    Black hair bungee style ponytail holders work great and look better than the rubber bands 😊 I use them on my Axial Ryft RBX10 for limiting straps and they work awesome 😮😊 thanks for sharing your informative videos my friend 😊

      Now if i knew what a bungee style pony tail holder is. Got an amazon link ? All i find is very thin and short silicone rubber bands, and some that are too thick.

    Great video and idea. I will be making some. An idea for you, I do a lot of actual wheeling and need to keep extra parts with us for on trail repairs. We mount axles and to the inside of the frame rails. Maybe you could put a brass bushing or some thing under your truck and attaching your straps to the frame and you don't need to keep them in your pocket.

    heres a tip with why rubberbands work BEST or elastic straps you want straps that are strong enough your body cant pull them but the weight of your axles can that way you get full articulation but the body wont pull away from chassis on climbs

      Thanks for the tip! I've experimented with many different rubber bands. And they do work the same! I more want a clean, great function, custom look 😉 thank you for commenting! 🫡

      @@rajenmunkeeRC oh i meant anything elastic im just saying you want something with the perfect elasticity for that specific rig, i love your approach its great i would say that size of the band is where your gonna want to go for adjustments not really length adjust elasticity not length is what im getting at if you find you need less resistance dont make it longer get a thinner magic stretch rope if ya catch my drift. i think im gonna try to look into doing it your way but ill buy 2-3 different diameters of it to look for what works best for my rigs

    • @petejones6827
      @petejones6827 Před 3 měsíci

      @@rajenmunkeeRC the thing that makes rubber bands great is you can buy an assortment pack and there will be diff elasticity at the same size so its easier and faster to find that perfect stretch

    • @petejones6827
      @petejones6827 Před 3 měsíci +2

      @@rajenmunkeeRC put your strap on hold the rc upsidedown by the axles if your body pulls the bands and makes the shock extend its too stretchy but if it doesnt then take the rc and hold it by the body and chassis and you want the suspension to then drop all the way down this will give you the perfect tension for your straps imo

    I’ve been playing around with internal spring mod on a couple different builds but I like the idea behind the limit straps also. I’ll be giving it a try thank you sir and great video 👍🏻

      @@rajenmunkeeRC The internal spring mod works well I got the idea from 2FM RC. Cheap and effective 👌🏼but not as easy to adjust as the limit straps.

    A lot of the time if you limit just the nose of the truck what I have found is on side Hill you still get extreme body roll especially if you're using really long shocks which I don't I use it anywhere from a 32 to about a 36 in the front and then I play with the rear all the way up to about a 45 maybe even the big 450 on more of a buggy

      I still rock the center strap on FURY, and I'll probably replace it with my new style I've made in this video. The point I was making is the n95 mask material wears out to quick so a better looking, and better function material is what I'm after 😎

    Maybe internal springs

    • @rajenmunkeeRC
      @rajenmunkeeRC  Před 3 měsíci

      The only problem with internal springs is tuning them and if you want to change, you have to rip apart the shock or vice versa. Quick, on the fly change is what I'm aiming for

    • @TheLilhulk1111
      @TheLilhulk1111 Před 3 měsíci

      @@rajenmunkeeRC run them without oil first that way it’s not such a big problem you’ll get the idea of it. You might not get the speed or the slowness down but you’ll still get the idea of the shock and what you want.

  • @rafaelcid

    Do not bother about kids screaming in the background, nobody expects a noise-free background and unless they are with you in the same rum it doesnt really make any difference. It is more annoying most of the times to loose the track of the video because talking about the noises, rather than the noise itself. I honeslty dont care about ambient noise.
