- Yo what's up Hemifam family we are back from our short break and ready to make some videos! Today we will be unboxing the Craftsman 282 piece gunmetal chrome mechanic tool set. This is a really great kit for the price and comes with lots of great tools and accessories and docent include lots of "kibble" sockets or drivers. It has a really good selection of metric and SAE and the gunmetal finish is amazing. Craftsman is making a huge comeback and has a manufacturing plant being built in the USA as we speak. I think the tape is color coded for the factory workers. So, they can easily pack the boxes without getting confused.

Just bought this kit at Lowe's, on clearance for $112.00 minus my 10% military discount. I've always bought Craftsman but this gun metal finish is new to me. I'm sure I'm gonna love using it.

I just got my set at Lowe’s for $134.00
This means that I paid $.47cents per piece.
Tool quality is way better than China made.
Taiwan makes better quality tools.
For the price I am very satisfied 👍🏻.

I got that 282 GMC for $112.00 at lowes before Christmas. I had to get it for that price!

This is one of the best Complete socket set I have ever seen Craftsman produce.
No skips and each deep and standard match, 1 for 1. They even give you both 4.5 and 5.5.
And then they go and discontinue it…
I thought so too... but it's back in stock now, go figure.
