If you choose the more caring dialogue choice (careful, too close to the edge), the girl will smile at you reassuringly before starting to transform.
This is really sad
it broke my heart even more when she turned smiled and then transformed and the start fight animation started
Its crazy how one of the hardest fights in the game is with just the traces of what gro goroth left behind. imagine struggling to fight whats essentially someones fart cloud
with 4 party member (Cahara, D'arce, Legarde, Ragnvaldr) + 2 white angel soul, it's REALLY easy
@@unnoobsurosu6006 That's the point of the game. If you can fight it with that team, you are deserved it. Your knowledge or luck or both is stacked to the roof.
God of ultraviolence ending is the best one, basically Guts
The most satisfying ending is probably S despite A being the good one apparently
not really a good one, but a canon one
and most of the endings are canon ngl
@@hainguyn948 S ending is canon for everyone except for cahara I believe, which is ending A
@@enriquethelegendary4724 While the dev hasn't confirmed it (I think) it is very heavily implied to be exactly what you said from the details on the second game
@@enriquethelegendary4724maybe he ended up returning into the dungeon after S ending?
Ragnvaldr S ending: Giga chad monster slayer
Darce S ending: Simp conpleted quest
Cahara S ending: Finally gets to live a good life with his wife
Enki S ending: Refuses godhood and becomes all-knowing
SIR GIDEON OFNIR
@@joachimchicot5543 THE ALL KNOWING!
Not exactly a good life when you know the rest of your days will be in paranoia
I appreciate the hard work that went into getting all the endings! Hopefully you didn’t get PTSD from playing this game or a fear of Lovecraftian monsters.
Haha thanks man I appreciate it! It was actually a lot of fun to get all the endings, but very annoying on the harder difficulties 😅
I hope you not holding a kitchen knife and looking at the shadows at the corner of the room amd stayed all night
I wish you well 😅
Imagine if they turn this into an anime, that would be Berserk v 2.0
Imagine if not
We already have berserk, alooooot of this stuff is ripped right from it with a lot less depth.
@@Tortuga2223a I'd argue that combining the stuff with Termina it somewhat matches the depth of Berserk
@@Tortuga2223a well the huge but huge difference is that in Fear and Hunger you are just a NPC that you are just a small "fry" on the big scheme of things. While in Berserk since we follow the BLACKSWORDSMAN !
Knowing how terrible is CGI in Berserk I'd prefer not turning it into an anime
Every characters canon ending is s except for cahara cause in his ending it said he was being watched meaning he probibly died which mean ending a is his canon ending
Remember, my kids, ending A os the good ending.
why?
Are any of them really "good"?
@@rrudeljr
Well, there's the Enki S ending, he achieved enlightenment trough studying all the knowledge at hand.
That would be the most benevolent one.
The outlander becomes guts with moonless by his side destroying most of the darkness and then has a bloodline of warriors fight the darkness. That seems like a win to me and it’s a cannon ending like Enki
@xavierpeterson7139 Enki, D'arce and Ragnvaldyrs S endings are all cannon but unfortunately Caharas cannon ending is the god of fear and hunger where he is the only one present to fight the girl and dies alone leaving his lover and child
Ragnvaldr S Ending: Becomes an absolute legend a hunter of monsters and evil
Enki S Ending: he will live long and knows stuff and also looks like a fucking femboy on artwork
Darce S Ending: Simp
Cahara S Ending: He managed to live a good life with his wife and kids a life full of riches even if the darkness still haunted and awaited him
and almost all of them are canon! i think 5 of the endings actually canonically happen. the first three s endings you mentioned, and A and B. since in the future theres a god of fear and hunger, and in the future nas rah is burnt.
and also some form of ending c probably hapenned since legarde was alive
@@Tomzin20 yeah as well as enki ending since you can find his books and ragnvaldr too since people say that monsters became fairy tails since ragnvaldr decided to end almost each single one, Nas Rah definitely burned Cahara might be non canon and he brought the girl to the indie of god of the depths and she became the god of fear and hunger
Can we agree ending C is the best when we don't want to play on hard mode because we suck?
When I realize that Happy ending isn't "Happy" ending
Ending C-2 The Prophecy gives me heavy Berserk vibes in how it parallels how Griffith returns to Midland in a physical form to wage a war that he’s basically controlling like the writer of his own story and find his own kingdom.
The god of ultra violence has a name
The Doom Slayer
basically made in abyss in a more dark turn
Thought I was the only one who saw a little similarity w Made in abyss
(20:55) "Choosing the right side of the coin at every possible turn". Le'Garde became so powerful he started to cheat the coin toss.
Sooo, basically its either you
die in it.
somehow make it out but go insane as the time passes
you thought you made it out but actually didn't?
you never left and accepted your fate
Kill every monstrosities you come a cross everywhere
Become a warmongerer
Become extremely rich and somehow make it, but still now that the darkness at some point will come for and get you back
basically HP Lovecraft + Berserk
Hi, I'm still new to Funger fandom. Your channel is one of those to reel me in. I have question, why didn't you use Cahara? Asking as a non-player and new to franchise. Thanks!
Good video 👍
Thanks mate! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😃
I have a headcanon ending called E-II where you actually managed to escape and you all lived as a happy but really traumatized family!
I really wish you could leave with the little girl and give her a happy family, ONE THAT IS NOT OBSESED WITH GODHOOD.
29:50
Elite Guard just chilling, no point doing anything while in a cutscene, lol.
It's heartshattering knowing Cahara's S ending is just called "Happy Ending".
I love enki ending soo much dude is majestic.
woah this was awesome
Every ending could be it’s own game I love it!
I think it's cool that Cahara, my favorite character, got the worst ending canonically 😃🤙
And the little girl (another character I love) lost consciousness and turned into whatever that was ☺
Well....she kind of helped humanity evolve in a way, so...
We don't know whic ending Cahara got.
It's either ending A or ending S
Why woul we have a mentioning about a guy who just escaped and lived a rich life HUNDREDS YEARS later
You forgot that LITERALLY EVERYONE could make the girl to turn into a God of Fear & Hunger it's not limited to only main characters
@@jeti9143 Actually, in Termina it is confirmed that Enki's and Ragnvaldr S endings are canon, but also when applying rot to Le'garde you see his bizarre appearance from D'arce S ending, so it could be extremely possible that D'arce's S ending happened and Le'garde achieved godhood by other means. This singles out Cahara as the probable unfortunate one to cause the birth of the God of Fear and Hunger (which is also in Termina). I don't think it was a random person who caused the creation of the Fear and Hunger God, I feel like it MUST have been one of the 4 main characters.
@@rodrigofaro1118 what about pocketcat?
I would be satisfied with ending E..
Im ready to go home 😅
Def one of the better ones but still bad in general, you either didnt even escape or have severe ptsd. Hell, for most of the characters there isnt much else other than the dungeon, Cahara will have to do some other dirty jobs, Darce will still miss legarde for a long time, Enki will probably sacrifice himself since thats what he wanted to do before, and Ragnvaldr doesnt have any person to return to
i like that ending A ,C (partially) and all S endings except cahara are canon
i enjoyed this 👍
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it! I have a lot of great videos planned :)
is the boss from Ending D - New God the Outlander when he transforms?
Yes, that's his New God version, all of the characters have a New God form for this ending. I'm planning a video that shows all of them.
@@Omni_World this is the first time i've seen the outlander's new god form. I thought this was a new boss for a second.
lil factoid Ending A is what Cannonically happens to Cahara (the mercenary)
the outlander (Ragnvaldr) and the knight (D'arce) get their unique S endings
and the Dark Priest (Enki) becomes a new god
no, Enki rejected godhood
Do the different options in ending B and D change something?
ultra violence is a good ending.
Berserk but you're the side character
i don’t think side characters in berserk are out here being called “the god of ultra violence” or achieving enlightenment
I wish they make movie of this game is so horror
This game gives me vibes of everything its hopeless, like some super dark religion deep web shit
Can you kill all gods or only one per play ? Like if i kill the big squid is the game done or can i continue killing the other ?
You can kill multiple gods in a single play but certain Gods end the game once you kill it
The fights with the yellow king, gro-gorath, and funger are all game endings. All other gods are open season afaik.
S ending is goated. Shame creator realized all the work for multiple endings and settle on 3 for the sequel :/
Is ending E consider a good ending? Since the girl survive
No. The spirit of a god resides dormant inside of her. Thats why that ending loops to “escape?” The old gods are gone and no one ascended to become the next god, the world will probably descend into chaos.
my sanity
Can someone explain Ending E?
What happens if you say no to grogo roths question?
still shows his true form
God of ultraviolence... Ultrakill?
I think only ending A, C ii and Enkis S are canon
All character's S endings are canon (which we know from Fear and Hunger 2: Termina)
Cahara unfortunally ends up with the S ending. He was alone with the girl and was the one who bought her to the altar of darkness, where she turned into the God of fear and hunger.
Ragnvaldr found the artefact he was searching. He lateron took moonless with him, and the miasma sword. He slaid all the monsters, which is why people in termina belive monsterd are only legends. Befor he passed away, he stabbed moonless with the miasma sword, so she would make sure nobody will ever get to wield this sword.
Idk much about D'arce 's S ending and what changed in termina.
And Enki simply spent eternity in the library and studied the older one's knowledge.
I have a question .. who among these characters canonically survived to fear and hunger 2??
None. 2 takes place hundreds of years after 1. This is the medieval ages after all.
@@manjordian just after the events of 1.. who survives? I kinda hope the girl survived in the canon..
She doesn’t survive in any of the endings 😭 apart from being the god of fear and hunger which is canon
@@tomoyakun9294uhh i think Ragnvaldr, Enki and D'arce survived the dungeons, Cahara died trying to fight the God of Fear and Hunger(The Girl), but the only character that's still alive in F&H2 is Moonless, it grow up and became a big ass wolf, although i think she's the ally of a Ragnvaldr descendant(srry if i wrote smth bad i don't speak english too good xd)
@@Dracox_Knight you English is fine 😁 thank you for answering me
Only ending A and S sound good
Can someone tell me why the yellow king ending wasn’t good
You could say the Yellow King is... inhumane.
Mostly bad because Le'garde killed all of Ragnvaldr's tribe to get to the dungeons, but it's not necessarily a bad ending, most of the endings have positives and negatives
Intersting defenition of "happy ending" -> *you are traumatisted for life anyway bye bye!*
It reminds me of Bloodborne, where the good ending... I think... is the one where you turn into a baby space squid.
Did you really escape in ending E?
What happens if you get an S ending as a marriage?
Its not possible
I don't care what the lore says. The girl survived and had a happy life while either being an apprentice of enki or an adpotive child of cahara. God of fear & hunger? Fuck no, she's a happy innocent girl that has friends and a happy future waiting for her.
Zkxi!😬
Nah it's okay i didn't want to read any dialog anyways
... Do you mean like you can't keep up with it? Because what.
Schizo ahh comment lol
What?
Just pause?
Are you incapable of just pausing the video?
Ending a is trash
You are a trash
You are a trash
You are a trash
@@botandrew1Your mom's car
Thanks, also all the ending is stupid… why you alway had ptsd after all? In real life people who pass the nightmare sometime have a stronger mind, beautiful mind, or enlightenment… again all the ending is stupid and not depth at all
spend a good amount of time inside a torturous, unforgiving dungeon where you always have to fight to death and I guarantee you will NOT have a stronger beautiful mind filled with enlightenment
I mean sometimes, but a good amount of people like soldiers get ptsd from their experiences.
Lovecraft style, that's all
The dungeon is supernaturally attacking your mind through every second you stand inside it. Of course psychological scarring is pretty much guaranteed. This is Lovecraftian horror; things attacking your sanity is a staple of the genre.
What I like is that for all intent and purpose, Enki became a far more humane, and grounded Nas'hrah.
It wouldn't be surprising to me if there is ever a Fear and Hunger game where we get to meet him in the future. :)
