- The Astrolabacus is widely regarded as the rarest, most sought after, valuable factory made twisty puzzle ever.
For regular twisty puzzles check out my puzzle store- tonyfisherpuzzles.net/PuzzleSh... .
HAHAHA I was actually wondering what was going through your mind when you were about to cut it. You got me Tony, you got me.
That looks like a really cool puzzle!
Very true but it does have a unique and very clever movement.
Very true, though that's damaged since he cut the corners off. If I was being pedantic I would also say that was not factory made, but I am not so I won't.
Wow this is so cool, but how did I get over here? I was watching piano videos.
This thing is so cool! I wish it wasn't rare!
You scared the crap out of me when you were going to cut it open :P It was a sigh of relief when you said "Just kidding" XD good one!
amazing puzzle .. great concept!
Wow, i really love these videos , because i love puzzles
It looks extremely delicate.
i really do hope that they are reproduced. it looks really cool and is the most unique turning i have seen in any puzzle
"Here it is in its original 1999 packaging. Let's cut it open" So funny.
That looks sick
35,972,733,468,672,000 combinations is a lot, but I agree with you, in my opinion, The Rubik's Cube has over a billion combinations.
It's fact, sir. The Rubik's cube has roughly 43 quintillion permutations.
Yeah, even from earth to pluto and vice-versa you are not yet halfway.
*****
What about Undecillion, Duodecillion, Tredecillion, Quattuordecillion, Quindecillion, Googol, Googolplex, Graham's Number etc etc?
***** I edited it now.
At 1:15, This was me:
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO GAAAAAHHH... Why would you do this to me Tony...
AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I almost died when he was about to cut it.
Amazing :DDD
*First look at puzzle*
Doesn't look that unique.
*Sees how it turns*
*Brain dissolves*
I like this puzzle's child-like feel
How much did you buy it for?
A private deal with collector I know.
By the way, how did you get this, and for how much?
I actually thought you were going to cut it...
Anyone else here a non cuber yet still watches these cubing videos?
Cuz I'm not one of them. I'm a cuber.
You dont know how many times i have seen "is snyone else here a non cuber?"
There's a clue in the title.
@TheBuilddozer That wasn't factory made.
sick
I wonder if anyone out there would sell those cause i collect rare and cool things and that is both rare and cool
Well then do you have your hands on a Lucario amiibo?
Dib you try to solve it?

I: nonononononono

I: Ahhhhhh
I have the exact same watch as yours - Casio (2524) DB - 37H !!!
Apparently these ar coming back into production in late summer this year. Better get your wallets ready!
This seems rather easy and intuitive to solve, just make trios of the balls then just rearrange the circuits...
I was told it's extremely hard but I have never tried.
Hi, Dan!
No.
I thought you where going insane when you where about to cut the packaging. Don't scare me like that.
And this is why 3D printing was invented
nnice!!!!!!!!
omg crazybad's comment :D
how can someone count how many combinations this have
35,972,733,468,672,000
Math, its simple.
Maybe computer simulations? I'm not sure.
Jesus christ someone needs to remake those things~!!! I'll pay 60bucks for one~!
You honestly scared me when you pretended to cut the plastic.
Just found one online for £49.99...
Be very careful. If it's the one I think it is it's not even been made yet. The guys been taken money for over a year and I am sceptical it will ever get made. I don't think it is a deliberate con, just bad business.
Tony Fisher i have bought one online at coolpuzzles.biz and they send me 2 other ones instead. I have send an email that i want the astrobalacus but they are not responding.

Threaten to open a Pay Pal dispute unless he refunds you or sends you one. If he does neither open the dispute as soon as you are able to. Every few months he updates his site saying it's coming very soon. This has been going on for 3 years exactly the same. As far as I know he hasn't even got a prototype. Please reply here with any updates to your situation.
wow
WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?!?!?!?!?!
I see eyes.
That puzzle is seriously cool do they make reproductions? I want one.
How come it's so rare? Because of how few there were produced?
Has there ever been a reproduction or spin off?
So if i made 1000 of these and auctioned them starting 100$, i will not get rich?
No. You have forgotten about the cost of making them.
"I will *not* get rich?"
Tony Fisher isn't just colored plastic?
G o l d e n B o y
Which has been made into a specific shape. Could you make one?
I have opened a claim bit hè promised that hè woud send the astrobalacus later tissue year. Zo ook close the claim.
You mustn't believe him. This has been going on for 3 years. It's not a normal Meffert's style delay. He might produce it one day but the whole thing looks very suspicious. I strongly advise you to pursue the claim. He is a great talker and I believed him at first but all these claims that it's coming soon can't be believed any more. PayPal gives you quite a while to launch a dispute so hang on a while if you like but I strongly advise you to do it before the dispute period expires.
Tony Fisher I was to late. You can only claim until 45 days. I will contact the designer Daniel Robinson.

I thought they had extended the time now though I am not certain. Please email him again and insist that he refunds you. Tell him if he doesn't he is breaking the law and you will report him and seek legal advice. It doesn't mean you have to but it may scare him into refunding you. If he then asks for the other puzzles back ask for postal costs before you send them and only after the refund is received. The guy needs to learn how to conduct business in a legal and ethical way.
I tried to contact Daniel a few years back but was unable to.
How do u get it
Was it made in China?
+Old McDonald I think it was USA but I am not sure.
4 years later... still cant find one.
comic sans

who opens the rarest cube/twisty puzzle/brain puzzles in the world it is more valuable in its original packaging
+Deadly_Pikachu If you bothered to pay attention you would see that the packaging pops apart with no damage. In fact it had been opened and used prior to me getting it. After the video I put it back inside so it was exactly the same.
Most sought after*.
Not as rare as the First 3x3 ever made by Erno Rubik
