- The best things happen in life when you move. Here how I got to the beach. Moving away from your home town can be good for you. No matter where you live, life can always be better somewhere else. Many people have the desire to move to the beach, but it’s only a dream or a wish. You have to have a plan of action to get there. Most people are not born at the beach they have to move there. Here’s how I made that journey and how I got to the beach.

Oh, and I was born in Bawlmer but raised in Pennsylvania. I didn't detect any accent. Relatives were from Greektown, Dundalk, and Anne Arundel county. Sno-Cones and the guy on the horse cart selling veggies in the alleys!

I’m almost 13 and I really want to live on beach on an island called Stradbroke, my mum said we might move there at the end of the year and now I can’t stop thinking about it, whenever I go there I feel something that makes me want to live there and it feels right to be going there
Maybe one day you will live at the beach!

I’m 22 and vacationed in wildwood no every year I want to live near any beach I’m adopted so life was hard emotionally getting older but the thing that kept me happy and focused on graduating was visualizing someday I can move to the beach I smell I feel it and see it even when I’m looking at other things because I meditated there before so I feel I’m at both places getting closer sounds crazy but just have to keep that positive emotion aligned with your visualization on anything in life and take the actions of course which I’m in brainstorming mode for

Everybody has a story and most people aren't born at the beach...they have to move there. You know the old saying..."I wasn't born at the beach, but I got here as fast as I could" :)
Great video. I will say a buddy of mine quote: he said its sad when you get to a certain age and you don't find your beach. Not finding your beach can mean you don't appreciate where your at or the beauty in where your at. Always looking for some where else.
I definitely would like to look at where I was born over seas , and see what kind of beach is there.

Been living in Phoenix for 17 years now "waiting for my life to begin". I'm still young, 24. But I'm so miserable in the desert. I've always known since the day my parents brought me here that this is NOT the place for me. I feel 50 years older than I am. Currently living near sun city, a retirement community. When I go to the grocery store, I'm the youngest person in the whole store by 40 years at least. I get the overwhelming feeling that I just don't belong here... Trying to save up but the going is so slow. I'm honestly desperate, and am at the verge of just quitting everything and moving to the ocean to live in a tent. At least the homeless people on Venice Beach seem happy. Everyone in Phoenix is fucking miserable. I can't wait to make my beach dreams come true. It's literally all I want in life right now.

I’m 16 years old and my parents are 55 they have been so content living in a small town filled with drugs and no opportunities. How can you live,always dreaming of leaving your town? I tried to convince them by saying,is this where you want to be buried?

I’m 13 and I live in Austin, and I’ve lived here my whole life. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very nice here, but I know its not where I want to be and grow up. I know people who live there don’t go to the beach every day and its a pretty normal life overall, but I can’t stand not being able to see the sparkle the sun creates on the water or smell the salty air. The beach is my life. My parents don’t want to move and my dad’s job is here and my brother dislikes the beach. (His loss.) I wouldn’t say I’m miserable but I’m definitely unhappy here. I have these daily “Sad Episodes” as I like to call them, where basically I sit and my room and cry and dream about how much happier I would be if we moved. I don’t want to be selfish but I just can’t stand it anymore! I don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any advice at all?
I'll be 37 this month and I'm not happy where I'm at either. My advice to you is as soon as you are old enough get out and travel! Live in a few different places so you can get an idea of where you want to call home when you are ready to settle. I'm going through the agony of debating whether to uproot my family to move to the beach because I know we'll be happier there. But I'd be moving my kids away from their family. I can't help but wonder if I had been brave enough to move around when I was younger and childless and had found my "home" back then then I wouldn't be deciding whether to move now or whether to wait until they're older and move out.
Great video. I live in The mountains of Colorado (off grid) and am getting tired of the 4-seasons. My brother is moving to the Conway area and asked if we'd like to move
there as well. In researching, noticed the flooding(Florence) which stopped me dead in my tracks. I want the mountain areas for sure- any suggestions?
My recommendation... is to never purchase any property in low lying or flood zones!. Fortchanatly most areas of Myrtle Beach did not flood, only low areas near rivers and streams. Planning on moving to MB from New Jersey next year. My wife and I are in our 60's and neither of us are working, although we have a limited amount of savings. I figure, if not now, then WHEN? We are both beach people. We have friends that live in Barefoot, and we are looking in the Carolina Forest area. The NJ shore is nice but the taxes and property costs are OUTRAGEOUS! We figure that our son and his girlfriend will soon follow because there's nothing holding them here. Same thing for her parents who love Pawley's Island. So maybe we'll all be in the "promised land" soon!
