- (Part 2 of Break-In) This is how we broke in our New 2021 Sea-doos. 81 miles should take care of that. I took a new riding buddy, Scott, on his first time driving his 2021 Seadoo GTX 300. This was a long special trip for his first time but an awesome on to do. This ride is my favorite touring ride in the Houston Area; Lower San Jacinto River to Battle Ship to San Leon. If you are ever in the Houston area and are an experienced rider, this is a ride you should definitely check out but make sure to check Bay conditions prior.

Lucky you, you seem to ride your ski in the most beautifull areas there can be found 😁. Here ( the Netherlands) we do not have such nice places to ride our ski....mostly river riding here but not as nice scenery as were you go. But the most important is we have fun riding our ski ......and we do 😜
River riding is fun also! Plenty of water ways around here. As long as it’s fun that’s all that matters 😁

You should do it! You can play for hours on the trixx even in a small lake.

Love your videos! So much fun to watch. How is the stability of the RXPX around the docks and sitting still on the water compared to the RXTX or GTX? I really like the RXPX but I like to occasionally do a little fishing off shore or a cruise with my bride. I'm a young guy like Scott so racing is probably not in my future but I like the muscle car appeal and deep V hull.
Hey I know this is off topic but it would be really helpful. On your trixx, you took the back extension off. Where do you buy those extra protection plastics that go on the corner. I can’t find them anywhere
You should be able to find them on the Seadoo parts diagram for a 2up

We started at Xtreme Marina in Crosby, Texas. Then went down the San Jacinto River to the Baytown area, rode across the bay passing clear lake, got to San Leon “top water grill”. They have food and fuel there. Make sure to use Navionics bc you want to make sure to stay in the channel markers bc there are shallow areas on the river to Baytown.

It’s not negativity, it’s reality and factual. The carbon seal is a real problem on Seadoos and when one fails on you it will change your opinion of them instantaneously.
@@ImpalaSS08 I totally get the carbon seal issue and it is something that is always a legit concern. When I say the “negativity” I’m speaking of the constant bashing by certain fan boys. No ski brand is perfect. Yamaha itself has their own issues with sinking due to their intake grate problems but I don’t wish the feeling of ANY brand ski sinking upon someone.

Love the channel and that gorgeous 300. I have a question regarding the break in, so 2 days ago i picked up a 2021 wake 170 (O hrs). When i asked about the break in process i was told by the sales person “ sea doo has built the machine so the user can hammer down on it since day 1. You might not reach your full top speed but it will slowly open up and reach the top speed”. With you knowledge is there any truth to this and how do you recommend to break in a new skie.

Yes you can hammer it down but don’t stay hammered down. The break-in period is programmed to hold back a bit until ready. I wouldn’t recommend hammering it down while at a full stop though

That is some brown water but man does that ride look fun
how many liters of fuel to fill up its tank and what distance it covers before it finish or need to be refuel again.
It’s 18.6 gallons and 80-92mile range depending how much boost you ride in.
I can't wait put my deposit down on a purple rxp a couple weeks ago! I'm gonna miss my 03 xp though way smaller and more nimble I'm sure but she's not running right just got to find a mechanic that will work on her and I'll have best of both worlds!

How does the Rxpx handle at low speed ? Is it tippy and annoying because of the deep V hull ? I have about 8 minutes of no wake zone before i hit open water
Doesn’t feel tippy. There was one time I felt it lean to one side at idle speed but that could’ve been bc of my passenger. Lol

I'm trying to decide between the RXP-X and GTX limited. I use my brothers 2017 RXP-X 300 rs and have so much fun! but I'm looking for a third seat and doing more touring days like your video.
Maybe grab the GTX unlimited and borrow my brothers for waves and that little extra fun?
Get the GTX300! You will still have lots of fun song with the extra bells and whistles.

I had the use of a 2008 GTX limited in electric blue and it was super comfy compared to the 2014 rtx 230

Yes. I have ridden FX SVHO but not the new gp1800. If someone in our group gets one this season, I will be sure to test it out.

I sure messed up from what I read the rxpx 300 was electronically limited when I bought mine and put it in for the first time my ignorant ass went balls to the wall for the first half hour but I’m gonna baby it until 5 hours now
You can go fast but not put to much load on the motor during breakin.
Videos are dope but you should definitely considering featuring other makes of skis as well Yamaha, Kawasaki, Etc

Yes but they still make smaller skis also. That’s why I still have my Spark Trixx. Real Boats are very pricey to keep and storage is no fun.
