Hello, this is my 1973 vintage Dallas cowboys watch made by Lafayette watch com. Swiss made. Visioned my watch would look nice with a strap made out of old football leather and boy was I right. This is not a how to do video. I'm no leather maker. Just doing this as a hobby. Decided to video and share how I made mine. There is defiantly room for improvement. I hope you enjoy.

Hi! Thank you very much for this wonderful video. May I know how did you manage to remove the rotor from the motor housing? I can’t pull it out. It seems attached to the bearing inside?
Hello Joel, thanks 👍. I also ran through that same wall 😂. It might not be the proper way to do so but I was left with no option though it worked for me. I grabbed the housing and the shaft tightly, then I slightly wiggled the shaft while pulling all by hand and carefully. You don't want to break the housing bearing slot. Indeed it's attached to a bearing which in my case the bearing came out attached with the shaft. It was tough but managed to feel it wiggle out a bit then it started to come out smoothly with some extra slight wiggle. I hope you find this useful.

I have a question I with these machines. Are they ok to use for cleaning jewellery as well? With the correct chemicals I couldn’t see why it couldn’t be used for that too.
I know that jewelry works very well with an ultrasonic cleaner and also watch parts. When it comes between ultrasonic cleaning and watch cleaning machines, I've heard the cleaning machine works even better than the ultrasonic for watch parts. I can't say the same for jewelry but I assume it also does a good job.
@@el22chris see that’s my question as I’m restoring a watch cleaning machine I just thought about it and now pounded the question. Don’t get me wrong when I’m done I can find out that way but wondered if anyone knew.

Wd40 was originally created as a water proofer for electrical components.

Curious about how you wired the 3-way switch to reverse the motor. My L&R Master (seemingly the same model as yours) just arrived yesterday and I would like to have that option as well. Fantastic job on the restoration, my friend.
Thanks! There are 3 connectors on the 3 way switch. The connector in the middle is connected with the hot powered line that comes from the light bulb. The other two connectors (black and white wires doesn't really matter one wire will spin left or right) will be connected to any of the two that comes from the motor head. Just as a reference, your machine may have different wire colors than mine and if that's the case, the third wire (mine is green) that comes from the motor head will connect to the speed knob connector. I hope that explains and helps you.

so what was the outcome? mine shut down yesturday and oil was pouring out of the air filter, no weird noises out of the engine or turbo, it did start up again but would shut down after a minute or so, (maybe low on oil shuts it down)

@el22chris any recent news on your x3? Bought mine 3 weeks ago and it's doing the same thing. Dealer tried a "bag test" and couldnt locate the leak. Said it must have been a fluke. I took it out yesterday and of course same thing happened again. They said they had never heard of it.
If anyone else has same issue, mine turned out to be the camshaft had a defect. Not sure how it made if from the camshaft to the air intake but the dealer said thats what it is and they BRP has sent a new one. So I will end up without my machine for 3 weeks total.

Did u ever find out what the issue causing this was?? Mine is also doing it. Oil levels are and air filter is drained in oil.
Dude my unit has been in the shop almost three months now. They have not yet found the problem. Dealer is waiting on canam trouble shooting steps. All of the past trouble shooting has failed to stop leaking. I'll update whenever they find the issue.
@@gerryherrera2344 no shit. I called the dealer on Monday and after multiple failed troubleshooting the mechanics saw a leak comming off the cameshaft. They think that's where all the problem came from. They just ordered a new seal so hopefully that is it. Fyi if your unit is more than a month at the shop and you still have manufacturer warranty call canam so that they extend your warranty for the lost time. I will let you know if the problem has been fix.
el22chris I’m out of the warranty period but I did get the 4 year extension on it. I also explained that if my engine was running on low oil that future engine failure should also be covered by them.
@@el22chris wts up brother just wondering the outcome on your can am, I just recently bought my can am and its doing the same thing leaking oil from the intake? Did the warranty cover it
@@eleazarsantana2575 yes it covered and they went ahead and did fix the issue. It was a seal problem . Can't remember what gasket it was but as soon as I get the info again I'll post.
so i guess this only happens wen u flip a utv and it says if your turbo is spinning to just leave it running till it burns the oil
What did you figure out? My X3 has been using a lot of oil lately and oil is present in the airbox like yours.
It's still currently out at the dealer. They have not yet repaired it. Dealer contacted canam and canam send them some troubleshooting steps. They did not identify where the leak came from. Canam said to replace turbo so dealer is waiting for turbo arrival. Hopefully that fixes the issue. I'll keep you informed if it works after that.
