First and only Bf109G-2/Trop in a while! It was my favorite plane when I first started Germany many years ago. I got quite lucky to get this good of a match this quickly.
Rare Axis match that isn't boring! Quite the contrary even!
No Bf109 MEC tricks in this one unfortunately.

Can you explain sort of how the chart worked? It looked more like an altitude chart but I guess that would make sense because altitude is a big part of energy
RedJive213 specific energy equals one half speed squared plus the product of altitude times 9.81ms^-2. It is the total kinetic and potential energy of the airplane divided by its mass, with potential energy being defined as 0 at sea level.

If you learn how to boom and zoom, it’s an easy 2-3 kills per match. And usually plenty of assist. Guns jamming or running out is a problem though

Lmao but yeah team plays a big part in the success of an aircraft.
Stealth Spider I play my LF MK9 so I’m always above everyone, I’m just complaining that that performance is insane for a plane at 4.3, Gunpods even more broken because you get hit once and back to the hangar, while HisPAINos take above 4 to 8 shells at least to destroy a part of a plane.

G-2 was my main for a long time even when I got the g-6 I mostly still used the g-2 to grind for the k-4

The way you reverse with a bf 109 g2 is impressive man. they are pretty sluggish to make for a successful reversal.
The P38 was crit though haha.

Well Adam, its been over a year ago when you've uploaded this and recently I just went back this far to remember the day, I started playing War Thunder and jump straight into SB into a proving ground. I feel interested in the idea to achieve ace in a flight or more. Even double ace in a flight will be cool. In SB, I fly similar but older brother of the G2/trop, the F4/trop. Recently about a week ago, after so many struggles and crashes, yet baptism of fire upon spitfire's firing squad, I managed to achieve double ace (10 kills) in a flight only crash landed somewhere over Essen, Ruhr, due to low fuel. But most of all, this very video inspired me (lured me) into War Thunder world. Glad to comeback and pay a visit into Adam514's channel ;)

Nah it's manual. Tracking a whole team would be a nightmare haha. I did consider tracking my own energy for the whole match.
You can program specific energy onto the local host, it only needs a few lines of code, assuming you actually can program onto it
Void Mei calculates the specific excess power and overlays it over the game.

For a plane designed for the desert the fact that it overheats is mind boggling
As far as I know there's only an air filter added in the intake to prevent sand from getting in, so the cooling wouldn't change. But yeah this is one of the worst overheaters at the BR. Early Spitfires are worse at overheating though haha.
Marseille hated the G-2 due to its poor heat management. That being said if you're conscious and aware when using MEC it's really rather trivial.

I've just reasearched the plane but in RB or better said in general im a really bad pilot.. I literally dont even know what to do if im faced against other pilots so I end up being easily the first kill.. you make it look so easy lol

The P-47M is the best WWII plane in the game, so hell yes, it's a good premium.

only good thing about p47m is air brakes which makes it a bit harder to make them overshoot .

Made it with my bear hands by manually inputing speed and altitude of myself and enemies from the replay into energy equations.

How do you get this live data ? Same for the engine power black square that you often have on your screen
It's called the "local host".
How to access the "local host":
You need to be running War Thunder or it won't work!
Option 1: on the same computer that is running WT:
-Type localhost:8111/ in the address bar and press enter and voila.
Option 2 (which also works on the computer that runs WT):
-Type Your_IP_Address:8111/ where you replace "Your_IP_Address" by your IP Address (192.168.X.XXX) in the address bar and press enter and voila, you can look at the characteristics on another device while flying.
The graph is made manually after the fact though.

I was in my p51 doing boom and run tactics, mostly against Russians. Yak is on my 6 and I'm out running him when I run into a cloud, I was far enough to split s and come out from the clouds below him. he never even saw me coming till it was too late;)

Adam514 is it possible for extra radiator extension during WEP to be stronger than the WEP itself? Most importantly, does this apply to 109s and 190s? WEP is 109’s lifeline but the extra fuel usage is insane (yes I know about the spit WEP), so when is it reasonable to use WEP and when is it not? and the 190s WEP seem to not do that much and never overheats when the radiator is on automatic control, which I guess is because the radiator gives too much drag. An A5 could only go 460-500kph deck level with WEP and auto radiator. However on the stat card it shows something a lot higher.....
Certainly, on maybe 1/4 of fighters you can't stop overheating even on 100% rads.
You should always be WEPing as much as you can unless your WEP time is limited.
A5 does around 560 at sea level. Sea level speed and stat card speed are very different since they are at different altitudes
Adam514 I don’t mean to stop overheating. Overheating is just a part of life. It’s just that for example the a5, never overheats on WEP and auto radiator, and not surprisingly has a very “bad” WEP (no WEP is bad but this one is just weaker). So, I was thinking if just allowing it to overheat for a while using less radiator can make it a better performer....14m/s climb rate is just horrendous....have to wait for the 109s to push them down before doing anything....feels bad
