Sub-requested Bf109G14AS video! Uptier against Russians no less! In this video I use 2 very advanced Bf109 tricks to defeat the mighty Russians in dogfights.
Bf109G14AS is essentially a Bf109G10 at 5.0. It's better than the German G14 and it's at a lower BR. Don't fly the German G14, it's the worst high tier Bf109.

yak 3 vk - it outturns, outdives, outclimbs, and outrolls you.
well, have fun.
Haha I wouldn't say outdives though, rip speed is around 700km/h.
But yeah, gotta have teammates or know some tricks.
outclimbs ?

Nice explanation of prop pitch.
Thanks!
After not playing war thunder for months, I started watching your videos this week to know what are different aircraft performance (I neither knew it before) and I find them really useful as I'm learning maneuvers and pros so I use them to my advantage. Keep this work up, you are amazing!
I hope you can fly the f4u-1c as it is my best US aircraft (I'm close to get jets on Germany) or the f8f-1b, you don't have any vid on it and I've been listening it is really good
Nice! Glad they are useful to you! With the experience I have in this game I really feel like the pros and cons really reflect the situation of each aircraft at their BR.
I have videos on both, but they are old, so I'll add them to my list again! I highly recommend flying the F4U4B, if you like F4U1C and F8F1B, you'll like the F4U4B. I also have like 3 F4U4B videos too ;).
Very insightful video as always! These tricks will definitely help out in sim! Was a pleasure to fight along side you in one battle, I was in the f8f against russians and you were in the P-51H. o7
Thanks man!
O7
Great vid again! Thanks for the explanations as always!
Thanks man! My pleasure!
Thanks for the vid i requested!
Very usefull :)
My pleasure mate!
Love your videos Adam 😁
Thanks man!
You sir is awesome.
Thanks a lot for the tricks.
Good video.
Haha thanks man! My pleasure!
Great video, I saw you in a game about a week ago but didn't have to the chance to say hello before you got shot down by a B29 in a Ar 234C. Love your videos and keep up the good work
Haha thanks mate!
Brilliant maneuvers!
Wow I actually got here early. Nice vid on the G14, I love the Gustavs for what they can do and their surprising maneuverability, great job fighting! I’d love to be able to fly that well :) keep up the great work
You can do anything when you put your mind to it ;).
Thanks!
Adam514 if you don’t mind, I have two possible requests for you to fly out... first is to plz fly outMiG-9 or 9/L, and uptier a biplane like the I-153 with 20mm into a jet battle for giggles
Mig9 is on my list, but I won't do your second request.
Adam514 awww no giggles
bravo, you figured out the prop pitch at low speeds thing :) was guessing it could work when you uploaded that video about the K-4 thrust loss at low speeds a while ago, but never made it work properly
Haha yup! When I figured out why thrust falls at low speed on Bf109s, it was a simple matter of manually controlling prop pitch to achieve slightly higher RPM at low speed.
Great video as always. Thanks for it, I think I am one of the subs who request it.
Thanks mate! It's possible!
Always fancied myself as good at war thunder but your gameplay is another level. The best high level war thunder gameplay on CZcams.
Hahaha thanks man!
DAAAYYYUUUMMMNN that last kill
Hahaha thanks!
Pretty cool and very competent :)
I aspire to be both of those things ;).
This is what peak performance looks like
You may not like it, but
Just what I need! Thanks!
Haha that's a very precise need!
My pleasure!
I came back to WT after months and I've been enjoying the 109's, specially the G-2/trop and G-14. Loved to watch a good 109 pilot using the best of that plane can give👌
Thanks mate, and welcome back!
I highly recommend using K4 as a 5.3 Bf109, G14 is pretty much objectively the worst 5.3 109.
@@AdamTheEnginerd how do all the late G models (and the K, technically it was a standardised late 109G) compare to each other?
Excellent tricks, thanks for the video. I got redirected here from your MEC video(redirected from Defyn). thanks for the upload.
Man never stops putting out grate content thanks for all the vids bro and I have another request now play the I-225 sins I’m grinding it and not to far in it I don’t know if it’s worth or na
My pleasure!
It's not worth it atm, I think it'll be reworked/get a BR reduction.
Thanks so much man it would have bin a waist then
that mvp thing you said should be awarded to the number 1 in the leaderboard as the more point he has, the more he helped towards the team's victory. and about baiting, warthunder detects when you save someone giving you fighter/bomber/ground rescuer. The rescued could get a baiting bonus if he gets out alive
On the contrary, the one with the most points on a team is often the ground pounder, so it can't work by points.
@@AdamTheEnginerd if you think that ground attack maps you can win by killing ground, he did helped the team win. Unfortunatelly or fortunatelly, air battles arent just for dogfighting
Killing artillery and AA is useless to the team and gives the most points...
@@AdamTheEnginerd then gaijin should remove points and only awardd sl and rp. its a good way to get out of stock when flying a somewhat bad plane for stock dogfighting
Great videos!
I love the 109 series, and recently got the G6. I noticed it rolls slower than what I used to fly back to back (g2) but I liked the plane nonetheless
Can you do a video on the G6? Your gameplays are awesome.
Thanks

109 don't have good roll indeed.

Well didn't know it would be your fifth already hehe, take your time ^
Hello. New to the channel but love it. Very helpfull and entertaining.
May i request to fly out the f2h havent seen lots on it.
Welcome! Thanks!
Haha you haven't seen lots of it for good reason. I recommend making the same request to DEFYN (another CZcamsr), he plays jets a lot more and would be better able to deliver.
Ight thanks. Ill look to see. Keep up the prop gameplay tho. Very good.
Thanks! I will!
I only fly Sim and I only watch Sim, but this video was great even by Sim standards. Well done and well played!
Thanks mate! I'd play sim if my eyes could take it, but alas.
If you mean that you can't spot any planes in Sim that can be fixed pretty easily, there's settings for that because it's a common issue for pilots in WT - forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/28020-graphics-tweaks-for-improved-visibility/&do=findComment&comment=7783519 . And you don't even need the costly TrackIR to be a good pilot, $15 Logitech webcam and some handmade tracker solves that, there's a lot of threads about that too, but if you're up for it, dm me, I can give a you nice tutorial I used myself.
Meant the need to keep track of dots with markers.
Yeah I have some head tracking ability, that's not the issue.
Remember the fun days of Yak 3p 4.0, and the 109 f-4 overheating at 90%. good times. Btw good shooting. If you want a rough time p51 d5 stock and fly solo. Its painful
Lol D5 spaded is rough already.
lol all I know about prop pitch in Bf109 above F-4 is that it wreck engine & a good airbrake for landing. The G-10 is my favourite.
Using it for landing is the first step!
ADAM.....YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT!!!
Yak23?
Nice work although I'm amazed at your team being useful.
At the moment where 2 of your teammates came to help. If that was me in your Messerschmitt it'd be 2 more russians comming in to save their comrade for sure
Teams and positions vary. You also have some control over where your teammates are relative to you.
Wow, the last kill was so beautiful.
Thanks!
Nice video :) Please can you make duel TA-152H vs P-51H with view at both fighters?
I've been wanting to do that! The result might be surprising ;).
Can´t wait :-)
Been watching your vids for a while and I finally managed to get a clean kill by reversing a yak in a Fw 190. Man I jumped out of my chair when I managed to finally not get my ass handed to me in warthunder and actually helping my team lmao
Nice congrats!
Hi Adam, love your vids. They really help me improve and I love watching your videos and trying to use the same tactics myself. What is your opinion on the G55S?
Thanks man! Glad they help!
It's good, it goes well with German teams to counter UK.

It's called the "local host".
How to access the "local host":
You need to be running War Thunder or it won't work!
Option 1: on the same computer that is running WT:
-Type localhost:8111/ in the address bar and press enter and voila.
Option 2 (which also works on the computer that runs WT):
-Type Your_IP_Address:8111/ where you replace "Your_IP_Address" by your IP Address (192.168.X.XXX) in the address bar and press enter and voila, you can look at the characteristics on another device while flying.
holy fuck are you a wizard? that last kill was crazy

you got multiple enemies chasing you and you manage to drag the fight into no energy state and meanwhile team just swoop them easily while I got no exp nor commendation which can be frustrating
It's for the win!
BLYATIFUL adam subscribed nice tips m8. How can i get the thrust, IAS etc indicator on my screen?
Thanks, and welcome!
There is a way to overlay the local host over War Thunder, you need to play WT in windowed mode and use a program too overlay part of your browser over the game. I've never done it though. I have the local host on my laptop next to me and record it at the same time as I record WT, and combine them during editing.
thnx keep up the good work
GG, belle partie ^^
I used to like these carpet style clouds(if only they weren't always in %50 of my games), but the game has changed and I only encounter these "cotton" clouds now. Kinda takes out that "listening to the enemy engine sound and trying to find them in the mist" thing out of the game. The new clouds look amazing, but meh, I rarely have a chance to use clouds now. Games are always in clear weather. I didn't noticed how fun games I sometimes had in these muddy clouds until I watched this ancient video.
I much rather less clouds, there have been games with clouds covering 90% of the map, not fun.
Oooooo my second favorite plane :D
Haha damn I'm on a roll then!
Matteo 3rd mah dude. C205 s3, Bf 109 G14, then G56
Dude you know more about planes than some comercial pilots I know
I have a Bachelors of Aerospace Engineering after all ;).
I never used to be a fan of the G series 109's. But after giving the G2 trop and the G6 a go? Might have to jump over to the italians and start spading this thing. It seems awesome
It's a 5.3 Bf109 at 5.0. When G56 was at 5.3 there was no reason to pick the G14AS over the G56. With the G56 at 5.7 now, G14AS at 5.0 is a good alternative.
Adam514 is there any notable difference between the german and italian G14? (Except for the BR?)
She was my workhorse for OP Summer, Its a fantastic plane
Adam is too smart
It's unfair.
Could you upload some videos with Japanese planes, it's been a long time I don't see them anywhere, some Ki-200 or R2Y2?
Those are tier 5, but I've got Japanese planes on my list!
Awesome new prop pitch trick! Now i gotta figure out how to bind a key to 70% prop pitch haha.
Thanks!
Haha I recommend 65% especially in the beginning, 70% would not leave you much room for error ;).
Good to know! Also looking forward to the next non meta allied plane video next week. The American 109 is a fun challenge and true test of pilot skills. As is the American A8. But those might be meta planes. I'm gonna be honest i'm not really sure what "meta" means.
Meta just means something that is often used, usually because it's a combination of good and easy. The US F4 would be considered meta for example, but would be on the losing team.
Oh gotcha. Learned 2 new things today! Well then i'm guessing next week's plane is gonna be something British. Something like the tempest or typhoon, something that doesn't get flown out very often. Either way looking forward to it!
It's flown out pretty often, just not in the useful way... ;)
What do you think about the k4, I usually get 3 kills a match with it. I have the g14 for Italy too but haven’t used it lately because I love bnzing with my k4 due to its speed and when I compare both stats I see that the k4 is better (I know though that it’s heavier), but anyways yeah what do you like better?
K4 is the best 5.3 Bf109 in essentially every category. G14AS is a pretty good deal for the BR too though.
Could you make one on the me262, i'm struggling a lot with it
I've got a few videos already on the 262s.
Hey Adam what do u think about the n1k2-j on 6.3 maybe u can play it i have that much struggle with that. Thanks
Doesn't deserve its BR, but I'll consider it.
Imagine when you upgrade to speaking instead of script, you could be one of the best WT youtubers
That's only if I have a nice voice ;).
I already have 2 voiced videos though.
Hey Adam, two questions for you, is there a way to set it to go straight to 65% prop pitch instead of having to hold the button to go up to 65%? I have it set for zero for the airbrake trick but can't figure that out. And 2nd, how far down on your to do list is the jet tutorial?
You mean you have it set to 100%* for the airbrake trick?
As far as I know I don't think there is a way. But, you can change prop pitch while prop pitch is auto to get it ready for 65% when you switch.
I don't have a particular order, but next week should be a jet match.
Woah !! Mec level > God mode
Hahaha pushing the boundaries of MEC!
Idk if you’ll see this and or answer, but in your opinion what would be the best tier 4 russian prop to tailsman? Grinding them rn and i was thinking the La-7B or La-11 but i’ve heard mixed things.
Those 2 are good, consider also La7.
We need a complete tutorial of manual, prop pitch, supercharger and the other hidden settings of the planes, for simple noobies and mortal players!! thanks!
Well as soon as you get into the "hidden" stuff, it's not at all for noobies!
I'll do a MEC tutorial eventually.
@@AdamTheEnginerd Ok my bell is activated! Thanks!
Welcome!
prop pitch as an airbrake is very nice when controlling speed during landing. but you can break your engine that way
If you throttle to 0% in Bf109s you won't break your engine.
@@AdamTheEnginerd i know. now. well, i learned the hard way
Gonna miss those skies
Nahh.
How do you fight yaks at high alt in 109s (t4)? Cuz I find that the combat is so slow, you can't even do an Immelman without stalling out, and the yak has far better low speed controllability, and the engine is still powerful enough that you can't really build a substantial energy advantage without running out of fuel first.
You have better altitude performance, if you can keep looping you'll get on their 6 eventually. Or you can extend and climb since you climb better.
I found out that during 100% prop pitch
you can increase throttle and that will slow the plane down even more
but above 70% engine dies so fast you barely have time to save it
Yeah, so might as well use 0% throttle, The deceleration is massive anyway.
Sorry the video's language was a bit ambiguous, for which speed ranges, what prop percentages should we not exceed?
Only use it under 200km/h, and don't exceed 70% prop pitch.
nice, at least that's a timely reminder not to turn the 109 when pulling up. late 109s only can turn substantially while diving with the enemy.
Not sure I understand what you mean.
I means that as long as late 109s turn towards the ground (low yoyo), it can keep up with enemy planes, otherwise losing speeds either by flat turn or spiral climbing or high yoyo is actually detrimental. From 6:00 onwards, pulling up and around (high yoyo) is slower than diving and turning towards your enemy (low yoyo). This can make the difference of a second or 2 for a clear shot.
By the way, can you fly out the i-185m82? I need some tips on flying that plane
I don't think there's a noticeable difference between 109s and other planes in their upward turns.
It's on my list!
Thanks. I'd say that 109 do a half upward turn and then rudder to a downward turn helps alot in keeping up with the enemy. Much like a sine curve, high yoyo, and you'll lengthen the time it takes to make a turnaround, while also getting slow on speeds will allow your enemy to close in faster to you; low yoyo and you'll close in faster to your enemy when making a turnaround (which means that there must be a sufficient extending distance of about 3km or more) and energy is actually retained while turning around. A mix of both for a turnaround is just perfect ^.^ Upward turn really matters by ER, like the ta152h as you demonstrated can actually keep up even with a spitfire or p47. Not so much with the 109s even at such medium to low altitudes.
Do you have a separate key for pulling lower Gs(if that's even possible)? Seems like you turn a lot more gently in some of your videos whilst looking around(which suggests it isn't mouse aim).
That's because I gradually move the mouse around. But I can't do that while looking around though.
@@AdamTheEnginerd I saw you looking around whilst pulling a really slow turn in your 9* kill G10 game. May just be slow turning at altitude. Thanks anyway!
Do you reckon you can cover flap and throttle control in combat? Green Fury covered flaps but I'm not entirely sure when to cut throttle and when to WEP, in a rolling scissors for instance. If you can share what you know that'd be fantastic! Keep up the outstanding work man! :)
It was probably just perspective that made you think it was a slow turn. Or you might be referring to how I continually tap the elevator instead of holding it down to turn more gently.
I'll keep it in mind!
Usually at 100km/h prop hanging,i have no control over my aircraft and it just tips down........The extra thrust allowed you to hang in the air like that?
It helps with control and allows you to decelerate slower in the same amount of time, so you stay more maneuverable for longer.
Adam, can you make a video showing ur keyboard and mouse settings?
Yeah eventually!
@@AdamTheEnginerd glad you answered. That would be great !

It's a flight sim, prop pitch must be there in some shape or form!
i once managed to drag the fight with some russians to 7km in a Fw-190 D. it was way too easy to kill them since their engines had no power up there
That works.

okay, I got that onto place, but how do I get that window into war thunder.
When you say dont activate the prop pitch adjustment over 200 km/h, do you mean it in TAS or IAS? Thx.
IAS, but be careful. As altitude increases, you need to lower the prop pitch. For example if 70% works at low altitude, better go down to like 60% at 5km.
@@AdamTheEnginerd Oh, no wonder my G10\s engine got cooked when i tried this at 7k lmao
can you do a video with the Ki 94-II? I can't seem to get it to work
thx
It's a tough one, worse than Ta152H in every aspect without airspawn! It's on my list, but doesn't deserve its current BR.
I'll wait patiently then!
I use all the time manual engine controls
Its better
WEP all the time with radiator - oil radiator at 75%
With manual propeller pitch
50-55% for take off (e1 and 1939 bfs 65-80% )
To 2400 at 3000 rpm is a boost timed (some minutes )
Above 3000 rpm the engine will die instant
Radiators you can leave them at 20% on late 109s though, why so high?
Man you like playing with fire if you always have manual prop pitch! For takeoff 65-70% seems to be optimal.
I've done some 3100RPM without killing it.
@@AdamTheEnginerd with 0%-100% propeller pitch i perform a cobra but with help of the flaps.
The Bf can propeller Brake all you want. Only watch out for rpm.
All video that i see and i question myself : how can they perform with auto engine? :D
@@AdamTheEnginerd 75% of radiators for all time WEP. I tested a lot. For Bfs 65-75% is the best
Hahaha well if you don't know these tricks you don't know what you're missing!
Could you do a video guide about P51D20 I'm struggling with it for some time...
D20 isn't really a worthy aircraft to fly, there's much better aircraft at that BR for the US, like P38/P47D28. P51D10 if you have it is already significantly better at the same BR.
@@AdamTheEnginerd I have the P51D10 also, but they seems to be the same, I'm really pissed cause I spend my money for shtyy plane while with F4u with 4 20mm cannons I deal with everybody. I thought that you may help with some tactics and other stuff, like Americans were shooting down Luftwaffe like hell with P51D, my guess now is that the game is not that much realistic...
That last yak was killed by a Bf109G helicopter! Lol!! Beat him at his own game!
Haha exactly! How do you counter ridiculous climb except with ridiculous climb?
He probably thought you transplanted the VK engine in that 109! Lol!
Lmao this DB has more HP than the VK I think.
Adam514 probably haha!! I’d be too afraid to blow my engine messing with the prop pitch in a German plane, unless I practiced a few times in test flight.
Would you recommend getting this plane? I'm trying to grind the tree with the TA152 but I'm not sure if this plane is worth it. Should I just skip to the G10 or not get any Gustav?
This is the Italian one. German G14 is not a good deal for the BR, better off going with G10 or the Doras.

@@AdamTheEnginerd hehe. Thanks for your great information about MEC and Local host
Adam, im torn between dedicating my time to the 109s, im further down the tree , just one plane research away from teir 5, or the spitfires, im two plane buys from rank 4, i must say i enjoy turn fighting alot and spitfires seem to ge the upperhand on me 70 percent of the time, although i love the climb and energy of the 109s and i notice the differance between the 2 planes, turn fighting seems so rewarding when u outturn most planes in the game and it seems i can get into more turn fights then BnZ fights , and also 109s seem alot more harder to play, i wanna stick with the 109s but i feel once i get my skills up even more then they are now ill be able to acheive more with the easyier plane to fly (spitfire)
the spitfires aren't that good at high tuers as you will get out climbed by russians/ americans/ germans and believe me its not all about turning for example the zero turns as a ufo but still its not better than the 109s and the yaks so my advice is to either play russians or germany / russian jets are the best and russian props will never let you down as i bought a talisman for my yak 9 and whenever i play it i get like 4k rp
Griffon Spitfires get turn and climb, so you'll probably really like those.
@@AdamTheEnginerd but still they are not better than the p51d /la7/9 /yaks
Go for 109 you get better teams
1:29 as if there's anyone else on earth with aim as good as yours.
Haha that wasn't that impressive!
@@AdamTheEnginerd that just goes to show how bad my aim is 😂
I would love to get a video about all your settings (Graphics, controls, sounds, and miscellaneous game settings)
It's on my list!
@@AdamTheEnginerd Thank you! Your videos are EXTREMELY helpful for a lot of us to learn how to fly smarter. We all appreciate the time and effort you put into each and every one. Keep doing you!
@@ethanherrera5884 Thank you for the kind words, means a lot!
Wow! Here are a few questions from a relatively inexperienced pilot.
tldr: how should I learn MEC, and why does it seem to me that the German planes are bad when they're actually probably not?
1. I want to learn MEC but don't know where to start. What's the important stuff? Prop pitch, radiators, superchargers, mixture, or something else? Which things are actually necessary to learn and where should I start? And will I need to manage all of these things at once, while also fighting? (Also, MEC key bindings would be very useful)
2. As a follow-up, how do you even focus on all this stuff while dogfighting?
3. Do these tricks only work for the 109? iirc prop pitch airbrake works for all props, but what about the other tricks?
4. How can I stop missing easy kills? For example, sometimes I'll be flying out my P-47 as the last remaining player and the entire Russian team is low. I have a huge energy advantage, and patiently BnZ, taking out 3 planes. But I've spent so many failed passes on the first 3 that the other 3 have managed to climb to my alt and can turnfight me for the win. And it's not really my aim that's the problem - it's not great but it's pretty good, and I can snipe and stuff. The problem is that the enemy can simply split S and I cannot follow without losing all my advantages. Things like this make me unable to carry games even if the situation is perfectly in my favor. Advice?
5. Do you prefer German or American planes? (I'm new to the channel as well) In my humble opinion, the P-47's are better than the FW 190's in pretty much every way except for vertical energy retention, but better flaps and spraying can negate this. In fact, I have even won several dogfights against 109 G's in my P-47D-28 by using its far superior flaps, high-speed turn and lack of compression, and low-speed roll - and versus 109's it usually comes down to who starts on the other's six. And the P-51's have great energy retention as well and have better low speed handling than the 47's. Sure the American teams are not that great, but that just gives me more experience in 1v3's...But, I've noticed that you seem to like the German planes more. What are the reasons for this?
First of all, welcome! I use MEC in every video and the description contains my average MEC settings for that particular aircraft, so once you learn about MEC you'll see me switching superchargers gears at particular altitudes, opening and closing radiators, etc. It's not random, and understanding MEC is the easiest way to using it correctly.
1. There are CZcams videos on how to set up MEC that do a reasonable job, check them out and set it up. But for real, MEC is certainly a distraction if you are an under average pilot. There are many other things you should be working on before MEC.
The most useful part of MEC is controlling the radiators. Opening the radiators allows more cooling, but also creates more drag. When you're running away, closing the radiators can give a significant increase in top speed. Once you activate MEC you can't only use the radiators however, so you need to learn everything else.
My MEC key bindings are not for the faint hearted ;), they aren't ergonomic. I recommend you find your own.
2. It's second nature, and I'm in Aerospace Engineering so I love being as efficient as I can with my aircraft, hence MEC.
3. The first trick (prop pitch airbrake) works on essentially every aircraft, but to varying degrees. It works many times better on German aircraft however. The second only Bf109s can do it, because they have an issue where their thrust drops off at low speed instead of increasing like in other fighters. You can use MEC to correct that a bit.
4. P47 don't have very Maneuvering Energy Retention, so after a few passes at low altitude the other Russians will have started to reach your alt, and they'll continue to outclimb you, and it's over. You have to be patient and only go for passes you think will lead to a kill. Always go for the highest enemy.
5. Eh that's a difficult question to answer. At certain tiers I'll have different favorites from each nation. I like all nations relatively equally (except French).
I like fast aircraft that pack a punch, but can still dogfight when called to action (Tempest Mk V, F4U4B, Ta152s, etc).
Stick around and you'll learn a lot!

It's a bit old but you can find other threads that are more recent on the forum (I'm not sure I didn't research MEC too much ^^).
@@StealthySparky thanks!
Can I ask why you need clouds in the game when you have a red label on you that the enemy can see. No hiding possible ?
I've been killed many times by people I didn't see in clouds.
How do you turn off Prop Pitch thingy, I can't find it on my control settings
You need to set up Manual Engine Controls (MEC). There are tutorials on how to do it on CZcams.
omg g-2 trop is actually beast mode at BnZ by somehow (but when i got someone biting on my 6 i'm usually done for) btw, why can i activate my prop pitch control on my g-2? i mean i'm in realistic battle...
Not sure I understand the question. To use MEC you need to set it up.
hmmm what type of control r u using? i just noticed that even in Air RB there are only full-real controls that allows prop pitch
You need to bind a key to activate MEC while in mouse aim. There are tutorials on how to set up MEC on CZcams.
What are the main differences from the g14, the g10, and the g14/as
I made a video precisely on the differences between high tier Bf109s! czcams.com/video/J_QuhR3MAOM/video.html
There are so many people who think BF 109 losing trust at low speeds is a bug
95% don't even know it loses thrust at low speed ;).
@@AdamTheEnginerd well yes but I tried to explain how it worked to one person and I am not good at explaining but still he refused to believe me without even doing research about when I did research to explain it to him FML why am I saying this XD
Just link my bug report video, everything is there.
I use this trick at almost the same speed (a bit slower) my engine got fucked hard so what i do wrong?
or the new patch ruin the game? idk
btw this trick can use on the game like IL2 and DCS too but much much more realistic
Your prop pitch was too high, or you were at higher altitude. The higher the altitude, the less the air density and the easier it is for the engine to overrev on a given power, so you need to reduce prop pitch at higher altitude for a given airspeed.
@@AdamTheEnginerd thanks i forgot about that!
When your a noob at this game and you notice they use the same ideas as you but way better. So, you learn from your mistakes and the ones you watch and notice more relative it gets but either way. When having fun you truly see it all.
Not sure I completely understand your comment, but i agree with what I understood!
@@AdamTheEnginerd It's that since I started playing I been using 600mm for range on gun with stealth for low gun like 7.9 or 12.7 and cannons air targets or default. So, I feel happy I saw this as an advantage but never knew this is truly the power of knowing just the guns but how to move.
Wait I tried manual prop pitch and I could only hover only at 0% 50% and 100%, how do I set it to 70%?
In your MEC settings for prop pitch, you need to enable step control or something similar. It'll allow you to smoothly choose your prop pitch like I did.
