Hell yeah Jake. The number of followers have bumped up quite a bit. here for you every step of the way.
Good stuff buddy!
Just roll with it Jake. Nice getting real. Thanks for not being so fancy!
I love that you show the bad with the good. This shows what is life. I LOVE THAT! Keep trudging on!
Corpral sends his love.....
The hair looks fine, at least you have some. I’m one of those that thinned on top and fringed around the edges. Good show! When the world gives you lemons make lemonade!
Excellent video dude!
Hi Jake. Loved your video. Being a professional chef for over 20 years, my only advice about your breeding. I’ve never used eggs, with that said, the way to get a really great crispy breading is a couple ways. 1. Make the wet flour just a bit thinner than you made, about the consistency of that really good store bought chocolate milk. Then add your seasoning to it. In another container, just have dry flour with the same seasonings. Roll the meat in the dry flour first, coating with a light coating. Then drop it in the wet flour mixture. Then back into the dry mixture. Be sure to have your oil already hot before you start frying. Again Jake. Great video, love the realism of how it works good or bad out there. Keep up the great work man 🤗
Opossum legs.. salt and pepper as you fry helps to season also! Mama approved! Great video! Got to come see you soon.. I will bring you something to fix!
"I'd cut it into 4 pieces automatically" that's a real dad right there lol
Subscribed from corporal corner recommendation and very glad I did!
Following from corporal Corner request 👍
Good stuff brother...Real and Raw
Way to keep it real Jake. Back in my early army days when we would have to set up our shelters, we would dig an oval trench around the entire shelter to allow water to pass. The excess dirt covered the bottom of our shelters on the outside.
I was going to say the same thing about trenching around our shelter halves in my Army days.
Stay hard Jake. You having the guts to show what it’s like every day is more real than an orchestrated once a week production that fails to portray reality. You can do this so keep it real and keep plugging away. We are rooting for you!!
I appreciate the support!!
@@buckeyebushcraft hi jake , new subscriber here, I've been a subscriber to Shawn Kelly's channel since he had 300 subscribers .
He's recommended your channel , that's good enough for me...
I look forward to watching your videos.
The second way to get a crispy breading would be a little bit more zesty taste. Use whatever kind of mustard you like, French’s or spicy, it’s up to you and your preference. Coat the meat with the mustard, then in the dry flour with the seasoning of your choice. It makes a fabulous crispy crust. Thank you for sharing your videos. 🤗
Corporal Kelly sent me here. Glad e did. Great content. Looking forward to the next videos.

Hey 👋 just came over by Corporal's Corner suggestion. You are appreciated, I'm looking forward to checking out your videos and I thank you for your content ahead of time. I enjoy learning and watching folks put their best foot forward in life and earn an honest living, and provide for their families. I pray 🙏 the best for you and your's. I'm old can't do alot I don't know much about making videos nor about editing. I got this channel in order to encourage people and to be able to watch videos without being knocked off told my viewing time is up as that was what used to happen, when I didn't have the channel yrs ago. By the way I know, if I had someone here patient enough to teach me while I do the work I'd do okay. Meanwhile you'll can carry the torch of teaching.
Awesome video my friend
Corporal's Corner sent me and I am glad he did.
Thank you!
Great vid man. Can’t wait for the next livestream!
Jake, I know exactly what you're talking about. My motto is, "Learn and Practice" Bushcrafting, Prepping, and Survival Skills. Battery, Lense, problems, I've experienced it before.
Great video jake! Dont get discouraged! I was like you many years ago! Hiking, camping, fishing, building shelters, etc! You are a true inspiration! Thank you for your great videos! I am just getting back into all this after many years! Old man and his dog! Lol
Keep it up Jake you doing an honest job with your video and comments your sharing

Don’t worry about bad days-that’s just life. It’s inspiring to see you problem solve and carry on. Won’t always be rainy (or snowy where I live) and the traps won’t always be full. This is real. And I love it!
"Some Days Peanuts Some Days Shells" looks like you got some shells!
I took Dave's recommendation to check out your channel and enjoy your fresh approach to camping/bushcraft. I also caught the Corporal's shout out as well. I've watched several of your older videos and am following the tent series. Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
I have found while cutting brush for thatching roofs and walls a saw blade works much better. Just gather with one hand and saw it off. Agreed anyone that has done any time in the bush has ran into failure. We Adapt Improvise and Overcome just as you are doing. The Couch survivalist do not understand failure. Keep up the great work Jake. And by the way possum sucks. I absolutely do not like it but I guess in a survival situation it's calories.
Reality TV. at its best ❗👍👍🏆🥇🇺🇲

For breading, just dip meat in salt water, then after most water drips off, gently roll meat in plain flour. Breads better than watery flour. Did it all the time in the fifties when we didn't have eggs.
Good to know!
Crp. sent me.
Came over from corporals conner
Did a 4 to 5 inch trench all the way around your tent
Hay you got a good Chanel back away from the camera and explain a little bit more and show it more. Keep it up please.

Hello Dad!
Anyone who has spent time outside camping, hunting or fishing knows not everyday is a good day. How you handle it can make you grow or give up.
Corn Starch for personal hygiene.
Just found your channel and first video I watched. It's good content, didn't know about the flour trick for the hair. As I am a large knife and saw guy , what was that larger looking blade when you was cutting the broom sage ?
Thank you! It’s a Jeff White Forest Tool. They are no longer made
Corporal guide me here.
