It’s all about opinion. You say, I say. Your team have been far better than Utd for years. Your team were abysmal earlier in the season and Utd were much improved on a very poor last season. Klopp has won 1 PL and 1 CL and of course the domestic cups with a very good team. Some thought you’d win the quad last season and you weren’t far from it although the 2 trophies you did win were without scoring a goal. What’s weird is that Utd could end up with the same amount of trophies this season that your potential quad team won last season. As for this nonsense regarding keepers, the prime task is for that person to stop the round ball going into the net. That is something DeGea has been very good at, but as we know if a keeper makes a mistake it usually ends up in the net. Allison has made a few howlers just like David. You prefer your guy just like I prefer 5 times CL winner, Casemiro to Henderson.

With De Gea pretty much agreeing a new contract with United he mustn't be 1st choice next season if we wanna progress. We Gea isn't that keeper to take us forward. Either we stick with Henderson as a stop gap till next summer or we sell Henderson this summer & use those funds towards signing someone like Costa or Raya who both would be muvh better suited to the style Ten Hag wants to play. Quite simply we cannot play out from the back if De Gea remains number 1
Alan shearer never relied on speed which is why he was good deep into his career dispute missing nearly 2 seasons with a serious knee injury.
Shearer was a great target man but would still be elite in the modern game due to his ability to score with both feet and his heading was elite.
his goal vs Chelsea in 2003 was a shearer only goal, he spoke about how he sucked Dessailly close then used his own force to get him off balance then rolled and shot forst time without sighting goal.

Trust me, i'm a Leeds fan. Meslier has some good games because he saves a lot of shots due to our defense being shite. Same as De gea. But overall they are not good keepers. They make too many errors and distribution is awful which is a huge part of the modern game. De gea had a couple of season being world class but hes been average for 6 seasons or so.
