So many rude comments about the mirror đ€Šââïž I put note in video: Kiki is bonded to a mirror. He spent almost a year with it. After I moved him to the aviary he's afraid of other birds and prefers to stay with mirror. I don't want to separate him suddenly from it or he will get depressed and probably heart broken because his "bird" left him đ
Oh. So sad as his friend left him
@@harshithakallepalli5774 - I moved the mirror to the aviary. I hope that he will start liking one of the budgies so I can take it out
@@dennythebudgie hmmm. I hope so,he will soon become friend with any of the budgie.
Hello ur a good carer for your birds u know what ur doing ignore the hate comments! Im thinking of getting 2 more budgies so obviously i need a bigger cage so i will have 4 are these dimentions ok 131 x 78 x 52 cm keep up the good work
Thatâs what I was thinking.donât worry you take amazing care of your birds!
I'm glad to see Kiki getting healed. Very important to spot those mites early to prevent damage on our friends! đŠâ€
Seeing Kiki's first flight into the aviary was the sweetest thing!
Wow bravo! Sad sam i ja nesto naucio od tebe :) Nisam nikad imao iskustva sa bolesnim tigricama â€ïž B R A V O

Lol I used google translate to translate it. Alen AxP said: now I have learned something from you to.I have never had experience with sick tigers. Denny the budgie said: Iâm glad if so. Iâm unlucky so I just treat animals.đ
Kiki such a pretty birb.
Shout out to Beggy đđčand Pastel.
The oil is very important to apply over all the areas with mites. For these mites still have to breath air, so when they burrow into the birds skin... the leave their path open for air. The oil soaks into the skin and the mite's burrow holes, which suffocates and kills the mites. It takes about two weeks to kill off all the mites in total.
I used to have budgies back in the 1980s, and one of them had mites, too. That's how I learned about using olive/castor oil.
(edited for spelling)
Thank you
Hiya do you have to apply oil daily? Ive got âspot onâ treatment with ivermectin in it and its two doses you do one drop and then if it does weeks you give it another drop 4 weeks later, ive just for the furst time put vaseline on her feet and beak to suffocate them but do i need to do it daily
@@elliepayne6999 Yes, daily.
Hi, do castor oil and ivermictin helps with feather lice?
@@fria4498 I don't think castor oil will do anything to help rid your birds of feather lice.
A spray of pyrethrin might help, but I'd recommend talking to a veterinarian.
Kiki looks so healthy and he have no mites on his face now..... and it is just because of u dĆŸermina........u took great care of him đđđđđđđ

Thank you for sharing this info. Much appreciated. đ
This is really very helpful âĄ
Those who are worried for their budgie having mites..
Let me tell them
I have tried it on my budgie and it actually works.
Take vaseline in a huge amount and hold your budgie firmly and apply it wherever the mite is. Apply on the whole nose..
Repeat it every day 2 times a day.
After that take neem leaves ( almost 50 leaves) . Boil it.. And strain it using strainer. Then bath your budgie for that for many days..
Soon you will see changes..
Use Neem water and VASELINE everyday...
I have tried this to my budgie and soon I got good result.. Try it now...
Does this really works??
How long did it take?
Denny luv ur videos keep it up đ„°đ„°đđ„
Thank you for this video Iâm sure it will help many people in the future including me â€ïž
I hope that that Kiki is recovering wellđđđđ. Take care of himđđ. Get well soon Kikiđđ
7:19 Shakira: what is this bird doing here?
Well done! đ I also recommend ground pollen instead of 'synthetic' vitamins drops (1/4 teaspoon on seeds, sprouts or with eggfood) - contains vitamins, minerals, proteins and it's natural đ
Kiki is gorgeous. Such a wonderful little creature. Blessing to all of your little birds/ pets , to your family and to you.
You are such a kind and loving person. I am happy that I found your Channel. I don't have a budgie. I have a cockatiel .
Does it matter? No. We all love our birds, your birds and animals.

he is so cute !! :)
When people buy budgies they need to do some careful research.
I have just written to one major Australian pet franchise to make three suggestions.
That they make it clear to their franchisees that budgies sold as pets should -
1. If affected begin treatment for mites before sale and purchasers should be provided with a small syringe of ivermectin (Avimec or similar) to continue the treatment and a flyer providing instructions on what to do.
2. Leg rings should be removed before sale.
3. If birds are clipped make sure no blood feathers are cut.
I have paid $25 each recently to rescue 4 budgies with obvious mite infestations.
Another $25 to buy a bird who will be going to the vet tomorrow for removal of a tight leg ring which is doing damage (circulation still ok, have only had him 3 days).
Another $25 to grab a little soul actively bleeding from a cut blood feather who did not appreciate a journey home in the car with my sister applying pressure to said feather. There was a significant bleed which was pretty obvious on a white budgie!
Fortunately they are all safe and will join other budgies in the bird room flight cages when various treatments and quarantine are finished. So Bill, Charlie, Regulus, Luna, Roger and Deaky all got lucky, but I canât keep buying budgies!
Thankyou for such information it's very helpful for my budgie
Cute kiki!
Nice video! I hope your birds will be ok.

Amazing dear
You always rock
By the way I have a budgie with small beak is their any problem?
One of the birbs in our community cage in the hallway lemon the budgie has scaly face mites I recognize from your video now we will have to find treatment thank you for sharing.
I feel like my budgie has it for some reason
My fastest click on video. đ
Poor guy, glad he's ok and you managed to treat him in time.
Is there more than one type of these mites? Cause i think my budgie might have them but his scales are just on the nose and not as visible as in the case of this budgie. Also, should i give him ivermectin or is that only in the more advanced cases?
Kiki so cute
Kiki is so lucky that he has you
Ty for the video
Poor baby đ„șđ

Well Done đđ»â
You are a very wonderfull pet owner.

My budgie has this symtom
What happened to my birb 3 years ago it had black things on its forehead and in its food I think itâs critters but I was dumb enough to not call for help ):
Tq for uploading Äermina sis
Kiki is cute đŠđđâș
kiki is sooo cuteee i am sure he will be your best friend just like benji. i miss benji.
Is there anything else I can use for mites instead of ivermectin because they dont ship it where I live . I saw something about the coconut oil in the video . Does it heal the same ?
I have ivermectin 1% to take orally. The mixing ratio is 1 ml to 5 liters of water. If I calculate correctly, that is 1 drop in 250 ml of water. Would that be enough against the scaly legs? I'm afraid I'll overdose if I also give a drop in the neck. Some people say that you can drop it on the place where the mites are.
Hi dzermina, please answer cause my bird is doing watery poop
I done research but nothing change in the watery poop
He is acting like normal eating playing and also sometimes popping normal and sometimes poops watery
And yes he is also drinking more water
Please tell what to do?
Is there any way to cure mites in home without a vet or pet store?
I have two untamed budgies, and one of them gets really aggressive at night and attacked the other budgie and made his beak bleed, luckily someone helped me catch them, but is there an easier way then just grabbing them? They literally fly all over, and I don't want to lose more of their trust. I've had them for a few months, but I feel like they will never trust anyone's hand, no matter how long I've tried, which is upsetting.
How many time a day/weeks do you give him medicine ? And how long does the treatment take ? Sorry i tried my best to understamd your video
