hi have a roadlegal tl125 here in nz I’ve never seen that shift lever set up before it should have a folding shift lever I think and the125 I had as a teenager had a short lever on it this was in the 80s so I think was correct although mine were both 75s .i also have a 250 that needs a rebuild and has non alloy Xl wheels.those side covers impossible to find here.i love these bikes so much fun.the 250 has the original exhausts which is rare!!!

The shift lever linkage was only on the 1973 and early 74 models. I wish mine had the factory muffler, you're a lucky guy.

Hey! I love your videos and am actually in Missoula looking for a mechanic. What shop do you work at or how could I get in contact with you?

Glad you like the channel. As for bike repair I only work on my own stuff. Just a hobby for me. Sorry

I would agree except a magnet will stick to my tank. Magnesium is supposed to be non-magnetic. So they say. 🤔

That is the slowest Honda made. Its a terrible trail bike. It's only good for bouncing around at a crawl. I had one.

Agreed, but they're still cool little bikes. Thanks for watching!
