Did You lower it or remove it? I say lowered it or flipped down. I want to "remove" mine.

It should have been titled lowering the mid gate. Removing it would be possible but not recommended. It keeps the vehicle from getting water in the cab area if it rains. You would have to somehow get under the plastic cover and access the hinge to remove it. I would suggest someone with technical expertise to do so.
