6 is the best
4 and 5 were kind of duds for me based upon the writing for a specific character, but 3 is top-tier. I also agree with another poster about s6; that's one of my faves.
Seasons 3,4,6,7 are the best personally
4th is for sure the best for me, but i like 7th more than 3rd.

The difference between Andy and Dan was that Andy knew the sisters since childhood whereas Dan only knew them about a year.
Plus he uncovered things little by little, starting with simple occult stuff to then the crazy supernatural stuff, so he had time to process ...with dan it was like a shock to his system, happened all at once
@@judigemini178 Also Andy was always open minded about the occult, even when Darryl made fun of him. And he was willing to sacrifice his original 'white-picket-fence' fantasy for Prue, whereas Dan probably wouldn't. He always seemed to want the 'perfect life' thing, and Piper, nor her life, are perfect.
The guy in the green tie running always makes me laugh. The director did him dirty.
So excited for yall to go to season 3, theres someone new coming that ik yall will love especially Sergio

This last episode was directed by Shannen Doherty, that's why she was gone throughout most of the previous episode. she seems to like playing with darker themes in the episodes she directs, I wonder if she has ever done some directing outside of charmed afterwards
She was given this episode to direct and hated it. They talk about it on the House of Halliwell podcast.

I didnt realize NOT doing season 3 was an option, I thought you guys were in for the series! I wont blame you if you decide to skip the later seasons, but please at least go up to 5! You havent even met the (arguably) best character yet!

Season 3 is my favorite season by far. The writing and acting is stepped up tremendously!! Huge noticeable improvement. Can't wait to see you guys react to that one.
Cody & Sergio, Brian Thompson played War.
Yes, he played Luke in episodes 1x01 | "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and 1x02 | "The Harvest" of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
He also played The Judge in episodes 2x13 | "Surprise" and 2x14 | "Innocent".
He was also in Joe Dirt and DragonHeart 1996.
The 4 hourseman is one of my favorite episodes from season 2 (I liked the one in the past and in the future the most). They were faced with a serious dilemma - save Prue and risk many people die or let Prue die, stop Hoursemans but then Power of Three will be broken so also many people would be at risk. Now after many years it reminded me of The Messengers series - where villains were also The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Also that Phoebe and Hourseman talk was ineteresting - she was not only born at manor but also in her previous life she was evil and he could sense that (I don't think that he could sense what they have seen in the future).
Sisterly bonding 💚 Not vanquishing Prue! Demonic drive by 😂 Oop not dull Dick 💀 Leo getting shut down ALL ep! Evil council, Trickster genie! Dragon demon 🔥 Phoebe’s flying power! Teenage Prue 😂 Poor Dan can’t catch a break! Prue & the dragon demon tho 🥵 Love a good power of 3 chant! 🙌🏼 Glad they freed the genie in the end. I remember him from 3rd Rock from the Sun! Can’t believe we’ve finished 2 seasons already! Here’s to season 3 y’all 🎉
The actor who played the gine was also in 3rd rock from the sun
French Stewart was hilarious on that show! First show I saw him on. I wish someone would react to Third Rock from the Sun.

Yessss keep watching the series. You wont regret it, you’ll be able to fully connect with the sisters and others. I really want to see you guys react to the rest of the show. There isn’t a whole lot of reactions to this show so to see you guys putting in the time and interest is really nice to see for Charmed.

Yes, Brian Thomson played the vampire 'Luke' in the first two episodes of Buffy Season 1, but he also returned in Season 2 to play the blue-skinned demon 'The Judge' in the episides 'Surprise' & 'Innocence'.😊

Paula Cole was a female singer from the 90's. She was so over looked. A phenomenal voice.

Plus I agree with the other comments here, the next few seasons are my faves out of the whole show, this is where it’s at. I honestly can’t wait for you to meet a certain someone ;) He was and still is one of my ultimate movie crushes
I don't know if you noticed it since you didn't include it here but Shannen directed episode 22, which I guess explains why it felt that much more personal in comparison to other episodes imo, her directing style always felt a bit darker even when the script has funny moments, and iirc she also directed the finale on season 3, which I can't wait to see your reaction to, since it's one of the most important episodes in the entire series.
As for continuing the series, in hindsight part of me wishes I had stopped after season 3 ended but at the same time I still enjoyed the rest of the series and think season 4 and maybe 5 if squint and look to the side a bit are a must.

I agree with everyone! Charmed is phenomenal all the way through but just like every other show it has its peak and season 3 and 4 are PEAK charmed. Really enjoy the next season, you’re going to love it and the acting is amazing ❤❤

The referencing of the Source goes all the way back to Hannah & Rex. Remember Hannah killed Rex but she wasn't killed by the sisters. She was vanquished for failing.

Episode 2x21: Here we have the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse. 5:32 Yes Sergio, that Brian Thompson from the 2-part "Buffy" premiere episodes. Always love seeing Darryl helping out the sisters. And love Leo going undercover.
Episode 2x22: Love actor French Stewart as the Genie. This is one of my favorite episodes of the series. Poor Dan! Like Piper said, he didn't deserve what he got. And Prue didn't either. Thankfully the wishes were reversed.
Even though you two said you were going to watch it, it's a definite YES that you should watch season 3. It's one of my favorite seasons of the whole series.

Whenever you react to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, I suggest you watch the unrated cut, which is 101 minutes. I also suggest that you watch Repo first followed by TCM2, which will you get you in the mood to cap it off with House Of 1000 Corpses since all 3 star Bill Moseley as an unofficial Bill Moseley trilogy

I really like the season 2 finale even if the season 1 is better but heartbreaking.
And yes Shannen is a really great and underrated actress. When shes cries, we cry. She's really good at drama.
I like the genie too. He wasn't bad but selfish.
Leo has more and more importance in the show and as a guardian angel and guide of the 3 sisters.

Omg! l am so excited about season 3... "That" is the reason l love Charmed so much... "lt" put me under a spell. When?!? 😅
The whole "save your sibling or save 5 strangers" thing doesn't really make sense when you take into how they really hit at the whole "the power of 3 will set us free" aspect. Like, the three of them are needed to defeat whatever big bad(s) the world (underwold included) has to offer. So, if they are willing to save x amount of people over their sibling, then down the line, they won't be able to save the world.
If they had sacrificed Prue to get rid of the 4 Horsemen, then wouldn't the world end regardless?
The Source was the only one able to vanquish the 4 Horsemen. Sacrificing Prue meant the other Horseman couldn't get back and therefore they wouldn't be able to go through with the plan. I get the "5 strangers" being "only" five cause their sister is more important in the grand scheme, but what they meant with that is that they will put others lives before theirs
