Meeting with the Shadow of Will Graham [AU] (Split + Black Swan inspo)

Disclaimer: I researched a couple things, I'm not an expert since I don't have studies in psychology/psychiatry so the topics are pure fiction for entertainment purposes.
Dissociative identity disorder: The person is under the control of two distinct identities alternately, but they may act similarly. Jung introduced the concept of the "shadow" as an unconscious part of the psyche that contains the repressed, unknown or unwanted aspects of oneself.
Individuation is a psychological concept that refers to the process that seeks the realization of the individual as a unique and authentic being, integrating conscious and unconscious aspects of the personality (balance between opposites). This process involves self-knowledge, acceptance of one's shadow and the development of a more complete/balanced identity.
Side notes 🎭
• The object that identifies an identity is reflected in the glasses that Will wears while the "other Will" likes to dress well and looks elegant, is more confident, etc.
• The way to take control isn't possessive, that is to say: Will CHOOSES to give up power unconsciously since the situation surpasses him and he's at the limit (under pressure).
• The "other Will" had only partial control of the body while Will slept. Slowly takes control of actions of the conscious Will.
• In this AU the "other Will" appears to play with Hannibal, being an accomplice (he won't go to jail). I opted for this symbolic internal prison where Will stays as a spectator.
* The light psychotherapy was also accompanied by the same sound of Will's alarm to destabilize him in dreams, having direct contact with the unconscious and conscious (a vulnerable middle point).
• Will eventually "recovers" and is a new version with both identities integrated.
• He probably would have been diagnosed with sociative identity disorder. What he "suffers from" doesn't quite fit in this concept because there are "no studies" of that.
• In the end the scenes go fast and the game doesn't take into account your choices because the player becomes a spectator, just like Will.
• Hannibal loves Will and the "other Will".
• Will managed to achieve authenticity with Hannibal. They are disgustingly in love as always ! (canon).
