  • FIRST DRIVE: The new Tacoma is here and now the i-FORCE MAX engine is center stage. On the outside of the Limited you will discover 18in wheels, unique grill, LED lighting and power tailgate. On the inside you will be greeted by automatic dropping running boards, soft-tex material and 14in infotainment system. Under the hood is a 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 that produces 328HP & is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2024 Toyota Tacoma Limited i-FORCE MAX better than a GMC Canyon Denali?

A lot of windshield reflections and or glare throughout the video (don't know if its the angle of the windshield) and a lot of things look stuck onto the dash like the wood and infotainment all have a cheap glued on look. Good for them that they finally went with 4wheel disk brakes and worked on the suspension. Good that the cheap looking front air dam is removable, it would get ripped off in about 5 minutes of off roading on a rocky trail or in a field.

the air dam really looks out of place. No need for it at all. No arm rest in the backseat is a zonk.

No heated rear seats for a limited, no memory seats for a limited, cheap plastic material on the doors. That’s just completely unacceptable. Toyota is so cheap it’s sad.

Plus they’re built in Mexico so they save on labor costs. It’s insane the cost cutting Toyota is doing and then raising the MSRP in these over $15k more than the previous generation.
