With all due respect, the protestors have no business camping out on the grounds of the campuses. It is very inconsiderate of them to do so. It is interference. College students pay for their curriculum and should not be hindered from receiving their degrees and have to work around all the tents. What do these colleges have to do with political protests? I do not agree with this at all.
You would've said the same thing during the Civil rights movement, or apartheid. Protest is literally designed to be disruptive. A protest that can be ignored is an ineffective protest.
But it's good to know whose side you would've been on in the past.
