Hi. My 722.9 transmission in a e280 cdi shifts pretty hard from 1-2, 2-3 when I give it half or full thottle. No fault codes. I have changed the oil and filter, also drained the converter in the process, but not flushed. What do you think is the problem? Do the trans need a flush? Thanks

hi! i have a 2006 Mercedes E350. I took my car in to my rusty mechanic. My car wouldn't go past 2nd gear (30 mph). He told me the my valve body is bad, and i should replace the entire transmission. He gave me the manufacture code of 2716. Along with the component name of Y3/8Y4. Shouldn't i have to replace the solenoid only and not the entire Valve Body or the transmission? just looking for some insight.

my R320 Cdi 2007 European model went into limp mode the codes are 2768, 0718, 2767. I have taken out the TCM and sent it to a company in Van Nuys, Ca. for repair. But after watching you video code 0718 seems to relate to the valve body as as pose to the Transmission Control Module? Thanks

Hello I have a 2007 S550 4 matic and my car is doing exactly what the car is doing in the video that you have posted. I wanted to know can the speed sensors just be replaced or does the torque converter have to be replaced for the car to drive normally. My car only goes up to about 35 mph. I believe that the car is in limp mode. I am trying to get it fixed but I don't really want to get it done at Mercedes dealer. Can this be fixed by a authorized Mercedes mechanic

Does the BMW E65 750 ZF 6HP26 have the same control for the torque converter. The torque converter clutch does not engage on off. But is modulated until a certain rpm is reached? I have seen one where the Rpm indicator fluctuates like the car does not know if to engage the lock up or not.

I have a w164 ML500, how do you remove the heat transmission shield that covers the 5 pin connector. So far it looks like I have to drop the front propeller shaft and even then I can barely get to those 4 bolts that hold the heat shield in. Any tips? Looks like I'm gonna have to make a special tool with a torx30 just to get the bolts out.

my 97 C230 went into limp home mode way after I replaced the transmission control module. It was still bucking and stalling. Then after replacement of mass air sensor went to limp. Since then no communication between scanner and ECU. How do I rule in or out the torque converter or even the new TCM?

My GL320cdi is throwing a speed sensor code PH3320. Are there many sources for repair of the existing transmission control assembly?

Hi there. I have an '09 W204 with the 722.9 transmission that developed a whirring type noise related to vehicle speed, not RPM. Dealer said it's a bearing in the transfer case and the whole trans needs to be replaced (at a cost of $6,500). With 96K on the odometer, that doesn't seem like a worthwhile repair. Just looking for any suggestions other than replacement. Thanks for any help.

mine is a 2008 R320 with same transmission, I don't have any codes coming out, but I'm experiencing the shuddering/shutter that you have described; especially on slight incline, and at speed. Do you think it's the torque converter or valvebody with TCU? or both? I hope you'll have time to reply. Thanks!
