    Good luck to us all. We can do it. My starting weight for September 1st, 2023, is 311.6 lbs. It doesn't matter where you start, only where you end. I will update at least once a week

      @godisgood5038 😖 Not great. I'm not going to give up. I had a dream that I wasn't fat and I felt amazing, so I started again today. I'm doing omad carnivore, and I will keep fighting. I'm thinking a week or 2 of one meal, then I will try adf.

      @@DanieLife78 Please dont give up Danielle! You can do it! I've failed thousands of times...I'm 54. Dont give up before the MIRACLE happens! Just extend grace yourself. I fast from lunch to lunch, one day per week. The other days I do OMAD. Just make it work for you. Something you can see yourself doing for a lifetime. Everyone has an opinion but you do you. God bless you ABUNDANTLY!

    I started ADF on May 25th @ 256 lbs and yesterday I weighed in at 222lbs. All thanks to you and these videos I lost 34lbs in 14 weeks. I’m ready for this challenge to get the rest of this weight off! 🤞🏽🤛🏽💙

    Last ate at 7pm last night. I usually eat early around 9 am, I got passed that morning hunger without caving 🤗Feel good right now. I’m planning on going to bed extra early to be sure to succeed on my fast days. Praying for everyone’s success🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    I have been doing ADF since July 4th of this year and I was recently diagnosed with Graves Disease. My doctor had me on Methimazole 30 mg at the beginning of my diagnosis ( December of 2022) and as of a week ago I have become hypothyroid and my doctor has reduced my medication to only 5 mg. This fasting method has truly altered my hormone imbalance and I was told I’d be on medication my entire life. I am now looking at getting off the medication entirely as I am not hyperthyroid anymore. I can attest the power of this eating method and it truly inspires me to continue as a way of life. I have also lost 12 lbs so far and I am very happy about that! Thanks Colleen, it is because of you I took the plunge to venture into this and I am grateful.

      @LolaMarie91 Good luck to you! I was suffering from a thyroid storm when I was diagnosed with Graves 2+ yrs. ago. Last fall , I too went into the hypo side of things. They reduced me to 5mg Mon-Fri only. In June I was told no detectable antibodies🤗 (I'm still on rx). By the way, 30mg sounds like a high dose to start😲. I was on a build up regime from 10mg. And never made it to 30 due to side effects.
      ****. I started clean eating, intermittently fasting in June this yr, a challenge due to the fast time period. Down a few lbs, but not much fat mass. Hoping this may help push things along. I forgot today was the 1st 😢 with a fast start so I'm already behind. Will begin my fast challenge tomorrow.

    Hello! I am so ready and excited for this challanege! I have GERD which is a stomach disease that causes severe acid reflux and I actually just found out come scary information, which is that GERD can cause another issue called Barrett's Esophagus. BE is basically a condition of prolonged damage the the esophagus from acird reflux and can lead to cancer. This is pretty upsetting but I also found that fasting can help lessen the symptoms of GERD and that increased ghrelin can lead to decreased stomach acid. I'm hoping that getting into a routine with ADF will help me reduce my GERD symptoms

      I do have BE and have had GERD for many years- was told repeatedly to take Prilosec daily- for life basically, but I don’t want to be on it long term. I’m hoping ADF will alleviate the need for that.

      I have GERD also and have had throat ulcers. I recently had an upper endoscopy procedure to look for tumors. Thankfully they found none. What helped keep me off Prilosec was drinking raw cabbage juice. I drank it for two weeks before my UE and have also drunk it when I’ve had throat ulcers. It cures them. There are numerous YT videos on this subject. Anyway, sugar triggers the heartburn, so there’s a reason to cut carbs. God bless you as you get well.

    I was afraid to start this journey because I don’t want to fail, but seeing everyone here in the comments fighting for themselves I am not afraid anymore because I know I am not alone in this… Today is 09/01/2023 and I am starting my ADF journey at 211lb.     Just finished my first week of ADF 🎉… lost 2,3 Kg or about 4,4 lbs ❤… very happy although this is not easy at all .. but easier than I expected 😊..

    I started 16:8 for the last 10 days in Aug. lost 2# lol I’ve been tracking what I eat in my fitness pal to see where I’m going over with my food in regards to sugar and carbs. I’m jumping in to ADF (I’ve done it in the past) today! Morning affirmation/prayer✅Weighed myself✅took my start pics✅ dressed in my workout clothes to take a walk on my lunch ✅and sipping on my 🍵 green tea with my lights dimmed while I work to create some calm and adamant about not letting my job stress me today!

      Of course, all that Collen suggested, be sure to rewatch her videos. Her suggestions about crutches until you can do it on your own are awesome. Anyway, I used Glucomannan for Nutricost to help scoop 10cal. Ashwagandha liquid extra helps a whole lot to keep me calm, especially at night when I get hungry.

    Accomplished my 16/8 hour fast. Working towards the 24 hour fast.
    Been losing since Jan 1, 2023. Stalled out since July when I went on an extended visit with relatives. I am looking to get back to managing my hunger with intermittent fasting. Love this!

    I tried ADF (my first fast of any kind) last week but broke my fast at 19 hours. I will start with 16:8 fasting as you recommended this weekend and slowly ease into ADF. While this is not day 1 of ADF for me, I will follow this September challenge. I ordered Jin Stevens' and Mindy Polz's books after binging your videos.     I’m doing the OMAD because after a 22 or 24 fast my blood drops in the low fifties, I start shaking feeling sick. So I’m not doing a true ADF because of what I experience but, I do need accountability so I’m doing intermittent fasting 22,24 for the 14 days. Any suggestions are welcomed.😊

    Yesterday I had to have a bottom molar extracted & I wasn’t able to eat much. I ended up eating a couple slices of pizza and I had hunger pangs throughout the night. What I thought would be a fast day today turned into a feast day because I need to “fuel up” before fasting. Therefore, tomorrow will be my fast day. I weighed in at 211.4 lbs this morning and I’m 5ft 4. Let’s get it ladies and thanks Colleen for putting together this challenge. ❤

    I’m prone to migraines due to a variety of reasons and got a migraine on the first day. My doctor stated i should always have a snack or some type of small food item and never go completely hungry because that could induce a migraine. I’ve been adding Himalayan salt to my water. I will try LMNT and see if that helps with migraines.

    It’s 9:01 pm and I’m almost thru it! I’m a little tiny bit hungry and a very very faint headache but I don’t feel stressed or the impulse to eat. Now I did run some errands after work so not going home helped. Lol but I’m almost thru it.

    One thing I am doing is while my food time is adding a dessert and as dessert I am using a single fruit, today it was a mango after my lunch. Which is the time I am finding easy to keep along with my fasting schedule. It felt super satisfying, it was fresh sweet and I didn't have this heavy feeling after eating, nor I did feel tired. It feels os good, thank you for enlightening my path!

    I’m two weeks in and 15lbs down but I’m at a plateau now. Any advice?

      Try to Vary your fast, longer fast.Breaks the plateau every time 😊
