I enjoy Kingdom Come: Deliverance at maximum! Is my favorite game from now.
For me the best RPG was Gothic 3 then Skyrim, Fallout and now is KCD definately! - Hry
For anyone still having trouble you need to wait at the inn until midnight see if he is in a bed in the room at the top of the stairs, if he is wait a day. And if not then head back to the monastery and sneak in, if he sees you he will run back and you have to start over waiting at the inn eventually he will sneak up to the door. This took me several hours even after watching a few videos to figure out.

If anyone wants to skip past waiting and interrogating peychar, once you talk with Konrad about his fear of the assassin, head to the inn and if you find him sleeping in the beds upstairs, you can kill him and konrad will simply leave after you tell him
For anyone trying to guess, yes he is indeed an assassin, in the inn asking around people talk about him as a cloth merchant, while when you confront him he talks about spices, and when you return to Talmberg waiting a while he shows up and goes full kamikaze at the camp trying to kill Konrad
I saw this video and broke in to his hotel room and killed him, quest bugged out and I stayed at the inn to question people about him and somehow the next morning peychar is there eating breakfast like I didn't just kill him the night before. I stealithy killed him again and the inn helper comes in and sits next to his corpse like it's no big deal. Then a villager walks in a sits on top of his body like it's not even there lol.
His lies were so convincing. Damn you Peychar!
I was so shocked when he come and try to assassinate the guy at the camp, didnt cross my mind that an NPC could lie
At first didn’t kill the guy eventhough I though he was the assassin in the end, later on he successfully killed Konrad so I had to go back repeat the quest and kill him in the end.
I was brawling with him and then 4 guards just came and helped me fist fight him to a pulp
I just pulled out the bailiffs mace and turned his skull into mist

At 8pm I started picking the (hard) lock to the first door up the stairs of the tavern. In the middle of me picking it Peychar opens the door in my face and casually strolls to the monastery. There are plenty of places on the way to kill him or whatever.
I followed him to the monastery construction site where he leaned on a wall. I tried to talk to him but he kept telling me to leave. I started punching him and a guard came out to help. I tried to carry his unconscious body to the house but he woke up and took off. So I chased him down on my horse and killed him.
it seems that every rpg game when the developers decide to make a quest like this they forget to make sure it isn't bugged , always these types of quests don't work for some reason , if you're gonna give a vague objective like this at least make sure it works correctly
I sat by the barn at midnight and went up to talk to the guy who started lockpicking. Then stealth killed him and quest done
I waited all night and he didn't come
For the life of me I could not get this to work. I ended up just lockpicking the door to his room at the inn and killing him in his sleep. This quest is major bugged.
The time is very important. I don`t remember much, but do like i did to avoid bug i think. Good Luck.

For me when I'm there at midnight there is no there and i wait like 10 min
i hate when i talk to charlan " or something " accidentally like u did ,, my game is bugged so when i talk to him i can't quit of his dialogue
So I was just doing this and he strolls into the house and starts fist fighting the guard and I just slashed him a few times and bam easy quest completion
Found paychar in the inn bar as the ale maid walked out and it was only two ppl I closed the door knocked out the dude next to him then fought paychar it all worked out some how

if it's too dark for you then you can use the nighthawk potion...of course you can also bump up the game brightness to max

Oh so I can just kill him, I always feel I have to catch him showing up at the house, but he never shows his face any more, like I’m so intimating when I go tell him to stay away, he listens too me! 🤣 For real, that or a glitch, as of right now Iv waited several nights in a row, FYI if you don’t kill him, he will show up at the camp we’re your planning the siege with 2 or 3 other men, and he will try too kill the master builder, therefor master K, will no longer want to speak with you, after he goes though such an awful experience, so make sure you don’t tell him he’s safe unless you kill the assassin unless you want to kick some ass at camp. Or watch the guards slaughter him!
