It says in the owners manual for 2023 at least that you can ride it how ever you want during the break in period due the computer rwording the timing and also limiting the maximum rpm to 7200

Any difference in riding when comparing the RXPX and the GTX you use to have?
Doesn’t the computer in the ski do the break in automatically. Meaning doesn’t it control the break in so you don’t need to?
I have a 19 rxt x 300 but thinking about getting a 21 rxp but my girlfriend rides with me sometimes. Is the ride a big change with a passenger on the back on your new rxp ?

Honestly I prefer the GTX300 storage.
Beautiful Ski. Break in period on sea doos is controlled by the computer it won't allow you to use full power for the first 5-10 hours.
Is it the same with 2021 seadoo fish pro.?

if it was warm enough around here to get a lot of riding in I thought about it, instead ordered a 2021 f3s special Spyder to get into something different off season. At the same time I did think about going all in and grabbing top ski and tricking it out but I only got into my spark trixx pre covid march 2020 and barely had enough time to put 14 hrs on it with all the work I had to do once the looting happened.....I do IT so it was in high demand. Lets see how 21 goes and I enjoy the Spyder once it comes in, the weather warms up and I may grab something, I do really like the new Yamaha, but I have so much sea doo gear...the should of put on the digital guage with the BRP Connect ill check back and see what's good. take care!
Hell yeah! Choose your toys based on the weather. No point on having a beautiful toy you can only look at for 5 months but hope to see you on the water when it gets warm.

Huh when I bought my jet ski at the dealership the guy told me run it hard for 15 minuets then let it sit for 45 minuets do it 3 times. Maybe it varies depending what model you get? Also is this the jet ski from the unboxing video you did the other day?
Great video!! How were you able to put the rxp300 on the Triton trailer? I have had hull rubbing issues despite the fact I moved the bunk adjusters all the way to the bottom to lift the ski? Please advise
Thank you. That sucks. Are your bunks directly under the chimes? That’s where I have my bunks set to. Also, are you putting your ski do deep in the water that the trailer floats? Feel free to send me a pic of underneath the ski from the rear on Instagram.
@@AlveanAzurin Currently my Rxp300 is serving as an expensive lawn ornament until I resolve the Triton Trailer issue. I was told that Triton sells riser for the bunks.
How did you set the bunks to the chimes? Is there a tool I could use to measure the degrees?
Triton uses bunk mounts that have two positions. Make sure you are in the higher position. To correct any other fitment issues, make the front mounts closer together. Move them in and it will carry the bow of the RXP higher. Your bunks will be at an angle, more narrow at the front.
Do you have to break in at low speeds with low RPM as well?
Yeah. I was told you just don’t want to putt putt around going 20 or even 30 mph at the same pace for long periods.
This is what BRP says in the manual:
Operation During Break-In Period
A break-in period of 10 operating hours is required before running the watercraft at sustained full throttle.
During this period, maximum throttle should not exceed 1/2 to 3/4 opening.
However, brief full acceleration and speed variations contribute to a good break-in.
NOTICE
Continued wide open throttle accelerations or operation, prolonged cruising speeds are detrimental during the break-in period.
NOTE: 230 and 300 engines: During the first 5 hours of operation, the engine management limits the engine maximum speed for engine protection. The engine performance will progressively increase during this period.

Is the 2up seat well suited for long rides and has a good riding position?
It’s ok but better for a single rider for long rides.

Yes all Seadoos should be broken in properly.

I haven’t tried but I have put the back rest and plastic piece inside the front compartment.

Don't forget your progressive cooldowns. 20 minutes out of the hole let it rest for a few do it again keep doing them same variation as you've been running.

Yes she is! So far I haven’t noticed any veering, tracks really good behind other skis wakes also. Maybe I can do a comparison video with the GTX.

Unfortunately IDF only comes on the gtx300 and fishpro

Not sure what you are asking. The range on this seadoo can be 40-90 miles just depends how you ride and conditions. If you are always in boost then 40 miles range, if you average 35-45mph then 90miles range.
I didn’t go wide open on my ski for the first 10 20 mins and I gassed her lol
You can go Wide Open, gradually . Just not put a big load on it going WOT from a stand still position.
I have to be honest this has kinda put me of getting a new ski this whole breaking it in thing..:(
