Nietzsche’s story is actually much sadder than that. While the guy was dying of syphillis and slowly going insane, his fascist sister and brother in law edited his writings to support their antisemitic tendencies. It was along time before anyone other than honest German scholars really understood his writing. Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

Ricky is a badass
I had a friend with a dog that liked to be choked, it was the weirdest thing ever. She was incredibly smart, well-trained, and human-like; and my friend wasn't a shitty person so it took him a few years to figure out what she wanted.
But sometimes she would beg for her leash (she didn't need it, she was perfectly capable of heeling), then stand at the door while you pulled on it for ten seconds or so. Then she would go back to normal and go along for the walk, totally happy.
Then sometimes she would put her throat in your hand out of nowhere and do an uncharacteristically aggressive growl until you choked her a little bit, again for about ten seconds (lightly of course). Then she would hop on your lap. It was bizarre.
She was a rescued street dog, so it does make you wonder what kind of weird hijinks she was getting up to on the street.
I did not expect to read such a story in this comment section...But it is quite fascinating. Like cats which go crazy about catnip and get entranced afterwards. Also Jaguars eat chacruna leaves with dmt in it, and dolphins eat some kind of underwater hallucinogenic plant, I've heard.
by the way, did you know crows skateboard/snowboard for fun?
You do have to wander what these poor rescue animals had to deal with.
My sis got a rescue dog from a hoarder situation. Cute little "mop" dog, very friendly but coward horribly only when I approached it the first time I met it. Didn't act like this with anyone else. An hour or so later, sitting on the sofa talking to sis, I went to cross my legs unaware the dog was beneath me and wound up kicking the dog quite harshly by mistake. She immediately jumped into my lap as if she were my long lost pupper so ecstatic to see me. Poor thing, what did she go thru?
@Clifton Mcnalley Yeeeeah calling bullshit, if the dog grew up in an abusive household and you accidentally hit it quite bad, it's going to react negatively, not like "YAY dad's home!" Trust me, have raised a few, you can tell by how they flinch to your motions, even when you go to pet them. Don't know what you're going on about with the dog suddenly going in your lap once you hit it...

When a dog is full grown before you take it in, you can't know what it has been through - just like you have no knowledge on this actual, true experience I've just written about. You call BS on me, but not on a dog that enjoys being choked? Hmm. You're free to believe what you like, but - you're just wrong. Fortunately, your ignorance isn't my problem.

I think more people need to laugh at the Holocaust. Not because it was funny, it wasn't. But instead because if you don't, you end up were we are today.
I recommend highly the time ghost history channel. They’re currently doing ww2 week by week done by Indy Neidell. And they have a sub series called the war against humanity done by Spartacus Olsen. The coverage is in real time, and when you hear what the 3rd reich did. What imperial Japan did. The soviets. The allies. It really really drives home how bad it was. Obviously the soviets, the reich and the imperial Japanese are by far the worst and what you think you know, barely scratches the surface. But the talk about everyone. There isn’t just blood on the hands but an entire abattoir on them.

The difference between what Ricky and Jimmy's jokes and racist jokes is the racist joke is ment to offend, that's the joke and it's only funny to the in crowd. Jimmy didn't intend to offend anyone he was just being as edgy as he thought he could get away with. I think most of the offense at Jimmy is coming from racists that are offended that they can't do their jokes without being called out on it.
