This is clearly the R32 engine and not the VR6 ... R32 = 3.2L ... VR6 = 2.8L ... besides the sound is typically R32 ... the VR6 doesn't have this distinct sound ...
Norbert Telaar when this video was made the car had a 24v vr6 not an r32. You'll see the r32 motor swap in another video I made. The car currently has a 3.6 liter in it.
Vr6 is just the name they give at the way the pistons are mounted 15°angle 6 inline so it's not an inline 6 and not a v6 so vr6 the 2.8,2.9,3.2 and 3.6 they are all vr6 engines ;)

the 24 v is the motor of golf4 6V , the 12v is the famous vr6 of mk3 and corrado !!
ps: 24v v6 is anevolution of vr6 12v
