Love these reactions pipers one liners are always amazing ! The painting ep is one of my faves in season 2 i always related to phoebe in the painting ep because i never felt like the smartest, but seeing her use her own smarts to outsmart the warlock was definitely beneficial to me as a child who never had much faith in their intelligence. (never got the inclusion of dan or jenny in season 2 btw lol, but what can you do ) and yes you are right daryll has a nice body I've seen a pic someone posted of him shirtless on twitter n dude has abs its a crime we never saw him shirtless on this show
Leo should've totally gone to the Charmed Ones first, told them there's a demon he needs help with and laid out his plan, Piper would be angry and say, "no, not in my club!" Then Phoebe would turn to her and say, her excitment increasing as she goes, "think about it, Piper, if Dishwalla goes to P3 we'll get a bunch of people that night and it'll promote the club to other people and maybe more bands will want to perform there so it's not so bad, we defeat a demon, save a bunch of girls and put P3 one the map! Three birds with one stone-I mean with one Power of Three! Hehe, three birds, Power of Three... get it? Because there's three of us and there's P3 and-" Prue would interrupt her, "yes, sweetie, we get it." Piper would reluctantly agree and still be upset throughout the episode because Leo is still kinda using them even though that's technically his job and it's also their job to help him.
7:15 It wasn't about Personal Gain, it was about using their powers to deliberately harm an Innocent. Yes dog walker guy was a jerk but he was an Innocent. When they used their power on him (in a non fatal way) it pushed their belief structure to "I can use my power for anything." Here Phoebe is using her power for Personal Gain to BE Smarter. Not harming an Innocent.
@AngieHines exactly! And once he realised that he was in the way of the two, he just kept pushing to be with Piper even though he knew who she wanted, and that just made any sympathy I had for him disappear.
I think one of the show's biggest faults is creating that 'personal gain' rule because BOY were they back and forth with it. I really love your reactions to this show, they are so funny. Hope you two keep enjoying the series.

These two episodes are very representative of the strengths and weaknesses of season 2. Good individual episodes and great harmony between the sisters, but a total lack of direction for the season (where season 1 had the natural common thread of discovery of witchcraft and Andy's investigation into the sisters) and a lot of time wasted on an uninteresting pseudo love triangle.
Im personally not very fond of this season because of the whole Leo/Dan back and forth, but it defebtky has some good episodes in it still. Just happy when we finally get to season 3 haha
