This is me solving 4 vintage (factory made) puzzles. I had hardly touched them in 20 years and had no idea how I'd previously solved them so I just kind of made it up as I went along.
Yes these are rare the Dino was discontinued because the box says Rubik’s cube, with box estimated value is 150$, but beware as there are remakes , so only with box have value
I like how you sit for a minute on the roundy and I can see you tracing the circles around it and then bam, flurry of movement, and done. It's like you've thought your way through the puzzle and now actually rotating it is just a formality.
The Roundy looks frustrating. And the Dino Cube is probably the easiest puzzle I've found to solve intuitively. I have a virtual one, but I'd love a real one. Too bad they're so rare (somebody needs to start mass producing them again D: )
@redmustang83 hey wouldn't a cheese cube be cool? you have to turn the sides 2 match all the holes! (you know, cheese like emmentale that has spherical holes!
The Roundy puzzle is awesome. Too bad I can't find it anywhere at all. (Even if I did find one it would cost around 100 dollars which is a little too much unfortunally). Would still love to get it though. Does anyone know if it would be 3D printable and if so, could the costs be less than 100 dollars?
456Triton456 Every since I saw this video for the first time around a year ago I've been searching for a Roundy Puzzle. Recently I finally had the opportunity to buy one (4-Wing Stegosaurus version) from eBay and it arrived yesterday. It was quite expensive, but I'm really relieved and happy I finally have one in my collection. So a big thanks to Tony for this video, otherwise I wouldn't even knew this beautiful puzzle existed.
After I made that comment I also added a 3-wing version to my collection. I've probably solved each of them around 4-6 times, so not a lot. I mainly bought them because they turn so cool and as a collector's item. They were quite pricey, but I haven't regret buying either of them at all, especially after searching for them for more than a year. My motto with expensive puzzles is: "I only have to buy it once, and then I can enjoy it for a long, long time." (Luckily for my wallet, I've only had this thought three times so far; once with both Roundy Puzzles and once with my first 3D printed puzzle in my collection, which I've paid for a few days ago and will probably arrive in like 1.5 months.) PS: Here is my current collection: www.twistypuzzles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=26889

I heard that dino cubes were worth like millions each is this true my grandpa had one in box in his attic and he gave it to me I didnt know it was rare until now i shouldn't have played with it to diminish the value
Trickhaus is basically a 2x2 shape mod.
The trick house I still need in my collection..
I REALLY want one of the third one

I own #2 & #3 in 2022

Great job Tony, just great. I love your videos.
@brad0219 That's where the 2 mould halves fit together.
They all look awesome ..
wow these are so creative
the Roundy was EPIC!
No, Dino Cube has 12 pieces whereas there are only 6 Skewb centres. It's like a Rainbow Cube without the little triangular middles.
@redmustang83 Yes.
The only place you are likely to find them is ebay since they are all rare vintage puzzles from the 80s.
so nice
@porksnott lol me too. Some awesome looking puzzles.
I wish they still sold trickhaus's, They look like fun.
the trickhaus is awesome. want one
thank you
That Roundy looks like a nightmare.
Original Dino Cubes are worth around £300 but I am not selling mine.
awesome
he must have an amazing mind
Is there even any completely correct algorithm to solve the Roundy? Just looks so beast...
the dino cube and the rubiks cheese look nice
@kckeanu Not really.
Does anyone know of a place where I can get reproductions/copies of these puzzles?
dude that trakhus is beast!!!
@kckeanu The dino is easier than a 2x2x2 for me. All intuitive, no algorithms. That's what makes it fun: solving it by figuring it out yourself.
trick haus is kinda like a 2x2 fisher cube with a different solved shape
@andreloksos Not really
i think the last cube the "trickhouse" is like a 2x2 cube
@andreloksos it turns at a completly different angle
@tyjet66 No.

Which Is Your Favorite?
the trickhaus looks hard to visualize as a 2x2
The roundy seems the hardest one in there
They are worth around 400$
ebay occasionally
4.50 you're using ortega method! :D nice puzzle!
Nice
... Whoa

+Quuador Wow you are so lucky! Do you ever solve it?

lol i thought u were gonna solve the astrolabicus
If it was a 2x2x2 it would have 2 squares on each side, since it has 4 triangles on each side, it's more of a 4x4x4.
wow
@KaiXevandStanley When are you going to make another video?
It looks like you struggled a bit with the "Roundy" puzzle :P
Do you have a ghost cube?
@redmustang83 hey wouldn't a cheese cube be cool? you have to turn the sides 2 match all the holes! you know, cheese like emmentale that has spherical holes!
I want a Dino Cube so bad.
@redmustang83 hey wouldn't a cheese cube be cool? you have to turn the sides 2 match all the holes! (you know, cheese like emmentale that has sperical holes!
It was a brand name 4 color dino cube
Dino is like drewsephs star minx but thats a dodecahedron (megaminx) and this is a cube (2x2x2)
Dino cube is like a 2x2 skewb
The cut is not as deep as a skewb
man that cheese looks like it turns well. o.O
Is the Rubiks Cheese a Rubiks UFO in another shape?
if the rare trickhaus is factory made. is there a non rare one?
looks like the cheese doesn't rotate along its horizontal..
is the 2nd one like a rubicks ufo?
I want to buy the last one :/
lol I would have looked at the roundy and been like "wtf is this shit?"
How about a Siamese Dino-15x15x15?
I heard that dino cubes were worth like millions each is this true my grandpa had one in box in his attic and he gave it to me I didnt know it was rare until now i shouldn't have played with it to diminish the value
You should solve the secret rare ones instead. Or maybe the ultimate rares. Or maybe even the ghost rares! ;)
tony whats that on your hand at 5:04 O.o
How do you do this lol? you're like the biggest rubiks cube fan in the world.
wow at 4:48 i thought the trickhaur was already solved
I'm in Brazil. Where can I buy Roundy?
The title read "ultra rare" so it probaly costs more than it's worth.
You can get then in ebay
dino is a 2x2x2 but with triangles
whats the difference between a rubiks cheese and a rubiks ufo?
the solve position for the rubiks cheese is odd
is the rubiks cheese not just like the rubiks ufo?
69.000 subs!
@KaiXevandStanley as far as i know its like a skewb
roundy makes my brain hurt :P
the second is a pokewalker
wait a sec...U MADE THOSE????
o my god the last one was a house O.O
o__o
thats how my face looked like after every puzzle
rubiks cheese looks like a 2x6x6
u r GOD!!!!!!!
u r GOD!!!!!!!
u r GOD!!!!!!!
The Trickhaus looks fairly easy; it's just a modded 2x2x2, I think. Where can I buy it?
see title
hint hint: "ULTRA RARE PUZZLES" lol
I see the title, I was just stating my opinions, I thought it looked fairly easy, that's all
Fair enough
Tony Fisher Its a fair question. Dino cubes are exceptionally rare. They may have been reproduced.
the trickhaus one ic cool and i wish i had all 4 of them because they re cool! how much are those worth in american dollars! u gonna be rich
dino is like drewsephs starminx.
i've got a "roundy" any1 who know how to solve it?
I want some rubiks cheese! :D
@porksnott no it wasn't

hello
I'm french and I would like to find and buy an astrolabacus.
could you help me please ?
+Polpop Poplop ça fait super cher 200€ même si je suis fan😕
je sais bien et j'en rêve depuis des moi mais faut quand même être raisonnable c'est vraiment dommage
dino is much more easier than 2x2x2 cause when u solve 1 side it dosnt disturb wen ure going to solve the rest
roundy...i would break it
If u can solve all those rare ones, and I can't solve the original or 2x2... What am I? 😶
+Kate Al a normal person lol
A non cuber
2x2 is harder than you think, stop assuming that it's very easy
The 2x2 is a 3x3 where you only care about corners and ignore edges and centers. So it's easier.
YOU ARE OUR RESPECTED NON-CUBER
