- Welcome back to The Big Dan Show, today we move over to one of my all time favorite boat launch locations, navy point in pensacola florida. This place is chaos with no rules. Enjoy. #TheBigDanShow #InTooDeep #boatrampfails

Standing in front of a power loading pontoon boat is a great way to get folded backwards like a lawn chair and pinned under water kids!
Especially a seadoo switch, its hard to steer a jet boat at idle.
I've laughed more at your videos than I probably should. People amaze me sometimes. Keep up the good work
Well I launched and loaded my boat for the first time today, and it went perfect! I was so freaking nervous but thanks to you, I was not #InTooDeep! It was even pretty windy!
Instant sub. Why have I been missing this? lol
Never new how fun it is at a boat ramp. Last week went to a local boat ramp, so enjoyably 😅
Yes it had it’s peak of Googans shortly after Covid hit. So many new shiny boats and clueless owners I stopped using that lake for boating, just comical entertainment
New is knew watch your English
Just when I thought I knew all there was to know about launching and trailing I watch another Big Dan lesson on what to do and not to do and learn something new. Thanks for the classes Big Dan!!!
Happy to help!
3:09 "here they come" 😂
It's going to be a great day with all the two strokes and no need to worry about mosquitoes.
The way they handle their lines you would think they are either at a rodeo or they're trying to fly a 6,000 lb kite....lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣😜
thank you for getting all these videos out the content is 👌 keep up the good work #intoodeep
I bet that guy can swim really well with a backpack!
Yeah face down LOL
Don't have a boat and probably never will but I sure do know what not to do with loading and unloading. Sometimes it looks like people can't back up but those little jet ski trailers are not easy, and with most vehicles you can't see the trailer till its hanging way to far out. I give them lots of grace. those guide poles sticking up help a lot.
No doubt! Welcome to the Channel
Here on lunch break and have to say I get much satisfaction out of watching these. Always good for an ego boost for my launch and retrieval habits. 👍😆
3:47 tin better ya‼️👌
I wear suspenders for that very reason, my pant never falls down either. Then I have two hands to work with too.
Shingles?? Watch 'em capsize - LOL
If you haven't taught me anything, it's IN TOO DEEP! Great videos!
@@TheBigDanShow Im a new jet ski owner, and the tips about how deep to put a trailer made my life a lot easier.
Hey there Big Dan i dont have a boat but i love your videos. From what i see they need to have a class for newbies on how to drive a dam trailer. I had to learn early helping my grandfathers ranch its easy. Subbed BTW!
Thanks friend! Welcome to the family
That SH needs to be renamed to MB for the Man Bun crew.
@3:19 Hillbillies need some urgent care here.
The trailer's wheels gonna pop.
Thanks Dan!!!
I don’t understand why people get in the water to load a boat 😮. I was raised with boats & have had several over 60 years of boating..never got in the water to load ! Crazy!! 🤷🏻♀️
I would get my boat up perfectly at the bow, but I sometimes had trouble centering the stern, meaning I would hop in the water to manually do it while the driver pulls up.
Adjusting my bunks solved the issue. Now I can "dry" load perfectly.
Regular folks just trying to have fun.
Like the new intro to the videos and it kills me all the people up there with boats going into deep. 😂
God!! That smokey first boat is a familiar scene when I was Living at the Cape. Put a little extra oil in it, it will help the life expectancy of my motor. Get out to sea 5 knots and WHAM!! It happens, the plugs fowl and motor shits the bed. It is to laugh !!
Uh oh, Gators 🐊
I’ll bet that boaters in the UK don’t have this much trouble. They are used to driving from the right side.
Lol
13:05 I bet Sea-Doo's engineers are the world's best at idiot-proofing their designs. The things those jets have to go through...
The roof looks like it would play hell in the wind?
Of all these boat ramp videos and fancy expensive boats, I don't see any with the automatic latch on the trailers. Back in the late 80s and 90s I had an auto latch that locked onto the eye, when I drove up onto the trailer. No need to climb out front or get in the water and hook the trailer winch hook.
👍🤙
Look like that roof on that boat was cargatted steel 😂😂😂😂
Ive had a Sea-Doo switch for about 6 months now. Never once have I had even the slightest trouble at the ramp. Even in high winds while solo. Blows my mind how many people struggle to load them.
I have never driven one myself, but id imagine they behave just like a seadoo pwc? In that case, I cant imagine anything easier to manouver.
Like all things ,Knowledge helps, what to Do
PLUS What NOT TO DO....
These boaters are on still water, my experience is Ocean, beach launch into surf..
Cheers and thanks for the Laughs ..
Newb Zealand here...
While watching, I was trying to visualize how to make a twin engine boat be turned independently for precise maneuvering while docking? ;-)
🤪
Wondering if I’ll see anyone I know 😂😂😂 I know this boat launch well!!
😂😂 keep watching I’m sure you will
love watching the local boat failures... besides #intoodeep, one of the biggest fails I see is not utilizing that center cleat when pulling up to a dock temporarily. I see where everyone thinks they need to do both a bow and stern line when pulling up to a dock short termed. keep it up Big Dan!
You do it right, it's all you need most of the time.
I dont get why so many people think they have to back the trailer that deep.
Nice comments
The struggle is real…😮
They neeeeed helplo
Watching these people getting out on the ocean definitely tells what brand engine is most dependable! Yamaha dominates in salt water!
Seems like the US has the same type of regulation for boating as it does for guns !
Honestly shout out to the police, kinda feel like they did that so the kids would have a story to tell🤣 “we had to jump off the bridge to get away” lmao
Hey Dan.
Why dont you sponsor a " rodeo"?
I'll explain: send out word of a boating launch competition.
How fast and safe you can drop a boat in the water.
Then take the boat out and do one circle , then back on the trailer.
This spectators can come to see how it's done.
Could be a cool thing and maybe a money maker for you.
" The Big Dan Show Trailer Rodeo". 😊
I want one percent. 😊
Haha that’d be sick!
No no thats just the right amount of oil, those old johnson 2 smokers like it 35:1 if you wanna keep it running. She will clean out and not smoke after a got rip.
Like the Intro.
Sometimes stupid boaters will always do crazy things that we can't predict
Entertaining video as usual.
After watching the second crew in the black Ram , I realized y'all were doing it all wrong. You place the boat, then back the trailer under it. Nevermind the water slapping the bottom of the dashboard.
First group, I do not recommend using any vehicle with a CVT transmission/transaxle (Nissan Murano) as a tow vehicle, reguardless of size of load being towed.
Dude standing in the trailer as the Pontoon was approaching has iron like intestinal fortitude, lady had already proven she had little control of that boat
Pontoons are generally difficult anyway, with their very "fore" pivot point, and the jets, without a skeg, makes it worse.
Give er coal !
I heard they are cracking down on those 2 stroke motors
Outlawing them?
I can tell u what that guy I white telling his dad about pulling the lil boat he almost had it the lil Lund boat he doesn't know what to do with a boat I can tell 😂😂😂
Not sure why. Most of the folks prefer to walk their boat on trailer. Drive on. Drive on. My goodness drive on.
I saw a young dude fishing off the dock, and he was wearing a knit hat. WTH? It’s too damn hot!
I continually see folks trying to operate the boat in too short of a distance from the trailer. They do not have enough room to get the boat moving in a straight line onto the trailer!!!
Everyone of these folks backed the trailer in too deep. top of fender 1 inch above water, if set up right that lets the boat beach itself gently.
I’ve never been in a situation where I needed 12 feet of wench strap out to load my boat. Also the seedoo boats are extremely easy to control. One tap on the left trigger and the boat will stay where it is at.
Would it hurt to put a Rutter on the bottom of the jet drive. Maybe those boats would steer a little bit when not under power.
I hear you, but that would somewhat defeat one of the objects of a jet drive, which is shallow draft, right?
Why do they always pull the bow lines so tight that they force the stern out when the come to the dock?
Hey Dan. Where ya gonna be at this weekend?
Gonna be visiting Pensacola area for the long weekend from New Orleans.
the bloke in the cat should learn to centre the helm and just use throttles to steer onto the trailer. so much easier
It amazes me the lack of common sense some people have. I'm lucky I grew up on a lake boating and backing trailers at 13 years old.
Hey...I've seen a bunch of your videos....what indont understand is why are people fishing off at the boat launch?? Don't fish steer clear of propellers, noise, people, etc.?
They think they can still catch something. Only thing I’ve seen caught from people at the ramp is a Sail Cat 🤣
It's not, as your title suggests, that the ramp has no rules but, rather, that most of the people using it have no common sense.
Ya Gotzz to have Lotzz of lubrication....in LIFE..... or that friction will burn ya up!! Don't be that person, get well lubed....
Cruiser Captain. Prime example of your typical all about me Credit Card Captain. Over 18 minutes at the dock while taking up both lanes with the trailer. Trailer driver could have easily left one lane open instead of taking the center. Next, unloading, taking gunning those engines that much was uncalled for causing undue wash for the other boats around and disturbing the underwater vegetation and probably washing out the end of the ramp. Good example of having money to have the equipment but not the skill to operate or show respect for others around you.
And for those naysayers claiming I'm just another jealous wannabe, I have been boating since 1962 and currently run a 42 ft. paid for SeaRay Sundancer.
Ya got me Hooked Big Dan!! 😁,lmao! From Newfoundland Canada, polar bear and moose country!! My kids can trailer boats better than most on here😅! My youngest was 5 year old and putting our boat on a trailer!! 😊.with a 300 on the ass end!
Welcome to the Channel! Love to hear that!
New boaters need to be required to watch this channel before being able to launch there boat. On second hand that's to boring to watch.
😂 gotta learn like we all did
WTF at 10:36 the dude fishing on the dock is wearing some sort of animal hood/mask.
At 8:40, Wearing heavy pants like a punk gangster showing your butt when performing captains duties is the stupidest thing I have evr seen. Imagine this: He falls into the water, the pants fall down around his ankles, NOW HE CAN'T SWIM. Darwin drowning award issued.
these are NOT float on trailers
UNLOADING & LOADING BOATS &J SKIIS LEARN WHAT NOT TO DO here at IDIOT boat ramp !!!!!!! Only a few exempt !!!!!
I’d never stand in back or on a trailer when someone is attempting to drive a boat onto it.
Call me a coward but life is short enough without tempting fate!
