No light leakage when the interface is fully closed to its smallest position, if opened up to allow for lenses accommodation or glasses 🤓 there is the slightest sign of light, but nothing to write home about, pretty much the same as the stock interface when adjusted in the same way.
🥶- Three levels of depth adjustment, easily accessible and simple to adjust!
🥶- Use the official charging stand without removing the K3 - also works on other third party charging docks like Zyber VR Tower stand.
🥶- Lens defogging effect is remarkable, tested it by purposely fogging the lenses and cleared within seconds.
🥶- Comfortable and removable soft leather, I did replace the cover with an ice silk cover and it fits just fine so it’s compatible with any other covers you already have and can be swapped out easily.
🥶- Ergonomic nose pads to prevent light transmission, personally I don’t use them, but I did use for the purposes of testing and it’s a complete black out.
Overall I love it and can honestly say, it’s probably one of the most comfortable interfaces I’ve placed onto my quest 3 with the added bonus of having a fan built in. Would love to see it come with some swappable interface covers, and I’d imagine that would put the price up slightly but think it would be well worth it! All in all superb creation KKCOBVR 👍 knocked it out the park…

Of course it is suitable for the Quest3 official charging stand! No need to remove K3 when charging

Have you tried this with the BOBOM3 VR headset?
Yes, works with any head strap due to the fact it’s not bulky and pretty much an interface that’s flush with the headset
I don’t know if I turned it off accidentally or not but I played for 2 1/2 hours tonight and when I took the headset off the fan was off and I had it on 1. Have you had this happen?
If you were adjusting your headset it’s possible to accidentally press the button and turn it off! I’ve done it myself. But one thing I will say is you need to ensure it’s fully charged so it’s at full charge when the white indication light is solid and stops flickering as the unit only comes with 50% battery so you have to charge it fully before first use.
So in other words it does so little that you didn't even notice wether it's on or not? That's disappointing
@@TomPlayzVR. yes there is a chance I accidentally turned it off but adjusting the headset. As the button is right where I put my hands to tilt it, I’m going to try again tonight and see if does it again.
@@Janninatore I had the fan on setting one as it has a lot of airflow, setting 2 seems to be too much in the face at once. But after a while you get used to the airflow and don’t notice it as much. Plus I have the bobovr s3 pro and that too had a fan so that could be y I didn’t notice it at first. Love the fan! I feel it’s perfect and great quality with high fan output on setting 1.
@@TattooedDad87 thanks, would you say the fan on the s3 adds much value? I'm currently considering the kkcob strap but might be swayed by the fan as I get hot quickly
is the cover genuine leather or pleather?
It’s not genuine leather not I don’t know if any that are tbh
How much of a loss in FOV is there with this? Looks like it moves the Quest farther from your face.
FOV is better as it’s wider and it’s not further from your face no.
