- Part 1 of my +6" High clearance long travel build! More to come in the next video and lots of testing to do before it's ready to really shred, but everything is looking great so far. Running roughly 4" suspension lift with 2" body lift on 37s. Sitting 17" wider than factory at the sidewalls and almost 2.5x the travel.

Finally an actual DIY video from scratch and not just bolt on!
CZcams needs more content like this. Keep it up bro!
Thank you!
Awesome video man! I've been planning on doing this to my 3rd gen, after coming across your channel I'm 100% sold! Thank you for the inspiration 😎🤙
I love this build man!! I want to go long travel with mine. I can’t wait to heal up so I can finish up my build!
Nice job dude.....not the first 6 over 4wd kit tho....solo motorsports has had a kit for a few years...and I built my 4wd 6 over J arm kit 4 years ago...still right on man! Glad to see people still makin it happen in thier garage
Any info on yours??
Absolutely love this thing. Found it today on insta.
Thing is just an absolute animal.
Keep grinding dude!
Thank you, hope to make some new content for you guys very soon
The one thing I can say there very well built, extra strong, and bulletproof . The stock frame will definitely give before anything thats being added. You do a killer job man like the video . I modify a lot of things my self so what your doing is a lot further. After my last lift I’ve looked at it and said why didn’t I just take 3 inches out of the strut tower and put a leveling block in and that way I wouldn’t have to modified my top a arm ball joint angle then reinforce it . I just cut the bottom side kept bending it till the ball joint looked right . Being from West Virginia an in the coal mines I heated a roof bolt (the middle peace minus the head and threads) placed it up both sides an around the ball joint area roll was at just added peace’s to make the top a arm strong again . I have a 04 4Runner had a 04 Tacoma wrecked it but I’m going out more on this 4 runner I wanna build the engine I got 4.0 and just got another 04 for parts frames bad came from Ohio we’re the salt in the winter killed it . I’ll keep checking all your work out Toyota I’m loving it !
This. Video kicks AZZ,,,and the arms are looking sick,,,keep up the good work,,,can’t wait for some of the other vids,,,
Ill lend my 2011 tundra 4x4 for you to build!!! Haa would be great. Deff happy i found this page.
Sick custom made 6 in long travel control arms bad ass bro
You’re one smart brah hope the hard hard work pays off and nothing breaks I’m the person who asked about the 2in body lift
Man that pipe looks good in that control arm axle notch super clean bro @12:24
You have given me so many ideas!! Love you video. Keep it coming!
Thank you!
Can't wait till this channel blows up
This is sweet and so awesome that it’s still 4wd
Fantastic work. I'd love a set of these on my FJ cruiser
Oh shit! Nice build on the LT.
So glad you doing more videos.
Every Wednesday 🤘
Dude! That thing will be a trophy truck. 🤘🏼😎
Damn this channel is going to blow up! You're awesome man!
Thanks!
@@FILTHY4R any progress lately?
@@lk6912 Uhhh yeah, just not posted yet haha All on my old phone
First video I’m seeing of yours and I’m couldn’t hit subscribe fast enough. Keep up the good work man! Watch out for that music in the background for when you start to monetize your videos 👍
Nice custom Knuckle work
Nice work!
Man I would love to learn how to design and build your own Long Travel LCA
You got a new Sub, I’m your 555 subscriber! keep up the good work.
Came out Dope Bro
Awesome bro 😎
Subbed! Would love to see you go through the CAD design process!! Did you build on SolidWorks or Fusion 360? I'm super curious about the design and how you built it to have tabs/slots that fit together.
FUCKING SICK!!! And here I was thinking my long travel 4Runner was rad. This shit is next level dude!! Once you're done post up some hardcore offroad footage! Stoked!!
New setup is going to be stupid lol Stay tuned
I follow you on IG and just randomly came across your channel, I’m hoping you make many more videos super dope!
Thanks! I'm working on it
I just wanted to say it’s nice to finally see someone with the guard still on their grinder
I think my cutting discs are grinding discs occasionally, so I'm protecting me from myself
keep it up bro. love this. super helpful. I'm trying to ground up my own and this was a godsend. what programs are you using for design? I'm a noob but I'm trying to do this right.
Lookin to do this for my Jeep Patriot
Decent man, subbed
So intimidating I really really want to build something like this for my 91 S10 blazer but man that is an absolute ton of fab work
Agreed
mmm(>kook ï
can you buy like a junkyard truck? I'm thinking on doing that, and learn how to build things, and then apply to my vehicle
@@Pathfinding-earth I have a spare parts S10 that I would use to fit things and practice on
Nice man!!!
Jesus Christ the music came on so hard i just about had a heart attack.
Glad you enjoyed haha it was too loud
I NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!
This is sick setup, nice work. Do you have any content for how you made the fiberglass hood and rear flares?
I do have some, and may post it in a few weeks
I've got a 4th gen 4runner that I kinda want to do this to but with hydraulic assist suspension to make it capable of road travel to baja mode with the flick of a switch
Stay tuned you are going to be blown away by the new setup going on. Unlike any other IFS I have seen yet. No guarantee it's going to work great but it's looking pretty good so far
Dude this is so savage, very nice fabrication work. I like seeing the issues and the whole process of r&d. I want to completely redesign the front end of my nissan hard body and maybe build toyota style arms with my tube bender. im curious how you figure out the geometry? Do i just stretch everything out a few inches horizontally?
I built two kits for my 06 pathfinder using factory arms one is 4inches wider per side the other kit was 7inches wider per side all depends on what you want to do..Id recommend titan lowers and aftermarket uppers and stay 3inch wider so you can use titan swap axles otherwise your going to start spending money.. he doesn't talk about the spring rate changes he had to make on his shocks to get this to work.. its not as easy as it seems ..
Finally your back!!!!!yes thank you
Man I need to get with you for some of the stuff on my first gen Cummins long travel suspension build
Does that have ifs?
@@kadekast8814 yes it does
Sick setup! Do you have any info/tips for a rear shock relocation and long travel setup for GX/4th gen?
If you don't have a body lift you are either going to have to beat it for a couple hours or cut to go up. Stance is going to help get the tires out away from the frame a lot!
Pretty impressive! How did you learn to do all this? I want a runner now!
What computer programs are you running for your cnc plasma? I have recently got my table and wana take a crack at longtravel arms. Good work bro looks sweet
I design LT arms so shoot me a message if you're interested in building some
Take my money!
Awesome
Dude, this is nuts. I dont suppose this would fit on a second gen Tacoma? I’d be in the market for a WIY kit
It definitely would and may have a 4.5 kit done in 2 weeks
I wanna build a long travel kit on my own for my montero sport, but I don't know how to do cad design and I don't have a laser cutter. What tips would you suggest or things you'd advise me to do while designing and what materials should I use??
Start designing it based on the factory arm and then improve the design until you're happy with it. Then do that again and again until everything is as good as you think you can get it. Remember that triangles will always be on of the strongest shapes, so creating a bunch of 2D and 3D triangle structures will reduce weight while adding strength. I'll be posting another video of the new arms in about a month!
🔥🔥
Dang man, how much travel do you get from that?
Could i buy one of these from you and would it work on a 1990 pickup
“A little bit messy”
6:50 - “say less”
Man do you sell these?
Or even a finished product CNC file
What cad program do you use I am thinking about building a kit for my 2000 tundra 4wd just a simple 3.5 so I don’t hAve to build custom cvs
Solidworks and Fusion
I’m just curious, did you also move the tire forward?
1.5" forward
Do you make these 6 inch over long travel control arms in kits for sale for others to make weld up there own?
I may if enough people are interested 👍
@@FILTHY4R that would be dope Bro been following you on instagram for awhile didn't even know ya had a youtube till the suggestion popped up
What's the thickness of the metal your using,it looks 3/16 or maybe 1/4 but don't think it's guarter
3/16"
Are you selling the kits?
just some feedback, the sound was really bad, just very low most of the video and the music then very loud all of the sudden , if u can maybe invest a better mic of just try finding the issue with the voice audio been so low cuz honestly the Content its awesome but i can see the audio issues making viewers change to some other video, like i said its just some feedback so u can make improve on ur videos mate.
That was the first impression..though something was wrong with my phone
How much weight difference is there between the stock and the long travel arms?
about 15 lbs
home made lamo gtfo here lol. looks good man. u gave me hope for a sec then i was like wtf i have a lot of shit in my garage. i dont have a plasma cutter ahaha and none of my 3d printers will do this
Well that part isn't, but that's not hard to do! I have files for getting things cut by someone else and then everything else is garage build 🤷♀️
Great info and demonstration, but that audio level explosion at 11:00 F my eardrums and headphones....
Only critique I have right away is the dialogue is wayyyy too quiet. The music was loud so I turned it down then i couldn't hear what you were saying cause it was too quiet. What editor do you use?
do you share or sell the cad files brother?
Go more in depth this is awesome
Would you make a set for a first gen 4 runner????
Designing some right now!
You think i could adapt this kit for a first gen 4runner?
Just started on the 1st gen design today!
Where is part 2?
If your recording is too quiet, make sure to lower the music volume too. CZcams actually do a bit of normalization so if the whole video is very quiet youtube will boost the volume on the whole video. But if the music is louder than anything else, the normalization often turn down the volume on the whole video, making your voice even quieter.
How much would you charge me to build a set of s10 blazer long travel IFS with torsion bar key holes?
Unfortunately I would have to completely design everything, cut, and weld it all together with very limited access to a measurement vehicle. I'd do it for $3000
@@FILTHY4R I could drop it off.
What did you do with your old LT? Message me please
Give your audio guy a raise
He's doing $2/hour work for sure
6 inches per side or 6inches overall?
Per side! New setup is also +6, but completely different. Video will be up this month
Where can we download the build plans?
Email me at filthy4r@gmail.com
What thickness and grade of metal did you use?
3/16"
@@FILTHY4R standard steal (i think 1060) or chormoly?
Can you please make another one. :-)
Making another right now!.... For me 😉😉
How much for a set? I need these
Depends on what you want. Email me filthy4r@gmail.com
Can u help me do mine 00 4 runner u can mKe a vedio out of it please

Uhhhh the video of my new setup is coming soon!

Prototype for tundra 5.7 lower control arms i would run them for you
I'd consider it 🤔
@@FILTHY4R My truck is 2017 Tundra on a 7inch lift on 37 tires I have fox 2.5 coilovers and Icon billet upper control arms pretty tight truck

Have you tried getting a hat that fits your head?
lmao most do, but some don't
Hey can u make me mine for my truck
Sell me a set for my first Gen 4runner.
This video would be great if i could hear a single word you are saying, and if the music wasn't 10 times louder than the talking. Shame, because it looks really interesting
I want to watch but i cant hear you speaking. Poor sound quality. I check back later.
Mike needs Warrensvoice, Mike is a WICKED GOOD GUITARIST but imo he does have the voice nor the range. I mean NO disrespect. miss T.P. every time I hear em,
Did this nigga really say four wheel drive
Quit representing this Yota Mafia or you guys will get sued Yota Mafia and 4Runner Mafia were created in Arizona in 1988 so piss off. Quit. Printing these hats shirts and decals you do not own the copyrights and name!! We will be in contact...soon...👍
Not my company lmao but I'm definitely wanting to see the copyright for this if you or someone you know owns it
