Incredible Ding Repair | Frankenstein Surfboard

- About 2 weeks ago Mason Ho destroyed one of his favorite surfboards. Usually when this happens Mason's Dad Michael will find the board in their yard and take it to our good friend K.O. for repair.
In this video we show the mangled nose of his magic "Rocket Redux" get chopped off and replaced with a "Mark Richards X Mayhem California Twin" nose that broke a few months ago. Therefore making a Frankenstein Surfboard that actually works really well. After the ding repair Mason tests it out with his good friend Sheldon Paishon at a surf spot with jagged lava rock, sea urchins and very Shark infested waters.

I had a partial knee replacement a few years ago and I chose my surgeon because he rode a MR twinfin. Great job on the Franken Board🤙🤙

It’s like a video game how fast they are going once they drop in. I started watching his channel only because I liked following Ben Gravy to see what the surf was like in Jersey. Once I saw how much Mason out surfed Ben I became an instant fan. I know Ben’s not as good as most of these pros but in that video you could clearly see how far apart they were. Testament to how good Mason and his whole family are and the positive energy they put out.

I'm very curious to know how you do to surf close to rocks, on the shallow waves without getting serious cuts by the reef? Can someone enlighten me please? because I have the impression that those waves are very powerful (given their size) So when the pipe close on you, what's the trick to avoid getting Rekt?

The barrel is a magical place...it creates an air pocket that can shield you from a lot of the force of a wave especially if you know how to fall properly...it's the lip you have to worry about which Mason avoids everytime.
