Lost my passport whilst following Wolves in Portugal. Went to the local police who printed me off a letter in Portuguese and told me it would get me through Braga Airport. I was in such a fluster that I forgot to mention that it wasn't a direct flight - I was flying via Munich to Manchester. I arrived in Munich and got a lot of confused looks from passport control but ended up getting through after a lot of convincing. Arrived in Manchester and they couldn't believe I'd made it this far. Got a call a few days later to say they'd found my passport on the outbound flight from Manchester to Munich.

That almost happened to me, being stuck in no mans land arriving in Ibiza with no passport of your face as the plane is rolling away is not good, lol, luckily mine was in my inside pocket but i searched and searched in the queue. phew

That's why I always put my passport in the little bag I carry whenever I travel. And that bag is always within my reach.
I did the exact same thing on a connecting flight from Toronto to London. Ran back to the plane and was able to get it and was the last one on the plane to london. People were mad hahaha

I was coming back from Hellfest Festival in France, me and a few people were coming back via coach, tbh wasn't the most comfortable trip 😆 anyway we arrive at French border to get on ferry but of course, passport control, about 5 people on coach didn't realise they lost their passports 😆
