This makes the most sense for Wilson and the Steelers. This is a better fit than the Broncos, they were never a QB away. Never. And now they certainly aren’t.
Steelers are better all around and it’s what wilson needs. They have a great offensive weapons that are still under rookie deals, great pair of RBs, and an outstanding defense. Plus sound of stable management. People wanna hate on Arthur smith as a HC (rightfully so) but as a OC he had Tannehill look like CPOTY. His style of play is leaning on the run game and play action pass which is Wilson specialty. Get him out the pocket.
Their defense looks tough but so did the AFC west when he showed up. The ravens lost multiple defensive pieces and their DC. Browns have Watson so it’s still unknown what he brings, and we don’t know how the Bengals with burrow post hand injury will be like. Especially since they lost Boyd and Higgins requested a trade.
Pittburgh gonna be tough with Russell Wilson, hes still a good quarterback

It’s crazy how Acho has optimism for other AFC teams based on QBs they may get in the draft or QBs coming back from injury, but thinks the Steelers are the same team as last year with a solid QB that doesn’t miss games on a team that made the playoffs with hardly any QB production for most of the season.

The Steelers lost back to back games against the Cardinals and the Patriots last season and all these folks were suggesting Tomlin move on.

The Steelers have a strong Team overall besides QB. So I think this is the best team Russell Wilson could have ended up in besides Alanta. I think the Steelers will go 11-6. But they are in a TOUGH division.
no way. the offensive line still blows, one of the receivers can't catch and when he does he runs backwards 5 yards before running forward and the other receiver is a premadona baby momma drama child. the only thing they have going for them is the tight end and jaylen warren.
They went 10-7 in that tough division with 3 below average QBs and an airheaded OC....
Steelers have BEATEN Ravens 7 out of the last 8 times they played, including 4-0 IN Baltimore. Steelers also went 5-1 in the AFC North last year. They will be much improved with an upgrade at QB.

Steelers is the best fit for Russ.. decent O-Line, decent RunGame, underrated WRs, awesome defense and most of all great culture within the Steelers organization... Im not saying that Steelers will automatically be going to SuperBowls with Russ but they can win a few playoff games, maybe even get "hot" at the right time and actually make a Conference championship game with Russ as QB... Folks forget that Arthur Smith is the Steelers new OC, he was the OC with Tennesee with Derrick Henry, imagine if that Titans team had Russ as QB... IJS

My Dad is a diehard Steelers fan and he asked for Russ
Same with my friend's dad. I told him Russ is gonna cook. He didn't understand the phrase. Once I explained to him, the phrase that has followed him, he went outside into a shed and said to, "let him cook". Not sure what he meant by that but he never came out not to tell my boy I had to get going so, hopefully he made something good.
As a Steelers fan I didn't agree with this signing of Russell Wilson, but since he's here, I hope he gets the fountain of youth season, and if course the Steelers definitely need to finish fixing that offensive line

It is not unreasonable that the steelers would not be able to do the same thing with Wilson. Wilson and now Fields as qb2 is a significant upgrade to the qb room we had last year. The Steelers have to find a new Center and many pieces on defense now. One reason the Steelers probably sign Wilson is they know Arthur Smith's offense fits him well. Russ has talent but he's not a quarterback that can go into any system and play well. He's not going to dissect and Pick-A-Part defenses so running the ball and play action is going to be the strength of the Steelers offense .
Mason Rudolph is better than Russell Wilson. You're all comparing him to Kenny Pickett. That's not the same.
