This had made me realize how important this is to people. When I was a youngin and in high school, I graduated a semester early. I didn't care about the celebration, I didn't care about walking with the other kids (most of my friends were older), I didn't care about senior picure, I didn't want a graduation party. My mom was bummed out and I really didn't get, but the virus that shall not be named has made me realize how important this is to a lot of people. Sorry to those who wanted to participate and couldn't
The only reason why I went to graduation was for my mom and family. I drew the line at prom though.
Same. On my last few weeks of my senior year some things happened where I had to go to a different school to finish my credits. I ended up finishing my stuff in 2 weeks and graduated a month early. And it made me kinda sad cause I've spent my whole 4 years in my high school and after I asked my school if I can still graduate with them they said no and the only thing I could do was go to prom. And so I never walked because I didnt want to walk with a school I was only at for 2 weeks. Wat probably made it worse is that I watched my twin brother graduate 😂😂 but I understand these kids that are very upset about it because that's all they looked forward to. And they couldn't have the fun things seniors do.

I feel so bad for the seniors of other high schools. I didn’t even think about so many schools that aren’t doing a physical graduation. My school is still planning a ceremony so that the seniors still have a graduation. Granted my school isn’t that big so the ceremony won’t be too crazy. I wish the best for all the seniors out there. You all deserved a much better year than you got but I hope you make the most of it.

I feel the whole “my last name starts with Z” because I went to a high school where my graduating class size was 1,000 people and I was the last name called. I literally had to sit for 3 hours before my name finally got called 😂 however I got the biggest applause because I was the last person so it was pretty hype 😂

@@hokorigb For graduations, you wait longer for your name to be called since they name every student by alphabetical order. In this instance, its honestly not serious since even if your last name starts with an A you still have to wait until everyone is called before you can leave the ceremony but its a fun excuse to use if you don't want to do something that requires alphabetical order.

Every Quarantine graduation ever: when you earned a masters in biomedical science and there was a clerical error (someone working remotely drank too much wine) and 3 students including yourself technically didn’t graduate but you were suppose to and the whole family saw your name NOT scroll by and now they are telling you that you won’t walk until December 🙃🙃🙃 and you won’t get to come back for the ceremony because you have jobs. 🙃🙃🙃🙃

Cause it isn't, it's lame to graduate online. We've spent 12 years of schooling to walk on stage and get a diploma showing "We did it!" Graduation is a time to be proud and it doesn't feel as if we're getting the recognition we deserve if it's over a crappy Zoom call. Plus not only did we lose a proper graduation, but we lost Prom too. The worst of all of it is that we never got a chance to say goodbye, it's very unlikely we'll see a lot of people ever again.
