Can't wait to see where this project goes. If you have any questions about the car feel free to ask away. I have a 89 trooper that I am working on restoring. I have worked through a lot of headaches due to the lack of information on the vehicles so I would be glad to share the knowledge I learned the hard way. Keep up the good work 👏.
My biggest issue, since I’m shitcanning the entire engine, is finding a front bumper for a winch!

I had a '91 Trooper for a while. It was the slowest car i've ever owned. I got passed on the freeway by a VW Bus. It also only got about 13mpg on the freeway, and that was the 4cyl engine too... It was really fun to drive around town though. I never got a chance to take it off-road because it wasn't reliable enough (needed some work) I miss it sometimes, but then I think about how much it would've cost me to get it running right..lol
Huh. I didn’t find it to be that slow. It did 80 without too much issue. I wonder if something was wrong?
