 2!!! 😁

This video is amazing, thank you :)❤
I find your video by chance and let me congratulate to you for figuring out us some doubts about extra fees in wedding cakes as tasting weddings cakes.
I agree with you about bakers must avoid spending unexpectedly fees because you don't know what kind of customer could have.
This was so helpful thank u for this tutorial and I love ur videos 😍♥ ♥
Wonderful it’s very helpful thanks x
I'm making my first wedding cake. 3 tiers. Firstly I declined as they asked for it in 3 days and that is just not enough notice, I still have my full time job and I am 7months pregnant at the moment too. They changed then (not sure how wedding date is so flexible) to 1 week away. I agreed although it is still very short notice, but they seemed really desperate. So I never made 3 tiered cake and I came here for knowledge! I have been making and decorating since last year October so I'm really new. Wish me luck and thank God for these kind of videos.
Very useful information
Thank you so much
KE
Thank you for this information!
Thank you for you precious advice! I'm starting my own business now and this video helps me a lot!
Thanks for your tips!
You made my day Georgia , thank you so much for that, you explained it wonderfully, I think I know where I went wrong on one of my wedding cakes, I definitely under charged, it was a 4 tier, bottom one was 14 inch and I only charged £350. I will know next time, you are awesome xxx
Really informative, thank you!
Very lovely video 💗 I personally prefer the word "serves" 25 over the word "feeds" 25.... To me it just sounds a bit more elegant because cake is not the meal, feeds just doesn't sound right to me lol... Cake is a small portion at the end of the meal and is usually served to the guests so maybe that's where I get my humble logic lol.... That's just me though... I don't want to change anyone, just offering a humble opinion ;)
Very well presented👏🏼
Great tutorial 👍👍 thanks for sharing🎂🎂
This was such a great video
Thank you so much Georgia. This was a really helpful tutorial, as they all are. I do have one request suggestion and that is how you actually transport your cakes. Do you have a van or do you have any tips on how to keep them level and unmoving in a car? I travelled with just a 2 tier cake on my lap in a box and it was the most nerve racking time ever lol. Thank you once again. x
Thanks for sharing! Very helpful :)
This was helpful. Thanks
You saved me darling....am just starting out but this information is absolutely super helpful
This is a great video. Couldn't agree more about leaving business cards - the DJ put about 10 business cards in our card post box at my wedding; we were furious at the crassness of it so never recommended him to anyone! That's always stuck with me and I wouldn't dream of being so upfront, but do like the idea of leaving some with the venue though, much classier.
Wahouuuu thanks a lot for sharing your tips !! This is really helpful for anyone who wants to launch his/her small business
I like the explanation 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽well done ✅
Very helpful info! Thank you!
Thanks dear you have made my job easily. It was difficult for me to Charge the Cake
Thank you!!!! Brilliantly helpful video! :-)
I loved this! Was so interesting! Wedding cakes so scare me 😂😂 xx
Awesome class! Thank you! Does each size of cake tiers have 4 - 2" layers of cake?
Thanks for this
When you deliver a wedding cake, do you set it in the back of the car, in a tall box, or something else?
Thanks for posting this very informative video. Do you make an anniversary cake tier, and if so, what size do you usually make it?
Hello thank you very much for sharing your experience
I am watching your videos from so long and I haves and subscribe too
but surprise I didn't come cross this wedding informative video
It is very help full 🤗
This was so lovely and so helpful! Would you be able to share a bit more about transporting? I am so afraid of it all collapsing or somehow going wrong in that process. Or, worst case scenario, say you dropped the cake walking into the venue and it was completely ruined - what would you do?
Very very help-full 🤞💞💕thank you so much! Saw on Google ....though a subscriber
So helpful May Godbless you
Very informative - thanks for sharing Georgia it was very helpful! Am i right in saying you don't charge extra to hire your cake stands apart from the refundable deposit?
Awesome
Hi Georgia, I just love your tutorials, they have been so helpful :) I did want to ask with your portion sizes, would they be considered dessert or coffee serves?
Awwn...I like ur tasting pricing idea
Do the dowels take up some of the portions? Thanks!
It is very helpful video for as I just started cake business..Thanku very much .🤗💕..just want to ask .where do u order cake box for 2 tiers or 3 tiers from ?? Much appropriated..
This was an amazing video though i have one request because i have been a subscriber for some time now and i love your techniques can u please share a video on making eggless cake.
Can we get a link for the form you have?
Sorry if you mentioned this but what are the dimension for your grids, as in the length and width of each square?
how do you incorporate your pricing for fresh flowers? Or is this just incl in your price/serv? TIA
Thank you so much for your videos! Love the transparency and advice. I have a small question regarding delivering the cakes... how do you deliver your cakes? And what boxes/equipment do you use to make sure it does not get hurt during transport.
Thank you so much! This was so helpful
