What are you talking about? The 49ers offense was top notch they had the second most points that season. First in rushing TDs and second in rushing yards. They ran over 240yds on Green Bay in the championship game Green Bay shored up their line and still couldn’t stop them! It was far from an “Ok offense” 😂😂😂🤡

There are a couple things that Joy continues to overlook about the boys. Last year, we only had CD Lamb. Pollard went down during the game and we only had Diggs on one side. The other side was wide open. We now have two shut down corners and Brandon Cooks as an addition on offense along with a healthy Gallup and an emerging Tolbert. She keeps talking as if everything is the same! As her when was the last time her Dolphins won something!
Ceedee lamb isn’t a good enough wr1 top be elite, pollard still needs to play with out getting injured this year, we’ve seen Dallas have multiple #1 offenses and defenses. Again nobody is sayin they aren’t good what we are asking for is to get to a championship first before talking super bowls

I think you are missing the conversation it’s the talking heads on tv that brings up Cowboys and SB. Their conversation goes Dak can’t win big game (8-3 against Iggles,). Cowboys haven’t won SB in nearly 30 yrs, it took Iggles 60:yrs and they only won 1. The never degrade the Niners but their last SB win was a year earlier than Dallas. That's how confident they were. The jets defense looked average against Dallas and gave up 27 points before the turnovers started raining in. Anybody with a basic understanding of football can see how Dallas played conservatively because the jets offense is no threat.

Sean Payton should treat each half as 2 different games. They need a bunch of different game plans for the 2nd half already made that way each game they know what to base themselves depending on the coverages or if the run or pass is working
What Sean is saying isn’t a bad bad thing, we used all 3 timeouts the first half on avoiding a delay of game bc the plays weren’t being set up quick enough. Outside of that Russ is doing well. Last season it was “if only we could score 18 points we’d have 10 wins this season” and that was absolutely Russ’ fault but now he put up over 30 points and is still being blamed. This poor defensive play falls on Vance’s shoulders, we should have never hired him back after seeing what he gave us the last time, Rex should have been our D coordinator and if he was I believe Denver would be 2-0 right now

Russ has made a load of mistakes. However, I think it’s been the perfect storm for him. And I think it’s a bummer because I believe he can still play at a high level, but this entire trade has been a disaster. He could throw for 5 TDs, lead the team in rushing, and still get blamed for losing because of how bad last year was. Dak had one offensive weapon (CeeDee) in that game against the Niners when Pollard broke his leg in the game and the Cowboys became a one dimensional offense against the #1 defense in the league. Last year I completely agreed with the Russ comments. It was on him but this year? Not at all. Dude was up 18 points and the defense didnt make a single stop in the second half. He threw a hail mary to get the game into a tie able position...when it shouldnt have been in the first place. I'm a big fan of Payton and his coaching but take some of this on yourself, man.
