One of the defining features of Kingdom Come:Deliverance is that there are a lot of activities you can do apart from the main quests. While this is certainly a welcome feature,it’s also possible that new players might also feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of it. So in this video,I’ll walk you through several essential tasks that will make the game much more accessible afterwards. Kingdom Come:Deliverance is a medieval rpg game set in Bohemia at 1403,developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver.

Getting Mutt with you when you go hunting is a must. Plus you can brew Saviour schnapps without even knowing how to read . There's plenty of belladona 200m past the Inn by the training arena in Rattay if you follow the path on the left until you reach a wall that separates 2 fields.
Add wine and 1 nettle to the cauldron. Pull the bellow 5 times, grind 2 belladona and add it to the cauldron when stops boiling ,no need to wait for the fire to go off, then pull the bellow twice, count to 10 and grab a phial . voila! You get 3 Saviour schnapps for the price of 1 even with Alchemy at level 0.

If you are playing the Royal edition, be sure to talk to Theresa at the Rattay Mill to pick up Mutt, the companion dog.
Hunting, Fighting and Searching. Your canine friend would help you in your journey. Once you learn the "Seek" perk, you dog would Bark whenever an interesting site or buried treasure is nearby and he will lead you there.

If you don't mind completing her questline, she gives you a very good Skalitz Shield at the end of it, keep in mind that it has a minimum requirement of 4 Strength to use efficiently, which normally isn't a problem, but in Hardcore Mode, the Nightmare perk will give you trouble in the beginning

3:38 It's not true that Captain Bernard does not train you any further unless you've done the patrol with Nightingale. He only sends you to the Rathaus where you are told to meet up with Nightingale in the afternoon and grab some kit from the armoury. Once you've spoken to the Bailiff, you can go back to Bernard for further training and then go back to meet Nightingale afterwards. That way you can learn Combos and Master strikes before going on patrol. That helps a lot in the fight against the Cumans after the hunting trip.

I always walk next to Capon. It is more natural, more lore-friendly, and in my mind it might push thoughts like "if he had a horse I wouldn't get captured" into Capon's mind as well. Strengthens the bon afterwards. The whole point of this game is to overcome your humble beginning so being a bright talented peasant at the start is just perfect. And it is also an important lesson and punishment for Henry too, a lesson about knowing boundaries and proper behavior toward nobles.

I feel it's a bit cheesy to use the Talmberg armor. I cannot help but feel they would have had him return it, considering how expensive armor was and the fact that he straight up stole it. I use this to give Henry a makeshift excuse to head to Talmberg and start Lady Stephanie's quest. Something along the lines of, "You can get kitted up at the armory, but first take back those arms you stole from Talmberg." Once you start Stephanie's quest, you can get several other side quests done along the way in Uzhitz, Rattay, Ledetchko, and Sasau as well as a quest from Divish in Talmberg. You don't really need a horse, especially if you are using regular mode with the fast travel options, but if you want one, the roan from Stephanie's Quest can be used to get around while doing all the side quests. Then, you can get Pebbles once you progress along the main campaign. To be honest, too, I feel that the scene where Henry has to walk along while Hans rides adds to the feel of the storyline.
I feel the same way about carrying multiple weapons, armors, etc. I have found that immersion is better preserved when you do not allow Henry to carry more than a real person would be able to carry at any given moment, which is really going to be whatever he can wear, one melee weapon and maybe a bow (that is already pushing it, realistically), and things that would fit in a pouch and/or belt holster like coins, keys, and lockpicks. I don't allow him to carry food around with him aside from maybe a single rabbit or fish that he can carry to the nearest fire pit. Otherwise, he just eats whenever he buys or finds it. Then, once he gets a horse, I might have him store some things in the saddlebags, but there is still a realistic limit to that. Some books, maybe some clothing, a single weapon or so, perhaps some food. Not multiple suits of armor, etc. though.
These are just how I play, but keeping things more realistic does make the game more enjoyable in my experience.

The game has it's flaws but overall it's a work of genius. There's no need to get a 'perfect' start at all, I recommend that you try to roleplay it as much as possible to get the most from it. "Wait, what Talmberg quest wants you to steal stuff from guards?"
When you are at Talmberg and want to leave to go bury your parents. If you talk to the gate guard and pass an easy speech check, he'll suggest you disguise yourself as a guard so he can pretend he didn't notice and let you go. You are then prompted to go and steal a Talmberg guard kit from the armoury.
"Also, at what point did you pick up that sword at the 1:18 mark?"
Right after leaving Talmberg and find your way to Skalitz. You'll see the Skalitz bailiff's body near the entrance.

It's powergaming, which is a bit cheesy. If you gamble the money away that was supposed to be used for charcoal, you can kinda justify picking a bunch of nettles to sell, but that's about as far as you can get without throwing off realism. I always thought there should be a "Flowers for Bianca" quest or something like that to introduce herbalism in the intro part, but it is what it is. The game has several areas where I feel a few more side quests could have been added in.
Training before meeting Nightingale can be done without exploits by fighting Kunesh upon seeing him in Rattay and fighting the Skalitz refugees in the "Do Me a Favor - Punch Me!" quest. Won't give you sword skill, but it will potentially improve warfare, defense, and agility.

With a horse, Henry rushes in after Hans and you're in the middle of a melee fight from then on.

Around 8 in the morning til evening he will be at the training yard right outside the upper castle. You can talk to him about more advanced training and by the end he will teach you master strokes. You can also spar with him early on with training weapons. Sense you don't lose health, you will be able to train for hours on end. Good way to boost your stats and skills and lets you practice new combos, much better than paying for individual lessons for sure, only one I'd recommend is defense, the higher it is the quicker you can block and give you more of a gap for master strokes.

if you wanna know how to beat everyone in this game just go for face stabs, and keep spamming them.

      it was on kickstarter.
it was never marketed much as it was made by indie studio.

@@DerEchteBold yeah didn't think so right as I finished that thing with Hans I grinded for the tourney and the rest of the game was a breeze ngl. Not sure what's the rage on the combat for it's genuinely fun. Probably from people who came from games like fallout where you just spam left click and disconnect your brain.

Well, it sure is lacking in many areas and the combat coud've been massively improved but it's still the best type of system, where you can actually learn it and react to the opponent.
Overall, despite of the shortcomings it's easily the best open world game ever.
Witcher 3 is one that highly disappointed me, couldn't get into it because of the combat being so random and boring, probably shouldn't have started it after this.

@@DerEchteBold definitely, you put it very well. The combat can be. A little janky and ai doesn't deal very well with obstructing objects sometimes, as well as some problematic combos but other than that it's actually creative and rewarding. It takes a different kind of skill than the same aim and move mouse that 99% of games do.

I did not watch this video - I don't need to be told what I should do first!
Kingdom Come Deliverance | Things You Should Do First Before Anything Else:
1 Do not watch this video!
2 Play the game how you like, within the limits of the game.
3 Do not be a puppet and be told what you should do. It is your game, play your own way.
4 Do things in the game, within the game limits, how you want to do them. In the order you want to do them.
4 After you have finished playing the game, your own way, then watch this video, if you would like to watch an absurd video. That is condescending and treats new players like idiots. That are not capable of doing things themselves.
