- Hey guys!
Me and Johannes want you to throw BETTER forehands after this video. As a complete beginner there was many basics things I learned from Johannes and his 25 years of playing disc golf. Forehand has been requested by many of you and in this video I try to improve mine. I think I´ve tried one forehand throw in my life prior to this.
Let me know if it helped you or if we missed something. Have a nice day 😀 /Jonathan

Hey! Here's some very nice stuff for you 😀🤘 /Jonathan

This is so good that when I practiced the motion in my bedroom a dent magically formed in my wall.
🤣 pure gold 👆
this is literally one of the best comments here!
Too funny! 😂
@Luka Ojala that's what I said. Can't be explained.
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Seriously dig these videos. Dude seems open minded and chill. Seeing him make the mistakes I need to correct is more relatable than seeing pros throw perfectly and talk about what newer players do. I wish I could add more likes
that´s very nice of you. Glad you like it :). /Jonathan
@Ryland Peter It's great I can tell that this video really helped me and my bad forehand/sidearm throws alot. 5/5
Love Hans and Frans!
I second this. Way more relatable.
I love that there is an actual beginner in these videos. There are too many videos telling beginners what to do and not to do from someone who already plays perfectly. However, it's far more effective to see someone who is just learning trying out techniques and practices. I can completely relate to the mistakes and the "a-ha!" moments as well. You're very appreciated for making these videos and for helping us all!
Thank you, Tonyelle ❤ /Jonathan
@@Latitude64 That comment under yours about a giveaway isn't really from you, is it Jonathan? Think they're scamming ppl. Smh.

You can report
8:08 is why I will play disc golf for the rest of my life! Such a great feeling to pure a shot!
I agree :) /Jonathan
That shot was amazing.
I literally just bought my first discs two days ago and haven't thrown one yet, these videos are great
The touching window shot of Tomas, tender and heartfelt.
What helped me develop my forehand was to go to my favorite local course and throw every shot forehand, except my putt. Don’t keep score. Just keep throwing until you find the discs that work for you. Keep the elbow close to your body and flick the wrist, and follow through.
Great advice. Practice practice practice.
"so we're back at.. here" :D
The transition from practice to course scenes is *chef's kiss*
I love seeing a noob learning from day one. I look forward to more of your progress.
I´m glad you like it :) /Jonathan
You guys and you swedish-english had me laugh off the chair! Love it! Cheers from Norge ;)
Haha that´s great :). Glad you like it. /Jonathan
rofl, the fade to greyscale and sad music at 0:13 was such a nice touch.
8:08 When you see someone fall for the game!
All it takes is one good shot.
Lol
8:08 “light bulb” 💡💡💡
Perfect videos, nothing too much, nothing too little, some people know how to do stuff right and a bit of good humor as a cherry on top. And you learn new stuff, perfect, just keep it up guys.
"I'm so focused right now" (hits tree) So relatable 😂 Thanks for the vid.
This series seriously helped me a lot to devellop my discgolf game.
Ikr! Been a social level player a few years. Happy that can play par level. For grins started watching these videos and putting the lessons into play. A few strokes per round better now. The fun level increased too. For simple reason that a few holes that I played for par now play to at least have a look/putting second circle.
The reaction difference between Tomas when you nailed the long throw and Johannes when you hit the S-curve .... Priceless 😂 "Oh my God..."
Fantastic job on this tutorial series! Jonathan's struggles are soooo relatable, and so are the solutions provided by Tomas, and now Johannes.
Glad you like it :) /Jonathan
Paul Ulibarri has a great episode of "Down the Fairway" on how to learn how to flick the disc properly. Use a putter and forehand the disc no more than 20 feet but spin it as much as possible. I call it the helicopter drill. If you do the drill correctly the disc will almost float in the air like a helicopter.
that video helped me alot with my forehand too :D its amazing!
Thank you for the recommendation I just went to check it out. I think this video combined with that one gives me a good enough foundation to actually start training my forehand.
Wow keep ‘em coming guys!
This is what I need a lot of help with, keep up the great work!
Been waiting for the forehand episode 😊
Forehand is like writing in chinese for me. I can kind of throw upshots forehand but off the tee my forehand is non existent. Gonna try some of these tips.
I feel your pain
Love these videos. I started using my forehand last year and finally got to where I trusted it, and am now looking to improve it. And these videos really help with that. Keep them coming
Thank you so much for the awesome tips... You guys are awesome!
Good simple instructions! Thanks!
Always entertaining and informative!
Johannes' "pistol" grip explanation was perfect, changing to that finally gave me a reliable forehand shot! Thanks Johannes!
Love what you guys do
Thanks a lot
I love how simple and clear the instructions were. Just very casual and attainable!
super cool video.. love the commentary and interaction
Jonathan, helpful and awesome, as always ! Thank you !
I always found the easiest way to remember hyzer/anhyzer is thinking that the outside edge of the disc is pointing downward for hyzer, and vice versa.
Super lucid, I'm happy to see a standstill forehand as the foundation. A standstill backhand video changed my game forever years ago, this surely will help my baseball twisted forearm.
New to the series, ton of win here, thank you !
Another great video. I've been trying to improve my forehand for a long time. This video just gave me another tidbit to try. Many other videos I see tell you to bend at your waste to control hyzer and anhyzer. This video emphasizes the wrist. I'm going to work on that. Thanks.
Good stuff, great to see the learning pay off in the one video too!
I think I learned a lot in this video. Thanks.
i saw a video on how to throw a forehand on another channel, I stopped the video and came here because I knew it would be better! Thanks for the awesome content!
The last forehand was world class damnit! :)
Thank you, sir 😀👍 /Jonathan
Big Jerm gives a tip in a Brodie video to open your front foot up parallel with your shot. This guy says more of a 45deg thing, but he’s capping hip power and risking a knee injury if he REALLY connects hips into the flick.
No knock on the video; it’s great for beginners. But if you want power, open up the foot.
I max flick 400. Jerm’s tip has put a smoothness into my shots I’ve never felt before.
Also my back foot kicks out like a bowler does. Helps to stabilize my follow through.
Stay low. Condense your frame. It helps to maintain balance when you explode.
✌🏼
Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much this!!! My 1st day is tmrw, and you folks have been so much help I cannot thank you enough! Hope your game is doing even better a year later! Thanks again!!!
Amazing video. Gonna go practice my forehand throw now!
Awesome mates! Especially with the talk about disc stability in there :)
Love these videos. Super entertaining and informative. Thanks so much.
Love it. Around the 2 minute part is funny, a lot of it is lol
I love these videos!
excellent video, thank you
Another great one!
Just picked up disc golf myself during this pandemic. I needed something to do to keep my mind busy during these wild times... I’ve played one full 18 course so far and have just been watching videos.
I definitely like the forward throw more than the back hand. Thank you for this video
Great as always. I cannot stand the other disc golfer videos that try to teach you. This is entertaining and informative. This is real teaching.
These videos are great! Keep 'em coming!
Thank you, Scott! /Jonathan
Johannes is a good teacher. I loved the "Oh my god." When he got the throw right.

Dude great forehand drive at the end. Props dude those are my favorite angles to throw "forehand anny with an over stable disc" i have great success with the falchion in opto. One of my favorite drivers and is a disc I've never heard anyone talk about.
Great format of this video. Entertaining and still instructional. Good job guys! 😀

Thank you very much :)
Great! Thank you!😊 Good advices as in every video!👍
Thank you Daniel :) /Jonathan and Johannes
FH driving is awesome. I casually outdrive my BH and don't have to worry about my footwork. Finally seeing the discs turn how they are supoosed to feels so good.
I'd love if Latitude 64 could list the flat or domeyness of their discs in their shop like OTB does, it would help me pick up the best possible forehand discs.
I love watching your evolution man you're going to evolve into a great disc golfer with all these great players giving you these tips it's just a matter of time love you again Mobile Alabama USA
Thank you, Chris. I´m glad you like seeing the progress. Have a great day! /Jonathan
