I love this. I hurt my foot and was thankful for kayaking and still enjoying a hike but on the water. Got to see all sorts of birds and even a turtle

How do they get out? Getting in is the easy part (for many)
This is the 2nd accessible launch video I've watched where they only show someone getting in the kayak, not out.

The best kayak launches have a series of bars that arch overhead. That way when you get your kayak back into the launch, you can pull yourself up to a bench or a standing position with the bars. This one looks very difficult to get out of the water

This is a great help for older people who have trouble getting in and out of sit in kayaks. Also great to use in cooler weather as you don’t have to get your feet wet.

How do you get back onto the dock?

"Scoot your fanny over"....ok. This looks like a great kayak launch if you have the room on your dock. Its quite long. Great concept and fantastic for the people with disabilities.

How do you get out after your paddle? That's the part I can't figure out...

Their chair is left in the way of the next person. If the next person moves their chair to use in this method, it's not accessible when they return. Is this addressed?

can it be used in reverse, getting out of the water?

Yes. Paddle up to the rack, stow your paddle, then pull up out of the water by pulling on the rails.

There are a number of things that aren't shown in the video. Since this is supposed to be a way of someone going kayaking 'independently' how exactly do they load the kayak onto the vehicle and drive to the launch site? How do they get the kayak off the vehicle and down to the launch platform? How did they get back out of the water? What do they do if the kayak tips over on the water?

I guess its not a universal panacea, but does address the launch/exit question. A kayak could be transported on a trailer, rolled onto a dolly and towed... and exiting the kayak following a capsize would require the same forward roll technique. There are solutions.
