Back in the 80s, a friend split with his wife. They were both English, and knowing he disliked the Scottish accent, she moved to Glasgow taking the kids with her. Now his adults sons have the best Glaswegian accent ever.

I’m from Liverpool and me and me mates were on holiday in Tenerife and had a blast with the lads from Glasgow, this was 1998 anyway we always kept in touch and i had my stag night in Glasgow which was just brilliant and they all came down to my wedding and now most of them are married we all have a holiday somewhere we’re all together and i just love them all 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 with all the kids it’s been even better

The real reason the romans didnt invade Scotland was the impossible accent.
Nobody has invaded Scotland and succeeded. England has tried about 3 times, Rome tried twice, Norway has tried, elsewhere in Scandinavia has tried (probably Denmark as they captured all of England back in the day) .. nobody has taken us.......Until now with the man in charge of the SNP.
