Rangers fans are loyal to a union that has existed for over 300 years. The Queen herself is half Scottish and I'm proud to be united with Scotland as an Englishman. We're better together. Scotland has more power now than it ever has as part of the UK. Times are changing yes bit to break up our great union would be a disaster for both Scotland and England.

As an England fan, I’m not offended at all. I was at Wembley for the games in 2013 and 2016 and their anthem got booed too. Great atmosphere. And no trouble with the fans at all. They should have the fixture every year at the end of the season like they used to.

Beside Scotland didn't make it to an international tournament since many years the rivalry is still living und will live forever. I'm neither English nor Scottish but you have to admit that this game has the longest tradition when it comes to international games. It's like FC Bayern München vs. TSV 1860 München in Germany. Bayern plays in the Bundesliga since they arrived there in 1965 and 1860 travelled a lot between the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga and a few years ago they had to go to the 4rth division because they were bankrupt. In the 4rth league they played against Bayern II and the stadium was always sold out. Now they are back in the 3rd division and are on their way to contend for the promotion back to the 2nd Bundesliga. Their last league game against Bayern was in 2004 in the Bundesliga and their last real competition game against Bayern was in the German Cup in 2008. They didn't play a lot in the last years but the rivalry is still living and lived before they met in the Bundesliga for the first time.
Bayern won a German Championship in 1932 before the Bundesliga was founded. 1860 never did but they won the Bundesliga in Bayern's first ever Bundesliga season in 1965/1966. Bayern's first ever Bundesliga game was an away game against 1860 which 1860 won 1-0. The oldest derby in Germany and still one of the biggest is the "Frankenderby" between Nürnberg and Fürth. They competed a lot for championships in the 20s and 30s and Nürnberg was one of the teams that were in the Bundesliga when it was founded. They won it in 1968 and were German Record Champions until 1986. Fürth never made it to the Bundesliga until 2012 and went back down to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013 but the rivalry is still still living because Nürnberg came down a lot to the 2nd Bundesliga and when they didn't play each both sides found a way to hate each other. It's not only about success. It's about the passion over generations.

Flower of Scotland is the Unofficial national anthem of Scotland, the official anthem is God save the Queen.
England don't have a unofficial anthem, but it has been debated.
For now they use the British anthem.
The British anthem is sung in Scotland but at the same time it is seen as English rule and the suffering Scottish faced while losing their freedom hense the booing.

And I know Victoria was half German, GSTQ's melody comes from an old Prussian march (now a days, UK partakes such melody with Liechtenstein, for example)
