- I decided to do this restoration because I have a passion for vintage watches. Been restoring watches for a year now and I really needed a watch cleaning machine. Eventually found one cheap enough on ebay and of course in dear need of restoration. So decided to tackle the project. hope you enjoy!

Do not attempt to restore if you don't have knowledge or feel unsafe to work with electrical wires and components. Seek an electrician to replace all electrical components if needed. - Jak na to + styl
Thanks alot for letting me participate and work on your project. It was very interesting in finding out what the machine is used for I had no idea when you brought me the piece. Thanks alot🙏
😂 Thank you too!
Great video! I really enjoyed watching you work. I also liked how you personalized your machine by changing the color, very nice touch! Thanks so much for the shout out! It’s much appreciated.
Thank you too Mr.Mark. I'll be in the lookout for your "can I rewire motor head" video 😁. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me @ el2chris@hotmail.com
Good job 👏
@@williamking6019 Thank you!
have to build my own watch cleaning machine , as much as i am in love with vintage cleaning machines the prices even for total junk is so so so over inflated it's not even funny ,, Great Video btw clean with pride !!!!
Right on!
Wd40 was originally created as a water proofer for electrical components.
Good to know, that's probably why it worked without issues.
I just bought a barn find and plan to do something similar. Great work!
Sweet.
Show muito bom mesmo para bem
Thank you
Do you have the basket?
Jijiji.
Curious about how you wired the 3-way switch to reverse the motor. My L&R Master (seemingly the same model as yours) just arrived yesterday and I would like to have that option as well. Fantastic job on the restoration, my friend.
Thanks! There are 3 connectors on the 3 way switch. The connector in the middle is connected with the hot powered line that comes from the light bulb. The other two connectors (black and white wires doesn't really matter one wire will spin left or right) will be connected to any of the two that comes from the motor head. Just as a reference, your machine may have different wire colors than mine and if that's the case, the third wire (mine is green) that comes from the motor head will connect to the speed knob connector. I hope that explains and helps you.
Great job, congratulations. Could you tell me how many rpm the engine runs?
Thank you
I'm not sure to be honest. But as soon as I figure it out I'll reply.
Bendiciones muy bien saludos 👍👍😘🙏
Igualmente, saludos
Hi! Thank you very much for this wonderful video. May I know how did you manage to remove the rotor from the motor housing? I can’t pull it out. It seems attached to the bearing inside?
Hello Joel, thanks 👍. I also ran through that same wall 😂. It might not be the proper way to do so but I was left with no option though it worked for me. I grabbed the housing and the shaft tightly, then I slightly wiggled the shaft while pulling all by hand and carefully. You don't want to break the housing bearing slot. Indeed it's attached to a bearing which in my case the bearing came out attached with the shaft. It was tough but managed to feel it wiggle out a bit then it started to come out smoothly with some extra slight wiggle. I hope you find this useful.
@@el22christhank you much!
@@joelcarvajal let me know if you got it out successfully and if you did it differently. Thanks.
Take pictures before disassembly. Many pictures.
I have a question I with these machines. Are they ok to use for cleaning jewellery as well? With the correct chemicals I couldn’t see why it couldn’t be used for that too.
I know that jewelry works very well with an ultrasonic cleaner and also watch parts. When it comes between ultrasonic cleaning and watch cleaning machines, I've heard the cleaning machine works even better than the ultrasonic for watch parts. I can't say the same for jewelry but I assume it also does a good job.
@@el22chris see that’s my question as I’m restoring a watch cleaning machine I just thought about it and now pounded the question. Don’t get me wrong when I’m done I can find out that way but wondered if anyone knew.
Sorry can’t stand ai voice. I’ll skip
😅
