In my 47 years of boating, I have seen it all. 3 I have not forgotten, a new ranger bass boat two year old truck went in the Ohio river, a new 24 ft. And truck went in gunterville lake, 3 black boys did not take boat of trailer and tried to make it go. 😵‍💫.
I run bass tournaments for 25 years, and still go fishing, if I can get some one to go with me. I am 82

For sure. I’ve been in a dead battery situation before and had to make it happen. Long as you can get the trailer at proper depth and get boat started on the trailer so the winch can grab it’s not significantly more difficult

Exactly. Also, the boat launch is not damaged. I drive onto my trailer and when the boat stops. I turn the motor off, get out and winch it on the rest of the way. Saves the boat launch, stress on the boat trailer and I get a little exercise in the process.

To fix an uneven boat on a trailer is simple ! Pull up, put the rear straps on the boat and give them slack. Back into the water until you see the boat move and 99.9% of the time it will full it to place once you pull forward again. The best way is to power load, but to many boat owners aren't experienced enough to know that or do it. A half or three fourths wheel well in the water usually is enough on the trailer to power load or even to get the boat in line to be winched on !

Thanks for the interesting videos. I see on video in this and other forums and I hear comment of many folks on here regarding power loading. Most of the boat launch locations in NY state specifically prohibit power loading. Too much damage occurs to boat ramp foundation structure from constant power loading. At monitored locations, power loading against regulations can see you banned from further use of the facilities.

13:35 those aren’t steering issues. It’s a jet boat, it won’t steer at all without thrust!

13:36 if that is a jet drive then that’s even worst having anchor with rope on rear swim platform. I tubbed many nephews behind are family seadoo a 2005 gti i think it was and my nephews got older two of them went tubing while I was at work and sucked the rope up into the jetski and you wanna talk about a dang mess and a pain

That uneven boat on the trailer looked like it was warped or the twisted idk could just be because of the reflection on the water but idk it looked all warped and twisted 😂

It always amazes me people try and load their rigs and every body in the boat goes to the bow.

Where I launch it is very gradual. It is really hard to get too deep without your vehicle being under water.

So much going on... the trailer w/ different sized wheels... bad news especially w/ a heavy boat. That's an accident LQQKin' for a place to happen ! To my way of
thinking, when they allowed incorrect sizing of tires they are being neglectful & it's an added level of being irresponsible on the roadways! I mean that IF they have
something bad go down & someone else is hurt/killed = these people can't say it was an accident b/c they chose to incorrectly fix their tire problem! Not good !

Yeah Big Dan, you've got quite the perch(not the fish) & what could possibly go wrong w/ the anchor being ready to go laying
2 inches away from the water w/ kids on-board? He doesn't have a clue?! Marine Patrol might stop ya for that & more?
