this will get viral for sure!
Going to try migrating some huge data from my old pc to the new one directly by using SN850X.
Good luck
yeah its gen 4 and it will fit a gen 3 pcie thing but your 7300mbps will get capped to around 3500mbps because gen 3 slot.
i was wondering if you tested it on crystaldisk and you did nice. and as expected i stood corrected. by 44mbps shy.
Still 3.2k-3.5k read/write speeds are still fantastic and a gawh dayumn quantum leap in data transfers. since sata3 to hdd/ssds max data transfers
are around 500-600mbps. your gen4 m.2 ssd Would* be 7k read/write speeds if your mobo had a gen4 slot. and usually a sata slot gets disabled depending on the mobo. thanks for the video. cheers mate.
I have installed it on my new ROG Strix motherboard, which has gen4 slots, and now I'm getting the full speed.
@@fivelevels wow im jealous. the data transfers must be insane.
Nice to see, i’ve got a b350 but got a steal on gen 4 ssd nvme 1tb 7,000 write 6,500 read for $50
Yes, it definitely was a steal!
