Since they have talked about how long it takes to make any visual changes to abilities, you can tell a lot of these had already been made for the PVE hero trees.
It’s smart that they’re resourceful but it also really hurts knowing I’d be having the time of my life on support Sombra

Many of those Ana changes are definitely an experimental test lol
Also, Mercy detonating corpses instead of rez (altho maybe it would fit more as an aoe heal/buff ability in the actual game)
@@bohdanpyzh2712 I really don't want rez to be taken away though. Her healing is so bad that it's the only way to keep allies alive. Push damage boost, let them die, revive.

@@kirby4432 Yep, her healing is the worst in the game. Your focus should be to get as much damage amplified as possible & only heal when needed (Ex: your other support is dead, you're close to getting your ultimate, someone's being dived & is critical)
Your other support should top people off. All you're doing is stealing ult charge from your other support player, which is bad. If a fight is over, don't heal unless your other support already has their ultimate, so that they can get it faster.
You should have a "main dmg boost target", usually a hitscan or flying hero. You should heal when they reload. You should also dmg boost when you know your teammates do a lot of damage. (Ex: bastion turret form, reaper very close to enemy team, almost all ultimates)
I recommend you watch Skiesti or Niandra, they have tips on how to play her.
She excels at a pocketing playstyle. Her goal is to amplify her DPS, not to keep them alive.
Note that you should heal more if youre playing with a zenyatta or Lucio.
You should be very careful when resurrecting. Sometimes it can be detrimental to your team. Ex: rezzing someone into a 2v5 fight is just stalling your team.
Also be very careful with your guardian angel usage. Normally Mercy has a 1.5 second cooldown, but if you jump or crouch during GA you get a 2.5 second cooldown. This can cost you the game, try to only jump/ crouch IF NEEDED.
I peaked diamond 4 as a Mercy one trick and these tips really helped me out. If you're interested, watch videos on CZcams. Cya ^^

@@dafke5124 Its way better!! Maybe the multiplier is lower but it moves and is permanent until destroyed at which point you get a speed boost passive until its back again. Rein is insane especially with Mercy
I imagine that it would be a nightmare on the backend, but I wish that they'd put all of these limited events, barring the holiday ones, in an arcade playlist at some point. It would be really fun to just sit in a random list of these for a few hours at a time.

See I always figured this is what they've been doing with their events. Using different things for different characters to see if it's actually good for them. Like some of these buffs just genuinely seem like a good idea for the character. Like the rein speed increase when shield is broken.
Hopefully this means they’re open to bringing them in after looking at all this data. They would be such healthy and refreshing no brainers that would actually make Rein not only viable but fun to play WITH instead of feeling like a burden you have to babysit

Wait Zarya just got her Talents and alternate Ult from Heroes of the Storm. The changes to Doom's primary abilities and Rein's shield and added passive, put those through. Virus could work if you reduce the damage it deals, making Ganymede a scouting abilitiy sounds fun, Tracer changes are interesting, Widow sounds like a bit but ult sounds cool, Ana rifle with crits is neat, Brig burn they could do if her shield has more health, Harmony is a W but Discord is a BIG L. This is a solid ability test mode
I'm not sure Ana's headhots or mobility would be easy to balance in the base game, but I love having shorter CD on nade as well as being able to partially heal through the enemy antinade. That one I would not be sad about seeing in base game.

The best change is the ult of bastion that invoques slicers
The rein change where rein should be able to shift shields from defense to a damage booster is much needed in the normal game
This mode is actually really fun. I love the changes they made, nothing to unbalanced or oppressive, but not easy to deal with either. And honestly, I wouldn’t mind if the changes to Ana and Sombra made it into the actual game. Like turning sombra into a support would be an interesting idea and it works fairly well.

The souls are a joke, especially if you’re tracer and they one shot you.
Free kills if she pops it in the middle of a team fight when you have rein
Turn sombra into a support and give her this kit. her virus can heal allies or dot enemies. hacking allies heals them and buffs them. remove hacking enemies. honestly, yes. an invis support is way more intimidating than an invis dps and honestly, sombra needs kicked off dps with how obnoxious her real kit is.
As a tank and zen player I really like the zen changes
1- the boosted healing when dealing headshots is really really nice and rewards good aim
2- i think the poison discord orb is straight up better and more healthy for the game, its not a 'tankus deletus' button and its really fun to spread poison everywhere when you hit a headshot on someone with it, i would give up the damage boost for the poison or something similar
3- the ult is kinda meh tbh, trans is fine and the new ult is just another emp almost, i dont think it needs any changes
That would be a good zen rework if they are testing new abilities for these characters

And some of the random abilities from a few heroes sound like they were from the 2 previous April fools patches. Kinda dope.
A bunch of these Mirrored versions are way more fun and actually feel like developed and entertaining characters
Idk how they’re so capable of making amazing changes and characters yet have their game in the same state for 3 seasons
I get why they don't just add them into arcade (having to pay for servers and all), but I wish they would replace the more boring and less played gamemodes with not much variety. Low gravity is novel for 2 seconds and then you never touch it, total mayhem is still completely broken, and no limits either and in the entire team picking a broken hero, or just open queue. These gamemodes (Like hogs pachimari event or prophunt) would be awesome to have in weekly rotation slot instead of the 3 same bad arcade gamemodes weve had for YEARS.
More fun doesn't mean more balanced lol. Also these wacky changes will naturally feel really great because they are new.
The game also being in the same state for 3 years is just objectively wrong seeing we went from overwatch 1 to overwatch 2 to overwatch 2 but with different health pools and projectile sizes so I don't know what you are on about lol.

@@kassandraofodyssey6475made a mistake, chill. Either way it's still objectively wrong since the projectile size changes are halfway in that 3 season timeline so there was a drastic change so I'm still confused what they mean.

Attack speed stacks on hitting swings feel amazing. Just make speed boost instead on sheild break just port over the doom block. AAAAAAAAA
I thought this was just about mirroring maps. I said 6 years ago we should add day/night variants to all maps and even mirror them (obviously not KOTH).
Some of these abilities need to stay.
Rein is a massive W except shatter.
The window is a good selfish incentive for teammates to stay behind the shield.
Sombra makes her more supportive and has more depth to her gameplay.
Ana headshot is great to raise her skill cap but it should only be on scoped shot and either have damage falloff or a lower headshot multiplier.
Widowmaker is a great.
Her wall always felt a bit strong in higher ranks but useless in lower ranks.
The easier headshots fits better as a DPS ult.
i saw expulsion zone and exploding barriers and got a bit more interested

I played Mirrorwatch Doomfist, I want those changes added to the actual game and I'm boutta add Doomfist to my roster of Tank Characters
As for Bastion if his ultimate in the actual game was this, This would be so funny and could be a better ult than he has now.

For example you load into the game your free to change during set-up but after that once you change to another character from your starting pick your then for the rest of the round , locked into those two heroes?

I refuse to believe it takes a billion seasons for character re-works any longer, or that they can’t change characters the way we actually ask them to when this is what they gift us for a limited time event.

Mercy is insane! Top elims, top assists, top damage, top healing and POTG... everytime you play her!! That E ability is amazing to turn around fights that were lost and it does so much damage. And the ultimate just destroys everything too. Way too OP for regularwatch but for this its great.

I'm just so sick of them screwing up season after season, how are we in season 10 and they still don't understand how to balance their game. It's so boring and miserable every game is orisa and depending on how the dps plays out she's either an unstoppable juggernaut or she explodes

i cant hate on ow2 dude, im new to hte game but ive been following ow content creation scene since 2017, still i dont get the hate the game has, i played a lot of competitive fps games and still ow is the one iva had the best experience with, and seeing this gamemode i just CANT hate ow dude
like im glad i havent been part of the literal game comunitty because i would feel betrayed with ow2, but being a new fan i just get to enjoy the game free and with the full multiplayer experience

Hopefully someone from team4 reads this. I am begging you to make Sombra a support. Please let virus do less damage, and if that person gets healed then you also do for half of it. This is the most fun I have had in Overwatch. Period. Sombra support is THE hero. Hack could instantly start someone’s regen and then bam, extremely fun off healer. Make virus able to heal too so there’s a choice of using it like nade offensively or to save. PLEASSSSSEEEEEEEE team4, she’s so annoying as a dps. This alleviates every thing I hate about her new playstyle instantly. Lore wise she could have finally decoded Mercy’s encrypted files or something. Please omg I’m gonna cry so hard once this mode leaves

Balance changes aren't the main priority for a good chunk of online games' playerbases. There are plenty of people who won't care that Rein deals 10 more damage a swing or Lucio gets ult 5% slower. It's for fun, flashy modes like this that refresh current players, make old players return, and potentially get some new players too. I know you probably aren't super happy with the current game balance, but trust me when I say these types of things are actually extremely important for the longevity of the game.

And when I say butchered I mean it in the way that insted of these abilities being used in a fun and replayable mode. We get this that'll last a week then never be seen again.
