Leicester were not considered elite by anyone before they won the league. They were then considered semi-elite for a season or two afterwards, but have gone back to being irrelevant in the minds of most football fans.

I totally agree. I'm an Everton fan and people tell me 'don't worry, Everton always find a way to stay up, they never go down'. We can't just rely on saying that. We were lucky to stay up last year and we're still not safe.

A home game against Liverpool and away to Newcastle is likely to result in two losses. That leaves the final game against West Ham which they might win, but 3 points won't be enough to escape relegation. Leicester is doomed. Allowing Schmeichel to leave for peanuts is going to be the most expensive mistake Leicester has ever made. I reckon they would have up to 10 points more had he been between the sticks this season.
I saw problems for us the moment we let kasper go, knowing ward would be the replacement.
They'll get a win and a draw, Leeds will get a win and Forest and Everton will lose all three games.

Shouldn't have sacked Ranieri and got all big for their boots. Yes they were having a crap time (17th if memory serves?) when they did it, but they're Leicester and they somehow won the league and the following season managed to get out of the group stage of the Champions League. Leicester. League winners. Knockout stage of Champions League. Leicester. At the beginning of that season not even the most die hard Leicester fans realistically imagined they'd come anywhere close to doing any of that, then suddenly they should magically be top four every season. This relegation battle is the bucket of cold water they've been needing for a while now.
